Chapter 236: Chapter 236: The Burning Fire Salamander Starport

Inside the Fire Salamander Tribe Headquarters Starport

Starships were anxiously trying to flee this ”living coffin.”

Ironically, this situation caused even more starships to be unable to depart quickly, as they were all crammed together.

Some starships attempted to turn their cannons toward the T3 interstellar stealth bomber on the opposite side, only to find their lines of fire blocked by their own allied vessels.

In the chaos, some even collided with nearby starships.

The entire Fire Salamander Tribe Starport was in utter disarray.

Amidst this chaos, the incoming stellar torpedoes and stellar missiles struck the starport and the starships docked in its crucial lanes one after another.

It was like a spark igniting a pile of kindling.

In an instant, flames erupted everywhere, and explosions broke out in rapid succession.

A T2 starship was unfortunate enough to have its ammunition depot hit. Inside were freshly replenished stellar ship ammunition supplies that had not even been properly stored.

This directly triggered a devastating sympathetic detonation.

After a massive fireball erupted in one area of the Fire Salamander Tribe Starport, an even more terrifying explosion engulfed one-fifth of the facility.

This was because the area around that initial fireball housed a major storage warehouse for starship missiles.

This set off a chain reaction—one explosion leading to another, one ”powder keg” igniting the next.

Those T2 starships, once arrogant and domineering in the star systems controlled by the Fire Salamander Tribe, were now like rats trapped in a cage, utterly helpless as they watched their vessels be consumed by the blasts.

In this desperate situation, some ruthless Fire Salamander Tribe starship captains resorted to ramming the allied ships blocking their escape routes.

Ramming was the milder approach; some even went so far as to launch artillery strikes against their own allies, all for the sake of allowing their own starships to flee this ”living coffin.”

It was a stark display of the saying, ”In times of crisis, even the closest partners abandon each other to save themselves.”

The T1 Interstellar Warships and the few T2 starships that were not inside the starport unleashed a barrage of attacks on the culprit, trying to prevent further tragedy.

However, this was a T3 interstellar warship equipped with a T4 full-range star shield. Even if its stellar shield energy value was not at its peak, it was not something these T1 and T2 starships could breach in a short time.

Zhao Wan’er watched the ”giant torch” before her with immense satisfaction, pleased with her masterpiece.

Especially the T3 Arkham-class Medium Starship Battleship she had ”meticulously” targeted—it had now become a continuously exploding wreck.

Its massive ship hull also blocked the escape routes for other allied vessels, leaving those T2 starships with no choice but to stare helplessly and await their doom.

A few minutes later.

Zhao Chen led his Fierce Dragon Fleet to the battlefield. From the bridge of the T3 Blizzard, he observed the distant ”fireball” clearly visible from afar.

It had to be said, it was truly a spectacular sight.

A video window appeared beside Zhao Chen, with Zhao Wan’er on the other side.

Zhao Wan’er stood up straight. ”Reporting, Commander. The surprise attack mission has been completed.”

”Well done,” Zhao Chen praised.

Zhao Wan’er showed a happy expression at being complimented.

Immediately after, Zhao Wan’er reported with a serious expression, ”Based on the enemy fleet intelligence I detected upon arriving here earlier, there are over a thousand interstellar warships at this Fire Salamander Tribe headquarters! The vast majority of the T2 Starships and the only T3 interstellar warship are docked at the Starport. Although our ship has not yet destroyed the enemy Starport, we focused our strikes on several key internal channel positions within the Starport, preventing the interstellar warships inside from evacuating for a short period. Additionally, there are an estimated remaining eight hundred or so T1 Interstellar Warships outside the Starport.”

”I understand. Your mission is complete; you may withdraw now. Leave the rest to us,” Zhao Chen nodded with satisfaction.

”Yes!”

After ending the communication with Zhao Wan’er, Zhao Chen decisively issued combat orders: ”T2 Lion King-class Number One Ship, Number Two Ship, and Number Three Ship, continue the firepower strike on the Starport using Stellar Missiles. T3 Blizzard and T2 Snow Mastiff, encircle and eliminate the remaining T2 Starships outside the Starport. T2 Black Rhino, engage in free combat, attacking the enemy’s T1 Interstellar Warships. For this operation, no survivors are to be left! We must make these guys understand what kind of enemy they have provoked!”

Zhao Chen issued the kill order.

The Starship Crew saw nothing wrong with this.

This was the Interstellar Battlefield; sometimes, such ruthlessness toward the enemy was necessary.

Since the Fire Salamander Tribe had repeatedly provoked them, they had to make them pay the price.

Actually, there was another reason: Zhao Chen noticed that his mission system had not yet settled, meaning that the interstellar warships destroyed here could also be counted toward the list of destroyed interstellar warships.

Naturally, Zhao Chen could not pass up this opportunity.

Cruel?

Well, they could only blame their chieftain for choosing a path of death.

The slaughter officially began.

The Fire Salamander Tribe’s Starport began to endure the Stellar Missile bombardment from the three T2 Lion King-class Heavy Interstellar Missile Ships.

This completely reduced the Starport to a fiery ruin.

The surrounding Fire Salamander Tribe T2 and T1 interstellar warships were also inevitably hunted down mercilessly by Zhao Chen’s T3 Blizzard, T2 Snow Mastiff, and T2 Black Rhino.

After over two hours of annihilation, many of the Fire Salamander Tribe’s interstellar warships began to flee in disarray. In the end, about one or two hundred managed to escape.

But Zhao Chen had achieved his objective.

Zhao Chen then ordered the T2 Black Rhino-class Interstellar Heavy Assault Frigate to collect as much of the Fire Salamander Tribe’s assets as possible from the surrounding planets, especially raw materials resources.

If there were any Interstellar Transport Ships locally, they were to be ”borrowed” directly.

Since Zhao Chen had come to ”visit,” he couldn’t very well come empty-handed and leave empty-handed, right?

He had to take something back with him.

Just as he was about to return, Zhao Chen heard the system’s prompt in his mind.

He wondered what kind of reward the system would give him this time.
