Wrong Flirt, Right Trouble: His Uncle Pulls Me Close

Her heart was pounding rapidly, but it felt different from the frantic thumping before.

Beneath the surprise, there seemed to be a hint of delight.

”But you just said you had a fiancée...” Ivy Sherwood’s lips were slightly swollen from his assault, making her look pitifully wronged.

He’d even said something about how she had a fiancé, he had a fiancée, and that the two of them getting together would be thrilling.

”You believe everything I say?”

Ivy Sherwood: ”...”

”But I heard... and I saw online...” It was all about Quentin Blackwood’s fiancée.

”You believe what you hear and what you read online?”

”So, you really don’t have a fiancée?” Ivy Sherwood blinked, her long lashes fluttering.

Quentin Blackwood’s eyes were heavy-lidded, his expression particularly cold, tinged with the fierce look of unfulfilled desire.

”In your eyes, am I the kind of man who would cheat on his fiancée?”

’So, Quentin Blackwood was deliberately teasing her again!’

’Just like when he insisted on opening the door when she thought Silas Blackwood was outside—the same old trick to mess with her.’

Quentin Blackwood’s words didn’t sound like a lie, and the media was known for sensationalizing rumors. The guilt in Ivy Sherwood’s heart vanished instantly.

Quentin Blackwood had just finished buttoning his shirt, the top button still undone, when a figure suddenly lunged forward, throwing herself into his arms.

Ivy Sherwood wrapped her arms around Quentin Blackwood’s neck and bit down hard.

’What kind of strange fetish did this man have? Did he just enjoy seeing her fall apart, deliberately spouting all that crude talk?’

”Hiss... Ivy Sherwood!”

Her teeth sank into his skin. Ivy Sherwood was biting hard.

Quentin Blackwood called her name in a warning tone. His eyes, which hadn’t yet regained their composure, grew even deeper, now holding a trace of ruthlessness.

’She had been unwilling, and he had let her go. But now, Ivy Sherwood had thrown herself at him. What was she trying to do?’

”You...”

Quentin Blackwood had barely uttered a word before his lips were sealed by Ivy Sherwood’s. The scent of roses seemed to have been pressed into an intoxicating nectar.

This was the first time Quentin Blackwood had ever been kissed so forcefully. Ivy Sherwood was like a little siren, clinging to him.

”Ivy Sherwood!” Quentin Blackwood mumbled her name, his voice thick with warning.

Ivy Sherwood’s lips parted from his. ”What, does Master Blackwood find his own property distasteful?”

A slight smirk played on Ivy Sherwood’s lips. Her expression was the very picture of seduction.

For the first time, Quentin Blackwood heard his own heart beat in a way it never had before.

’Did she, Ivy Sherwood, even know what she was saying?’

”I’ll give you one last chance. Either let me go and leave now, or...”

This chance was different from the one before. If Ivy Sherwood didn’t let go, he truly wouldn’t let her off easy.

The corners of Ivy Sherwood’s eyes lifted in a flirtatious tilt, as bewitching as a little vixen.

She had no intention of letting go. In fact, Ivy Sherwood grew bolder, unfastening the buttons Quentin Blackwood had just done up.

Her hands inevitably brushed against Quentin Blackwood’s skin. When she touched his firm pectoral muscles, she couldn’t resist pressing her fingertips against them.

’She’d been wanting to touch them since earlier. She wanted to know how these muscles felt.’

’Before, she couldn’t. Now, she could!’

Her fingers even traced a line across his muscles before she lifted her radiant face. ”This is my choice.”

The moment the words left her mouth, Quentin Blackwood leaned down and crushed his lips against hers.

’Since it was Ivy Sherwood’s choice, he would be sure to satisfy her!’

The night was long. It was destined to be a sleepless one.

Tonight, Quentin Blackwood was particularly forceful. He wasn’t wearing the Buddha Beads on his wrist this time, and it was as if some kind of seal had been broken, unleashing his most primal savagery.

Ivy Sherwood spent the entire night paying the price for her choice. Her small frame was held fast by his large hands, unable to move, left to the man’s torment.

The man’s lips landed on her neck. Ivy Sherwood covered the spot. ”Don’t...”

She didn’t want him to leave a mark. It would be hard to explain if she ran into someone.

Quentin Blackwood didn’t make it difficult for her. He simply left the marks that would have been on her neck elsewhere.

After an unknown amount of time, Quentin Blackwood carried Ivy Sherwood to the bathroom.

He picked up the Buddha Beads he had set aside while bathing, placed them in Ivy Sherwood’s hand, and then held out his own wrist before her eyes.

”Put them on for me.”

Quentin Blackwood’s gaze was fixed on Ivy Sherwood’s hands—fair and delicate as fine jade. As she held the Buddha Beads, the contrast of pale skin and dark wood was like a work of art.

Ivy Sherwood could barely lift her arms. Her eyelids were heavy; she was exhausted and sleepy.

But she obediently picked up the Buddha Beads and wrapped them around his wrist.

Finally, nestled in Quentin Blackwood’s arms, Ivy Sherwood drifted into a deep sleep.

Quentin Blackwood held the woman in his arms. She wasn’t short, but she was exceptionally light.

Carrying her to the second-floor bedroom, he laid her on the bed. Quentin Blackwood gazed at her face, reached out, and brushed his fingers against her cheek.

If Ivy Sherwood had opened her eyes, she would have seen his expression—restrained, yet filled with a complex, unreadable emotion.

...

「The next morning」

Ivy Sherwood woke up feeling like her body had been taken apart and put back together wrong.

The sky outside was bright; it looked like it could be nine or even ten o’clock.

Ivy Sherwood tried to sit up, but her body was weak and sore, as if she’d been run over by a truck.

This time, the man had been rougher than on any of the previous occasions.

But her body felt clean and refreshed, which was a gentlemanly touch on his part.

However, she didn’t see Quentin Blackwood and wondered if he had left.

Everything from last night was still vivid in her mind. It had been absolutely crazy.

Ivy Sherwood had always been someone who followed her heart. What had bothered her before was the thought of Quentin Blackwood having a fiancée. So when she heard he didn’t, she simply stopped holding back.

’Thinking back on it now, it was really bold of her.’

’The fact that Quentin Blackwood didn’t tear her to shreds last night was a sign of his mercy.’

Ivy Sherwood went downstairs and saw that breakfast was already laid out on the table. In the bathroom, there were fresh towels and new toiletries.

Quentin Blackwood didn’t seem to be around. It was better that way; otherwise, it would be too awkward.

After a simple breakfast, Ivy Sherwood didn’t feel like going anywhere, as her body was still sore. But the weather was beautiful, so she decided to go for a walk anyway. After all, the scenery here was highly advertised, and since she was already here, she might as well enjoy it and clear her head.

...

「Meanwhile」

Silas Blackwood had spent the night sleeping in his car. The cramped space made his back ache, and to top it all off, he was freezing to death.

What was even more infuriating was that his phone was still in the room, and he hadn’t been able to get it back.

Last night, he’d been taken away after someone reported him for disturbing their rest. And then, this morning, he saw his uncle walking over from that very direction.

Silas Blackwood couldn’t help but wonder, ’What is my uncle doing at the resort?’

’Did he just arrive today, or was he here yesterday too?’

’Judging by the direction he’s coming from... isn’t that the building I was knocking at yesterday?’

’If my uncle was there, why didn’t he open the door for me?’

Silas Blackwood quickly got out of his car. ”Uncle!”

Hearing the voice, Quentin Blackwood frowned.

Silas Blackwood rushed over. ”Uncle, why didn’t you tell me you were coming? Did you get here yesterday?”

The last sentence was clearly a probing question.

However, just as Silas Blackwood finished speaking, he noticed an uncovered mark on Quentin Blackwood’s neck. It looked like a bite mark.

Silas Blackwood was no stranger to that sort of thing, and he grew excited.

’My uncle is here... could it be...’

’That woman is here too!’
