Super Tycoon: I Beg You, Stop Pulling Stunts

Chapter 202: Chapter 188: Good Big Brother

’This kind of atmosphere is much better.’

”Damn, I’m beat. What are you guys talking about?”

Lin Chu sat down next to Liu Junfeng.

Gu Jiayan quickly poured a cup of hot tea and handed it to him.

Lin Chu took a sip, his gaze sweeping across the room. ’I’m still mulling over these personnel issues.’

’Right now, it feels a bit like being in a supermarket, with all sorts of people to choose from. The only question is how to choose. I need to think this through.’

’Feelings are one dimension.’

’Abilities are another.’

’I have to consider both.’

’It’s fine to eat and drink with friends and brothers, since I’m the one paying anyway. But when it comes to working together... sigh, this is where emotional intelligence is really put to the test.’

”Alright, since everyone’s here, let’s talk business. It’s getting late. The sooner we finish, the sooner we can all go home and sleep.”

”Zhang Peng, what are your thoughts? You go first.”

Lin Chu said bluntly, calling on Zhang Peng first.

Zhang Peng paused for a moment, a slight smile appearing on his lips. He understood what Lin Chu meant and said with a chuckle, ”You’ve just taken over here, so you definitely need your own people. But we have people now. I’m like a brick—move me wherever you need me. The live-streaming company’s business and personnel relationships are relatively simple. Whoever you need, you can transfer them at any time. I have no problem with that.”

Lin Chu smiled and nodded.

’Bosses have a certain rapport; their thought processes are basically the same.’

’Zhang Peng is growing up fast. It’s only been a few months, and he’s already got the right idea.’

’A true right-hand man.’

’Life’s encounters are truly wonderful and unpredictable.’

”Find me two financial managers. Manager level is fine. They’ll be on the same level. The first priority is to get the books in order.”

Lin Chu gave the order directly.

Hearing this, Zhang Peng immediately smiled and nodded. After a moment of thought, he said, ”Leave it to me. Let’s pull them from my side for now. One will be a formal transfer, and one will be on loan. Once the books are sorted, you can either select one of them permanently or find someone else. Either way works.”

’That’s a good approach.’

’After all, we really are short-staffed right now. We have no real talent on the finance side. The live-streaming company has only been around for a few months.’

”Okay, that works.”

At that moment, Lin Chu once again thought of the financial assistant named Shen Huanxi. ’I should have her transferred over.’ But there was no need to say this out loud. ’I’ll just message Zhang Peng about it later.’

He’d take care of both official business and this private arrangement at once. ℯℯ𝑙.

With these thoughts in mind, Lin Chu turned to Liu Junfeng.

”Old Liu, the private director’s board business doesn’t need to be merged into the club. Keep it running in parallel. This place is better for gathering people, anyway. But I’ve saved a position for you at the club—a vice president. How about it? Ready to get to work?”

Liu Junfeng’s sharp Adam’s apple bobbed as he swallowed hard, his eyes shining with excitement.

He burst out laughing. ”Fuck, hey, does this make me the biggest winner here? Yes, yes, yes! Let’s do it! What the hell else is there to say?”

He made a slightly lewd rowing gesture.

’Happiness came so suddenly.’

’I never would have imagined, not in a million years, that Lin Chu would suddenly make such a huge move and just buy a golf club!’

Lin Chu clapped him on the shoulder and said with a smile, ”Get to work. Work hard. I’m setting a target for the second half of the year: fifty members for the private director’s board. I’ll give you access to the club’s membership list later. If you can’t do it, you’re out, and He Meng is in.”

His words were partly joking, but also carried a hint of official seriousness.

’Don’t you get complacent on me just because I favor you.’

’Everyone has to pull their weight.’

Liu Junfeng laughed, looked at He Meng, and joked, ”No problem! Sister Meng, I’ll split my annual salary with you. We’re in this together, right?”

He Meng understood what he was getting at. She shot him a look and retorted with a smile, ”Get lost! As if I need your help. Let’s split the target, fifty-fifty. Just watch, I’ll grind you into the dust.”

The two had spent some time together recently and had grown quite familiar with each other.

Liu Junfeng: ...

He was truly at a loss when it came to this woman.

Even though He Meng had just graduated and entered the workforce, she was already showing the potential of a ”Bone-White Spirit of the workplace.”

She was very smart, had strong execution skills, and could be either flexible or firm as the situation demanded. Aside from a slight lack of experience, everything else about her was top-notch.

...

”I... I’d like to apply for the position of Head of Security!”

Just then, Wang Zhefei suddenly raised his hand and blurted this out.

PFFT!

Lu Ming, who was sitting next to him, burst out laughing.

’Brother Fei really knows how to stir things up.’

His nonsensical, comical, and even slightly absurd style was completely different from Liu Junfeng’s smooth, sophisticated adaptability.

The one thing they had in common, however, was that both could make people burst out laughing in an instant.

”Forget it. Why be the Head of Security? How about the supervisor of the women’s lounge?”

Lin Chu glanced at him and replied with a laugh.

Wang Zhefei immediately shot to his feet, adopting a bootlicking pose. ”Great! It’s a deal! Quick, give me the employment contract. A monthly salary of just three hundred thousand will be fine.”

Lin Chu: ”No, no, no. How could three hundred thousand be enough for you? Let’s make it three million.”

Wang Zhefei, holding back a laugh, said, ”No, I can’t accept that. It’s too much. My pure soul would be corrupted by filthy money. I quit!”

Lin Chu: ...

’Get lost!’

’Dumbass!’

However, his antics completely dissipated the slightly tense atmosphere from before.

—You can’t go into business with friends.

This seemed to be a golden rule.

A moment ago, Lin Chu had been worried about this very thing, which was why he was being so cautious, his mind overloaded with thoughts.

But now, he suddenly had a flash of insight and everything became clear.

’What the hell is there to be afraid of?’

’The club’s core profit model is selling memberships.’

’Do I need to sell memberships?’

’Obviously not.’

’I can just give them away, thanks to the double rebate system.’

’It’s a business that’s destined to never lose money.’

’Since it’s a business that can’t lose money, and the club itself is a place for entertainment, why not just have fun with my brothers?’

’Even if they really screw something up, who gives a fuck?’
