Reborn As Super Heiress

Although the fat woman was greedy, she had always operated her hotel cautiously and had never encountered such a situation before. Now, suddenly faced with it, she was already scared out of her wits. After being slapped by the big man, she rolled onto the floor, let out a groan, and fainted.

Seeing that the subordinates couldn’t find the target after searching all around, and not even finding luggage in the target’s room, the leading big man guessed that the target they were searching for must have already fled.

Since the person had already escaped, the hotel owner naturally became useless. The big man showed a look of disdain and simply let go, tossing the owner onto the ground.

”Let’s go!”

The big man waved his hand, and the group quickly exited the hotel.

Huo Sining and Gu Xu had been standing inside a room; seeing this group leave, they dared not linger in the hotel any longer and immediately escaped from inside.

The hotel owner was still unconscious, and Huo Sining dared not wake her up. However, feeling guilty, as if it were not for their sudden lodging, the hotel owner might not have experienced such hardship. Therefore, before leaving, Huo Sining secretly took out ten thousand RMB from her storage ring and stuffed it into the owner’s bosom.

Regardless, it was their trouble that attracted those gangsters; otherwise, the owner would not have suffered from this calamity. That ten thousand was considered compensation for her.

Although the owner had been slapped by the big man, causing her face to swell, her body wasn’t seriously affected; she had only fainted from excessive fright and could wake up in a few hours, so Huo Sining wasn’t worried about anyone dying.

Huo Sining and Gu Xu carefully stepped out of the hotel; without revealing themselves, as expected, they saw two suspicious individuals standing under a streetlight, keeping a close watch on the hotel, seemingly monitoring the situation.

The group who had entered the hotel was nowhere to be seen, leaving behind two watchers who appeared quite young, perhaps only seventeen or eighteen, likely just new entrants to the gang.

Huo Sining and Gu Xu exchanged a glance, stealthily moved towards where those two young watchers were stationed after exchanging opinions.

Once behind the two young watchers, it didn’t take Huo Sining and Gu Xu much effort to simultaneously act and subdue them.

Of course, Huo Sining’s methods were simpler and more direct; she directly grabbed a gold brick from her storage ring and struck at the thug’s neck.

The neck is where a major artery is, and Huo Sining had learned some self-defense moves from Chen Dekun during military training, including a move to knock someone out with a hand chop.

Huo Sining had used this before while in China, but the Mexican thug was evidently more robust. Worrying that her chop might not knock him out, she opted to use a weapon, hitting with a gold brick.

The hardness and weight of a gold brick cannot be matched by a regular brick; this hit rendered the thug unconscious without even a chance to scream, collapsing onto the ground.

Seeing the thug lying on the ground, Huo Sining kicked him a few more times; seeing him lie as still as a dead pig, she couldn’t help shooting a mischievous glance at Gu Xu.

On the other side, Gu Xu efficiently subdued the young thug.

Gu Xu was a former special forces soldier, so dealing with a young thug was no challenge. With a move, he dislocated the thug’s arm and dislocated his jaw, making him unable to speak and surrender quietly to their handling.

Huo Sining was very quick, not needing instructions from Gu Xu, she swiftly took out two military ropes.

Gu Xu took the ropes and bound the two thugs, using military knot-tying techniques to tie a secure strategic binding from neck to back with a sword-style dead knot.

Huo Sining didn’t hesitate, and directly took out a standard-issue pistol from her storage ring, pressing it against the thug with the dislocated jaw, asking:

”Who sent you?”

The thug probably hadn’t expected Huo Sining and Gu Xu to attack from behind, showing anger in his eyes, even attempting to break free from the rope, but soon realized that the more he struggled, the tighter the rope became, rendering him motionless. He could only glare venomously at Huo Sining and Gu Xu.

Seeing this, Gu Xu coldly chuckled, saying to the thug: ”You can choose not to answer, but let me tell you, I have a hundred ways to make you willingly tell me!”

Meanwhile, Gu Xu kicked somewhere on the thug, making his face change in pain, twisting his features, his entire body stiffening.

”I’ll talk... I’ll talk...”

The young thug had apparently not experienced much and wasn’t very tough; frightened by Gu Xu’s minor techniques, even with a dislocated jaw, he couldn’t control himself, nodding in submission and starting to beg.

Seeing this, Gu Xu promptly reset the thug’s jaw; with Huo Sining’s pistol pressing against him, he didn’t dare play any tricks and confessed truthfully.

”We were sent by the boss.”

Upon hearing this, Gu Xu furrowed his brow: ”Who is your boss? Why are you tracking us?”

The young thug wore a bitter expression: ”Our boss is Adrian, the spokesperson for District 11, though he also follows orders from above, likely from the polar bear. As for why we’re tracking you, I only know a rough idea. Apparently, a few days ago, someone broke into our headquarters and stole secret information. The polar bear was furious, so the boss sent us to catch the thief.”

Hearing this, Gu Xu got anxious: ”Did you capture the person who stole your information?”

The young thug nodded: ”We did, but didn’t find any information on those two. We suspect it has been moved, but no matter how much we ask, they refuse to talk. Our boss suspects that information is hidden somewhere by those two, so we were told to monitor Tepito, leading us to spot you.”

Huo Sining and Gu Xu exchanged glances, suddenly realizing something, asking: ”Who is the polar bear you mentioned?”

The young thug hesitated before saying: ”Polar bear is Mr. Tranleva.”

Huo Sining was taken aback; the name sounded familiar. Back at the market, that strange woman had also mentioned this name to her.
