Reborn As Super Heiress

This was an entire box full of diamonds. The stones were all very large, much bigger than the usual diamonds seen on the market. And these were actually the smallest fifty stones that Huo Sining had picked out of those 127 diamonds in advance, in order to proceed step by step, because this wooden box was simply too small to hold all one hundred-plus diamonds.

Even so, the moment they saw these fifty diamonds, Windsor Reed and the other two were already completely dumbfounded.

Especially since each of these diamonds was plump in size, crystal clear in texture, regular in shape, with starlight shimmering inside every single stone, not a trace of flaw.

Top-grade fancy diamonds on the market were already as rare as phoenix feathers and unicorn horns. Even if you occasionally came across one or two rather large stones, they often had a lot of impurities inside due to their size, or their irregular shapes would mean that once the facets were cut, the color would shift from deep to light, and the price would instantly drop to a fraction, or even a tenth, of what it could have been.

For diamond prices, color grade, clarity, and size were all indispensable. For a truly rare, genuine diamond, not a single one of these elements could be lacking.

As for top-quality beautiful diamonds, those were truly one in ten thousand, worth their weight in gold. Even though Windsor Reed was full of hope in inviting Huo Sining to help him gamble on a diamond mine vein, even if they really did hit a diamond mine, whether that vein could produce top-grade diamonds was still completely unknown.

But right now, in front of Windsor Reed, there was actually a whole box full of top-grade diamonds like this. How could he not be shocked out of his wits?

Windsor Reed almost subconsciously reached out and picked up one diamond from the box, holding it in his hand to examine it carefully.

With diamond prices remaining sky-high, there were a huge number of inferior or outright fake diamonds on the market, passed off as the real thing. The scene was a total mess, a mix of fish and dragons. Splicing, glass filling, laser drilling, irradiation, coating, plating—these tricks were endless. If you weren’t an insider in this circle, it was all too easy to get fooled.

However, Windsor Reed had dealt with diamonds for many years and was naturally an expert. As for whether a diamond was real or fake, he could usually tell after just a few glances once it was in his hand.

He held the diamond under the light for a while, weighed it in his hand a bit, and even took out a small laser pen he carried with him to shine it over the diamond. Very soon, he couldn’t help but suck in a sharp breath.

Because he discovered that this diamond was actually real—and not only that, it absolutely counted as a top-grade stone with high clarity, high color, and heavy weight. Moreover, the wooden box in front of him was filled to the brim with diamonds of the same grade as the one in his hand.

Windsor Reed was completely stunned. He felt his blood boiling, a surge of excitement rushing up from the bottom of his heart, and for a moment he simply could not suppress it.

”Ho... Miss Huo.”

Windsor Reed worked hard to steady his emotions, trying to calm himself down, but the moment he opened his mouth, he completely betrayed the wild frenzy inside him. Even his lips were trembling uncontrollably:

”These diamonds... you... they’re all yours?”

Huo Sining nodded with a smile. ”Yes, they’re all mine.”

Windsor Reed’s eyes lit up at once. He looked at Huo Sining with an eager expression. ”Then... are you planning to sell them?”

Huo Sining didn’t hide anything. ”Yes. I’m trying to raise money. You should know, right now I’m basically a pauper. I don’t have much cash on hand, and it’s far from enough to pay for the two Beast Heads I bought at the auction today. So I want to sell all these diamonds I have. Only then can I raise enough money to buy those two Beast Heads. That’s why I came to you. I wanted to ask if you’re interested in buying my diamonds.”

What Windsor Reed lacked right now was diamonds. Of course, he wouldn’t even look at ordinary small stones. He wanted to build a high-end brand, so naturally his standards were picky; if the diamonds weren’t good, he absolutely wouldn’t take them. But the box of diamonds Huo Sining had brought out was truly flawless. Even with his nitpicking eye, this box of goods was perfect enough.

”Yes, yes, yes. Miss Huo, I was just worrying that I don’t have enough supply on hand. With these diamonds, I’ll have absolute confidence when I go to the diamond trade fair in London in May. Even if I don’t manage to gamble on a diamond mine for the time being, I won’t be in a passive position. These diamonds of yours really are a timely rain for me.”

There was no way Windsor Reed would refuse. With goods this good, if he pushed them away, he really would be an idiot.

Although Huo Sining was in a hurry to raise money, this box was clearly full of top-notch stuff. Even if he didn’t buy them, she wouldn’t have any trouble selling at all. All she had to do was randomly find a few rough diamond suppliers, and she could unload them in minutes.

Windsor Reed naturally understood that the reason Huo Sining had come to him first was entirely because Windsor Caesar was on fairly close terms with her. They could be considered friends, which allowed him to enjoy ”proximity to the water tower” and get first access to such a great benefit from Huo Sining.

Understanding this, Windsor Reed did not deliberately lowball or belittle the value of this batch of diamonds when he named a price.

The reason for this was, on the one hand, he knew very well that his son had feelings for Huo Sining. If he tried to squeeze the price now, things between his son and Miss Huo would definitely be awkward later. He didn’t want to make things difficult for his son;

On the other hand, it was also because he truly admired this Huo Sining. This Huaxia woman looked petite and delicate, but inside she possessed a powerful soul—beautiful and intelligent, full of the enchanting charm of an Eastern woman.

So Windsor Reed straightforwardly agreed to Huo Sining’s request and directly offered a high price of fifty million US dollar to buy this batch of diamonds.

Huo Sining had originally thought that if this box of diamonds could sell for thirty million, that would already be the limit. She hadn’t expected Windsor Reed to be so generous. Judging by the look of it, this old man really was bold and refreshingly straightforward, which raised her opinion of Windsor Reed by a few more points.

Windsor Reed was extremely pleased with these diamonds. After Huo Sining agreed, he immediately acted as if afraid she would regret it, hastily signaling to his son to print out several copies of the transaction contract. The two of them needed to hurry up and sign the sales agreement. Only once the black-and-white contract took effect could he truly relax.

Upon hearing his father’s instructions, Windsor Caesar quickly stood up and walked out. Seeing this, Huo Sining couldn’t help but curl her lips into a smile at Windsor Caesar and said:

”You’re going to print the agreement? Then two copies won’t be enough, Emperor. You’d better prepare a few more. They’ll probably come in handy in a bit.”
