Reborn As Super Heiress

Semiya was a bit confused, not quite understanding what Clayflo meant: ”Why?”

Clayflo, however, didn’t intend to explain much, just acted mysteriously and said with intrigue: ”Just wait and see the good show, you don’t have to worry about anything else. All you need to know is that I am doing this for you, to vent your anger.”

Semiya nodded, half-understanding, but as soon as she heard it was for her, she immediately became happy.

On one side, the siblings were secretly plotting. Meanwhile, Huo Sining’s group, after returning to the hotel, couldn’t contain their excitement, especially Su Qingqing, who chattered nonstop along the way.

Once back at the hotel, Huo Sining couldn’t wait to grab a box and, together with Gu Xu, enter Windsor Reed’s room.

Since Huo Sining had previously mentioned discussing with Windsor Reed about going to Mexico to gamble on a diamond mine, Windsor Reed was waiting upon returning to the hotel. Seeing Huo Sining carrying a box, he was puzzled but still welcomed Huo Sining and Gu Xu with a smile.

Inside the room, Windsor Caesar and Adrian were also present, but Huo Sining didn’t find their presence inappropriate. She casually took a seat on the sofa opposite Windsor Reed and placed her box on the coffee table.

”Miss Huo, in fact, if you hadn’t come to me this time, I would have sought you out soon. All my preparations are complete, just waiting for you, the gambler, to take action.”

”I’ll be honest with you, because next May in London, there’s going to be a very large diamond exhibition. This exhibition will gather buyers from all over the world who love diamonds, and the trading volume will be very significant.”

”Therefore, I want to gamble on a diamond vein before the exhibition begins. By leveraging this opportunity, we can expand the brand greatly. As long as there’s enough supply, we can shine at the exhibition and break through the crowd.”

Before Huo Sining could speak, Windsor Reed had already said everything in one breath, and he looked at Huo Sining with anticipation, evidently having great faith in her gamble on the mine.

Huo Sining and Gu Xu were taken aback by this, subconsciously exchanging glances.

Huo Sining was secretly pleased and, without showing it, said, ”Mr. Windsor, the exhibition in May is really tight on time. In just four short months, gambling on a mine, extraction, and presenting products for display—isn’t this timeline a bit too tight?”

Windsor Reed’s lips curled into a wry smile: ”There’s no helping it. I wish I could speed up the process, but without raw materials, no matter how urgent I am, it won’t change anything.”

Huo Sining couldn’t help but laugh: ”You can’t rush gambling on a diamond mine; it’s not something that can be hurried. Since I’ve agreed to it, I certainly won’t go back on my word. But regarding the exhibition, I think you can set your mind at ease. When it comes to raw materials, I can help you solve this issue.”

Windsor Reed was taken aback, and even Adrian and Windsor Caesar, who were nearby, instinctively raised their heads.

Huo Sining stopped hiding her intentions and directly revealed her purpose for coming there:

”Mr. Windsor, my husband and I came to find you today regarding diamond raw materials.”

”At today’s black market auction, I had Li Jun bid on two beast heads for me. The prices were outrageous, as I’m sure you’re all aware, so I won’t go into detail.”

”To be honest, before coming to America, due to the earthquake in Huaxia Country’s Qingya, I donated almost all of my possessions, including a 50% stake in a medium-sized jade mine in Myanmar and the entirety of my group company holdings. So, in fact, I have very little money left.”

Upon hearing this, Windsor Reed exclaimed, ”Ah!” in surprise, while Adrian was equally shocked.

On the other hand, Windsor Caesar’s eyes were filled with admiration and praise for Huo Sining’s actions. But realizing that she didn’t have money to secure the two beast heads, his brows furrowed once more:

”You had no money, yet you dared to let Li Jun call such a high price? Didn’t he say at the auction that you had prepared four hundred million?”

Huo Sining smiled: ”Even on the battlefield, deception is practiced. So, in an auction, things might not be as they seem. I had Li Jun say that to mislead the other bidders.”

Windsor Reed understood but expressed concern: ”Your method is certainly clever, but the auction price is too high. With no money, how can you get those two beast heads back?”

Adrian nodded in agreement: ”Clayflo isn’t easy to deal with. The Rothschild Family is highly principled in business. Without money, they won’t budge, and if you don’t pay in two weeks, you’ll be blacklisted, with all Rothschild enterprises shutting their doors to you.”

Huo Sining nodded: ”I know, which is why I must gather the money within two weeks and take those two beast heads back to my country. My compatriots are eagerly awaiting me to return with those treasures.”

Windsor Reed frowned: ”I know your capabilities, but this isn’t about millions; it’s over two billion. Even if you deduct the nine hundred million you won back from Semiya, that’s still over 1.6 billion. How could you gather this in ten or fifteen days? Even if you gamble in Gambling City, you can’t make that much money so quickly.”

Huo Sining’s lips curved into a sly smile: ”That’s why I came to find you, Mr. Windsor.”

”Find me?” Windsor Reed was taken aback, instinctively glancing at his son.

Huo Sining gently stretched out her hand to open the wooden box before her, revealing layered and multi-colored spherical objects inside. Under the light, with star-like rays reflecting from them, they dazzled, almost blindingly so.

”What’s this...”

Windsor Reed took a few seconds to compose himself, and upon seeing what was inside the box, he was utterly astonished, trembling all over, his eyes wide with disbelief.

Adrian and Windsor Caesar were also stunned, their gaze fixed on the box in Huo Sining’s hand.

Huo Sining wasn’t surprised by their reaction at all. Even though she had seen it many times before, opening this box once more made her heart race uncontrollably, and her eyes lingered greedily on the diamonds, unable to tear away.
