Urban Martial Saint

Old Chen clutched his butt and ran off, leaving Ye Qing here with a head full of black lines. This Old Chen, he was always like this, at the most critical moment in the conversation, he either had to relieve himself or take a leak, anyway, there was no hope of finishing this matter with him.

If it weren’t for the mysterious nature of Old Chen, Ye Qing really would have wanted to get rid of him sooner. But precisely because Old Chen’s identity was so mysterious, and he himself kept it hidden, it made Ye Qing more curious. Anyone who could enter the Tomb of Ghost Valley Master surely wasn’t a simple character. Hence, Ye Qing wasn’t really planning to chase him away, just wanted to figure out his identity. The more Old Chen tried to cover it up, the more curious Ye Qing became. But figuring out Old Chen’s identity seemed somewhat difficult. At least, if this old man didn’t reveal it himself, probably no one would ever know his identity.

After going into the kitchen to drink some porridge and eat a few buns, Ye Qing headed out. This World Alliance estate, formerly the Southern Suburbs Dogfight Arena, was a very famous private club on this side of Shenchuan City. Later Ye Qing and Li Lianshan took over this club and made it their business. However, because the Seven Steering Committees of Hong Alliance later settled in Shenchuan City, this private club remained unopened. But now Ye Qing just happened to need it, so it became a base for the World Alliance.

Last night, after taking stock, the World Alliance had twenty-seven peak masters and fifty-three top-level masters, truly a gathering of masters. Compared to the Seven Steering Committees of Hong Alliance and the Twelve Green Halls, the World Alliance now had overwhelming strength. However, compared to the Wanyan Family and the Sword Saint Sect, it was hard to say.

Ye Qing directly headed for where Shijia lived, he had some questions to ask him.

Shijia lived with the Reincarnated True Buddha, it was Shijia’s own request. Both were top figures of the current Buddhist sect, and it was unknown what they had to say to each other. Anyway, Ye Qing was familiar with both of them, so he directly went to their courtyard.

As he reached the courtyard gate, Ye Qing saw from afar a few people standing at the entrance of the courtyard, it was Cui Yulong and others from Sha Men. The Killing Gate Seven Hidden were also among them.

Seeing these people, Ye Qing was a little surprised, walked over to greet everyone, and curiously asked, ”Everyone, what are you doing here?”

Cui Yu said, ”The Sect Leader came to see Elder Shijia, so we are guarding outside, not letting outsiders freely enter and exit the courtyard.”

”Oh?” Ye Qing looked inside the estate and said, ”So it’s not convenient to enter now?”

”Outsiders can’t freely enter and exit, but you’re not an outsider, Ye brothers, so you don’t need to mind these things.” Cui Yu smiled, made way, and said, ”The True Buddha said you would definitely come over, so he also had us wait here, and if you came, to let you in directly.”

”The True Buddha knew I was coming?” Ye Qing widened his eyes, this True Buddha was really something, could he also reckon like Old Wang Ba?

Cui Yu smiled silently and opened the door to let Ye Qing in.

Just as Ye Qing entered the courtyard, he heard Shijia’s voice coming from afar: ”No, no, you’re still too far off!”

Ye Qing looked up to see the Bloody Monk standing in the courtyard while Shijia was patting his shoulder. With each pat, the Bloody Monk’s feet sank deeper into the ground. In this while, the Bloody Monk’s legs, below the knees, were entirely sunk into the ground, showing how powerful Shijia was.

Seeing this situation, Ye Qing couldn’t help but be surprised. Although Shijia always said he wanted to convert the Bloody Monk, the two had never sparred before, so what was going on now?

The Reincarnated True Buddha was sitting cross-legged on a stone platform in the distance, eyes slightly closed, no one knew what he was thinking. On the other side, Wolf Monk and White-haired Ding San leaned against the wall. White-haired Ding San was still the same, expressionless, while Wolf Monk was full of astonishment, evidently surprised.

As if sensing Ye Qing’s arrival, the Reincarnated True Buddha turned his head and happened to meet Ye Qing’s gaze. The Reincarnated True Buddha nodded slowly at Ye Qing, signaling him to come over.

With doubt, Ye Qing walked straight to the Reincarnated True Buddha, looking at the two in the scene, curiously asked, ”What are they doing?”

”Shijia is teaching the Blood Robe Sect Leader martial arts.” The Reincarnated True Buddha glanced at Ye Qing and said, ”It’s the Vajra Indestructible Body of the Buddhist sect!”

Hearing this, Ye Qing’s heart skipped a beat. Shijia was actually teaching the Bloody Monk the Vajra Indestructible Body, which was one of the top martial arts of the Buddhist sect. The Indestructible Demon Body of the Demon Sect, the Primal Mysterious Body of the Taoist Sect, and the Vajra Indestructible Body of the Buddhist sect were known as the three strongest body cultivation ultimate techniques across the three major sects. It is said that reaching its deepest level can make one’s physical body indestructible, extending life and renewing life without question.

Shijia, having mastered the Vajra Indestructible Body, broke through the pinnacle’s shackles. Now, he’s teaching this ultimate technique to the Bloody Monk. It seems the Bloody Monk’s power will surge tremendously in the future.

However, Ye Qing was only surprised for a moment, and then suddenly remembered something, asking, ”Didn’t Shijia already teach the Blood Robe Sect Leader the Vajra Indestructible Body before?”

The Reincarnated True Buddha replied, ”What was taught before was just the basics. Now, what’s being taught is the complete part Shijia has practiced!”

”Oh?” Ye Qing cast a surprised glance at Shijia and asked, ”Then why didn’t he teach the complete part to the Blood Robe Sect Leader earlier? Isn’t it a waste of time this way?”

The Reincarnated True Buddha said, ”This Vajra Indestructible Body isn’t something everyone can cultivate, many can’t advance even if they have the complete secret. Still, many covet this Buddhist secret technique. If Shijia had taught the complete secret earlier to these people, who knows how long they could survive. He initially only taught the basic part, and if someone truly comprehends it, he would then teach the complete part.”

Upon hearing this, Ye Qing suddenly understood. After all, Shijia was also preserving this Buddhist secret technique and his junior brothers. As the Reincarnated True Buddha said, if he had taught the complete cultivation technique to these junior brothers early on, they might not have survived until today. Many covet this cultivation technique and might attack them to acquire it.

Shijia initially only taught the basics of the Vajra Indestructible Body, letting them explore and comprehend it themselves. This way, without the complete technique, no one would target them. Also, it allowed them to enlighten themselves. Whoever can comprehend the Vajra Indestructible Body, Shijia would teach them the complete technique. The Bloody Monk, for instance, comprehended the Vajra Indestructible Body earlier and used what he comprehended to kill the Iga Ryu Clan Master. Thus, Shijia called him over to teach him the complete Vajra Indestructible Body technique. In conclusion, the Bloody Monk’s comprehension ability was strong enough, so he received Shijia’s teachings.

Ye Qing watched Shijia and the Bloody Monk in the field, and Shijia kept patting the Bloody Monk on the shoulder, pushing him into the ground bit by bit. In this time, the Bloody Monk’s legs had fully sunk into the ground, and the cement floor had reached his waist. Such depth, forcing him into the ground with mere hand pats, showcased the sheer power of Shijia.

And throughout the process, Shijia didn’t say anything else, just continually shouted ”no” and ”not enough,” which was quite bewildering. Shijia wasn’t transmitting the cultivation technique, but instead, was patting the Bloody Monk, saying such words, what did it mean?

”Didn’t he say he was teaching the Blood Robe Sect Leader the technique? But it looks like he’s just beating him up?” Ye Qing asked quietly to the Reincarnated True Buddha beside him.

”He’s teaching the Blood Robe Sect Leader the technique this way.” The Reincarnated True Buddha said, ”He is transmitting the Vajra Indestructible Body’s power into the Blood Robe Sect Leader’s body, letting him feel the power, thereby realizing the true Vajra Indestructible Body. He won’t teach specific mnemonic chants as for Buddhist secret techniques, mnemonic chants don’t have much significance. What’s important is individual comprehension. How much the Blood Robe Sect Leader can realize depends on his own fortune.”

Ye Qing suddenly understood, looking at the Bloody Monk whose waist was already sunk into the ground, and couldn’t help but be astonished again. This method of teaching martial arts was indeed quite peculiar. What could the Bloody Monk comprehend?

The Purple Robe Lama stood beside the Reincarnated True Buddha, looking at the two in the field, eyes full of shock. Although he was one of the Five Unmatched of the World, compared to Shijia, there was still a big gap. For someone in the Buddhist sect, receiving Shijia’s direct guidance was a blessing. It was inevitable to make others envious of Shijia teaching the Bloody Monk martial arts this way.

This situation lasted for more than a dozen minutes, and the shoulders of the Bloody Monk were already sunk into the ground, with only the neck and head remaining outside. It could be said that if Shijia struck a few more times, he could completely push the Bloody Monk into the ground. Throughout the process, the Bloody Monk always had his hands in prayer, eyes closed, never opening them, as if he was in a meditative trance. No one knew what he comprehended.

Shijia struck again, and this time, something strange happened. The Bloody Monk didn’t continue sinking into the ground but stayed motionless in place. Shijia’s strike seemed to have no effect whatsoever.

Seeing this situation, Shijia was immediately delighted and said, ”That’s right, just like that. Come, take another strike from me!”

Calling out, Shijia suddenly increased his power and once again struck heavily. But this time, the strike wasn’t aimed at the Bloody Monk’s shoulder, but directly at the Bloody Monk’s head. This situation shocked everyone around, considering Shijia’s power, such a strike could be fatal!
