Urban Martial Saint

Actually, when the World Alliance was first established, the Twelve Green Halls intended to join. The reason they didn’t was because of the Seven Steering Committees of the Hong Alliance. At that time, the World Alliance was within the Seven Rudders of Hong Alliance, even though Ye Qing was the Alliance Leader. However, the Twelve Green Halls clearly saw that the Seven Steering Committees still held the main control position. In such circumstances, the Twelve Green Halls certainly wouldn’t join, otherwise wouldn’t they be under the control of the Seven Steering Committees of the Hong Alliance?

And now, since the Seven Steering Committees of the Hong Alliance have withdrawn, it’s natural for the Twelve Green Halls to want to join the World Alliance. With the strength of the Twelve Green Halls, if they join the World Alliance, they might gradually take control of the organization and enhance their own power. The Twelve Green Halls are playing a good strategic game here.

The Seven Steering Committees of Hong Alliance are most worried. If the Twelve Green Halls join, what will happen to the Seven Steering Committees in the future?

”Ye brothers, does this mean you’re not planning to leave Shenchuan City?” Among the crowd, an elder with a puzzled expression asked first: ”But the Seven Steering Committees of the Hong Alliance have already withdrawn from the World Alliance. If the World Alliance continues to stay in Shenchuan City, where would it be located?”

”I’ve already considered this.” Ye Qing smiled and said, ”Though I may not be talented, I do have some businesses in Shenchuan City, which should be sufficient for the World Alliance to settle there.”

Upon hearing Ye Qing’s words, many from the Seven Steering Committees of the Hong Alliance were somewhat disappointed. This means that although the World Alliance will remain in Shenchuan City, it won’t stay with the Seven Rudders. In other words, the Seven Steering Committees of the Hong Alliance cannot seize that most favorable condition.

Huangfu Ziyu smiled slightly, Ye Qing’s decision also made her feel at ease. Honestly, if Ye Qing truly let the World Alliance go to the Twelve Green Halls, she naturally couldn’t accept it. But if the World Alliance stayed with the Seven Steering Committees of the Hong Alliance, she’d be displeased too. After all, many people from the Seven Great Families have been targeting the Huangfu Household and Ye Qing, she wouldn’t want Ye Qing to return to the Seven Steering Committees and suffer. Now with Ye Qing’s choice, the World Alliance remains in Shenchuan City but not with the Seven Steering Committees, which seems like the best outcome. This way, she can give Helian Tiehua and the Seven Steering Committees an explanation, and doesn’t have to face those people from the Seven Great Families, making her naturally very happy.

Actually, Ye Qing had been thinking about this idea for a while. The affair with Aolingyun made Ye Qing realize that Helian Tiehua and Huangfu Ziyu might not be able to control the Seven Steering Committees of the Hong Alliance either. With the appearance of those Supreme Elders, the Seven Steering Committees will surely be controlled by those old folks. Who knows if any of those old folks are like Aolingyun. If they all want to target him, then the World Alliance staying with the Seven Steering Committees would be a disaster. Therefore, the World Alliance cannot be located with the Seven Steering Committees of the Hong Alliance.

As for the Twelve Green Halls, Ye Qing would not choose them. First is his relationship with Huangfu Ziyu, making it impossible to choose them. Second, after experiencing many things, he has discovered that the grudges between the Seven Steering Committees and the Twelve Green Halls are not really about who is right or wrong. Instead, both sides have friends of his, making it unsuitable for him to stand on either side. So, the best choice is to remain neutral, neither staying with the Seven Steering Committees nor going to the Twelve Green Halls. As for their own disputes, let them deal with it themselves, and he will remain in the middle, choosing not to help either side.

Seeing that Ye Qing has already chosen a place for the World Alliance to be stationed, the crowd gradually quieted down. Since Ye Qing didn’t choose any of them, but picked a location on his own, there was no need for the crowd to argue about it. For Ye Qing’s decision, the crowd expressed approval.

”Of course...” Ye Qing suddenly glanced at Ding Lianshun and said, ”Brother Ding, you can convey this to the Heavenly Master. If the Twelve Green Halls want to come to Shenchuan City, I can provide some conveniences for you.”

These words shocked everyone present. Ye Qing was inviting the Twelve Green Halls to Shenchuan City, which is a very significant matter. You have to know, Shenchuan City has always been the territory of the Seven Steering Committees of the Hong Alliance. Now Ye Qing is inviting the Twelve Green Halls to settle here, isn’t that deliberately going against the Seven Steering Committees?

Huangfu Ziyu was also a bit surprised, but she didn’t say anything. Since it was Ye Qing’s decision, she naturally supported it unconditionally.

The Seven Steering Committees of the Hong Alliance erupted in anger, with many people shouting, not allowing members of the Twelve Green Halls into Shenchuan City. Some people even expressed dissatisfaction with Ye Qing, especially members of the Seven Great Families, some even threatening to deal with Ye Qing.

This situation made things even more chaotic. People from the World Alliance had just expressed their loyalty, when they heard someone abusing the Alliance Leader. Naturally, they had to react. Shortly after, people from the World Alliance started arguing with those from the Seven Steering Committees. Judging by the situation, if it continued to develop, it might soon escalate into a fight.

Helian Tiehua frowned deeply, earlier Ye Qing hadn’t agreed to Ding Lianshun’s invitation, which had already reassured him. However, now such a thing has happened, completely beyond his expectations. Yet, he isn’t a fool; he can see the reason behind Ye Qing’s actions. Firstly, Ye Qing has decided not to help either side, neither the Seven Steering Committees of the Hong Alliance nor the Twelve Green Halls, maintaining neutrality in this matter. Secondly, Ye Qing deliberately invited the Twelve Green Halls to Shenchuan City explicitly to suppress the Seven Steering Committees of the Hong Alliance.

In fact, Helian Tiehua’s guess was spot-on; Ye Qing deliberately extended an olive branch to the Twelve Green Halls to suppress the Seven Steering Committees of the Hong Alliance. After all, the World Alliance wants to be stationed in Shenchuan City, if the Twelve Green Halls do not come, then in Shenchuan City, it would only be Hong Alliance’s Seven Committee and the World Alliance. At that time, the Seven Steering Committees of the Hong Alliance would definitely interfere in the matters of the World Alliance. But if Ye Qing leads the Twelve Green Halls in, the situation would be different.

Firstly, the power of the Twelve Green Halls is about equal to the Seven Steering Committees of the Hong Alliance. Once they enter Shenchuan City, they would form a triadic power structure. Furthermore, the Twelve Green Halls and the Seven Steering Committees have always been deadlocked enemies. If the Twelve Green Halls also enter Shenchuan City, the Seven Steering Committees of the Hong Alliance will certainly be busy dealing with the Twelve Green Halls, leaving no time to interfere in the affairs of the World Alliance. Similarly, the Twelve Green Halls will also be busy dealing with the Seven Steering Committees, naturally not interfering with the World Alliance. In this situation, with the two major forces opposing each other, the World Alliance will be at ease, without needing to worry about being targeted by any side.

Ye Qing, as the Alliance Leader of the World Alliance, and now that the World Alliance has expanded, naturally needs to consider the Alliance’s welfare. Such a great force must not be exploited by anyone. Whether it is the Seven Steering Committees of the Hong Alliance or the Twelve Green Halls, neither can be allowed to control the World Alliance. Therefore, Ye Qing must make sure that these two forces are too busy with their own matters to deal with the World Alliance.

Upon hearing Ye Qing’s words, Ding Lianshun fell silent for a moment until a man hurriedly came over and whispered a few words in his ear, it was only then that he nodded and said loudly: ”If that’s the case, then thank you, Ye brothers. We’ll go back and pack up, once Ye brothers are ready, we’ll move over immediately!”

Undoubtedly, Ding Lianshun was waiting for the Heavenly Master’s orders. That man must have delivered the Heavenly Master’s orders to him, hence he responded this way. In other words, it was not Ding Lianshun who agreed to go to Shenchuan City, but the Heavenly Master. The Heavenly Master has no relationship with Ye Qing, so it’s obviously not because of Ye Qing that he agreed to go to Shenchuan City. Since he agreed to go to Shenchuan City, it must be to deal with the Seven Steering Committees.

Upon hearing Ding Lianshun’s words, people from the Seven Steering Committees of the Hong Alliance were the first to be unhappy. Zhou Haoyang was the first to jump out, angrily pointing at Ding Lianshun and shouting: ”You, Ding, say you want to enter Shenchuan City, does that mean you can enter Shenchuan City? Shenchuan City is our territory of the Seven Steering Committees of the Hong Alliance, you want to enter, better ask us if we agree or not!”

Ding Lianshun sneered: ”Hmph, there’s no need to ask you! Ye brothers said it’s possible, then it’s possible.”

”Nonsense!” A member of the Bai Family among the Seven Great Families shouted angrily: ”Shenchuan City is our territory of the Seven Steering Committees of the Hong Alliance, not Ye Qing’s territory. His words, what good do they have? We don’t let you in, you can’t get in!”

Hearing these words, people from the World Alliance became dissatisfied and started shouting, the atmosphere seemed to be heading towards a clash with the Seven Steering Committees.

Seeing this situation, Ding Lianshun sneered again, this was exactly the effect they desired. He took a deep breath and suddenly said loudly: ”Is Shenchuan City the territory of the Seven Steering Committees of Hong Alliance? I don’t know if I’m ignorant or my information is blocked, this is the first time I’m hearing such news. As far as I know, Shenchuan City has always been the territory of Ye Qing Ye brothers, and Li Lianshan. Isn’t Shenchuan City supposed to be under the control of Ye brothers and Li Lianshan?”

Upon hearing this, there was an uproar at the scene, several who were aware of the inside story also started shouting: ”Yes, you all currently live in estates that are still the property of Li Lianshan, dare say that’s your domain?”

”Were it not for Alliance Leader Ye giving you the opportunity, letting you enter Shenchuan City, could you have gotten in? Now look, you get in, and bite back saying Shenchuan City is your territory?”

”This is just like Liu Bei borrowing Jingzhou, it never returned. Alliance Leader Ye, in the future when we lend things, better be cautious. Things lent out can’t be returned, but getting bitten back is really intolerable!”

”Today really lets me witness the shamelessness of the Seven Steering Committees of Hong Alliance, interesting, truly interesting!”
