Urban Martial Saint

”Ridiculous, do you think I don’t know what kind of person Wan Yan Zong is?” Yelu Ying shouted, ”Wanyan Hong, if you have the ability, come in and kill me. The people of the Yelu Family will never surrender!”

”Ah, you dare insult Prince Wan Yan!” A man from the Wanyan Family immediately flared up and cursed, ”Bitch, don’t let us catch you. Otherwise, I’ll sew up that foul mouth of yours and show you the methods of the Wanyan Family!”

Ye Qing was about to leave, but hearing this man’s words, he frowned slightly. He originally did not want to get involved in this matter, but with so many people from the Wanyan Family bullying a girl, he couldn’t just walk away and live with his conscience.

After a moment of silence, Ye Qing quietly turned around and returned to the large rock. Hiding in the shadows, he observed the situation. All eight people from the Wanyan Family were focused on the cave, completely unaware of someone behind them.

After confirming the positions of these eight people, Ye Qing calculated in his mind and quietly crept behind them under the cover of night. The Wanyan Family was still exchanging words with Yelu Ying in the cave, not noticing someone approaching from behind.

Ye Qing tore a piece of cloth, wrapped it around his face, and then drew the Wu Hong Dagger given to him by Liu Mubai from his waist; this Wu Hong Dagger was also a famed instrument, extraordinarily sharp.

Gripping the Wu Hong Dagger tightly, Ye Qing took a deep breath, then suddenly sprang out like a cheetah, pouncing right next to the outermost person. Before this person could react, Ye Qing had already covered his mouth while the Wu Hong Dagger in his hand slashed across his throat. The person struggled a few times but couldn’t make a sound, collapsing softly to the ground.

Ye Qing used attack techniques trained in the military, extremely practical in small encounters. Moreover, Ye Qing’s current strength far surpassed before, his speed and power were much stronger, making the attack much easier. His movements were agile and completely silent, and since this person stood on the periphery, no one noticed him. Everyone was busy arguing with the people in the cave, so when Ye Qing took him down, no one detected anything amiss.

With this one move, Ye Qing already gauged the strength of these people, all weaker than him. Even with eight people combined, they were not his match. However, Ye Qing did not get careless; after taking down this person, he quietly moved behind two more and suddenly covered one person’s mouth while slashing the other’s throat in reverse.

That person directly fell to the ground; the sound finally alerted the five in front. As they turned their heads, Ye Qing had already slit another person’s throat.

”Who’s there?” one man shouted loudly.

”Lao Qi! Lao Qi!” another man cried out in shock, likely referring to the person Ye Qing had taken down.

Ye Qing wasted no words, directly charging in like a hungry tiger pouncing on prey. The man in front hurriedly kicked towards Ye Qing, attempting to fend him off. However, his strength paled in comparison to Ye Qing’s. Ye Qing broke his leg bone with a punch while slashing his chest with the dagger. The man fell to the ground screaming.

Wanyan Hong stood closest to the cave entrance. Seeing this situation, his face changed. However, he was visibly more composed. Noticing Ye Qing’s powerful strikes, he immediately shouted, ”Everyone fall back, I’ll take care of this!”

Speaking, Wanyan Hong briskly stepped forward, drawing a longsword, and stabbed towards Ye Qing from afar.

Wanyan Hong’s skill was significantly stronger than the others, but even so, in front of Ye Qing, it wasn’t enough. As the longsword thrust forward, Ye Qing suddenly lunged a step ahead, right into Wanyan Hong’s embrace. Startled, Wanyan Hong quickly tried to retreat, simultaneously raising his hand to strike Ye Qing away.

Ye Qing didn’t dodge at all, taking the punch squarely, while thrusting the dagger into Wanyan Hong’s abdomen. When attacking the Wanyan Family, Ye Qing showed no mercy. After experiencing Prince Wan Yan’s nature, Ye Qing regarded the Wanyan Family as enemies.

Wanyan Hong retreated injured, pointing at Ye Qing with a trembling voice, ”Who... who are you?”

The remaining people, seeing Wanyan Hong hurt, were too scared to attack. Wanyan Hong was the strongest among them, yet had no resistance against Ye Qing; of course, they dared not continue fighting.

Ye Qing coldly eyed Wanyan Hong and the others, sternly saying, ”Get lost!”

”This friend, we are people of the Wanyan Family...” Wanyan Hong gritted his teeth and sternly said, ”Do you really want to oppose the Wanyan Family?”

”Get lost!” Ye Qing raised the Wu Hong Dagger in his hand slowly, sternly saying, ”Or die!”

Wanyan Hong said nothing more. He invoked the Wanyan Family, yet Ye Qing still responded this way, meaning he didn’t regard the Wanyan Family at all. Commanding the remaining people, they lifted the injured and fled in panic.

On this side, watching Wanyan Hong and the others leave, Ye Qing finally turned his head, looked at the cave, and loudly said, ”The Wanyan Family has left, you can come out!”

There was no response from the cave, seemingly the people inside were contemplating the truth of Ye Qing’s words.

Ye Qing did not speak again, turning directly to head back the way he came. He had come this time mainly to find Huangfu Ziyu, and since it wasn’t Huangfu Ziyu, he had no reason to stay longer.

Just as they hadn’t walked far, a voice suddenly came from behind: ”Brother, wait a minute.”

Ye Qing turned his head to see a woman dressed in red silk rushing toward him. This woman, presumably, was Yelu Ying, who had spoken just now.

This woman’s appearance was indeed beautiful, although slightly inferior when compared to Shen Qingyi and Huangfu Ziyu. No wonder Wu Dade praised the beauty of women; her beauty was already rare enough.

Yelu Ying ran to Ye Qing’s side, looking at his masked face with a hint of surprise, and said: ”Brother, thank you for what you did earlier!”

Ye Qing glanced at her, then looked behind at the two people supporting each other as they walked out, and said: ”It was a small matter, no need to thank me.”

After speaking, Ye Qing turned to leave, but Yelu Ying hurriedly stopped him.

”Brother, do you know someone from the Yelu family?” Yelu Ying asked.

”Is there a problem?” Ye Qing responded with a question.

”Not really.” Yelu Ying looked at Ye Qing and continued: ”I’m just curious, why did you help us?”

Ye Qing frowned. Doing a good deed and saving people, yet being asked like this, made him naturally feel a bit uncomfortable.

”Are you suggesting I shouldn’t have saved you?” Ye Qing said in a deep voice.

”I didn’t mean that...” Yelu Ying quickly waved her hand and said: ”It’s just that, brother, your skills are impressive, clearly not an ordinary person. You must be aware of the Wanyan family’s power. By saving us, you are making them a formidable enemy. That’s why I wanted to ask if brother might be an old friend of the Wanyan family.”

Yelu Ying was clearly telling Ye Qing: If we aren’t related, taking the risk of offending the Wanyan family to save us makes one wonder if you have ulterior motives. Obviously, Yelu Ying was a cautious person, even if Ye Qing saved her, she still couldn’t fully trust him.

”I’m not saving you!” Ye Qing said in a deep voice: ”I have a grudge against the Wanyan family.”

”Oh?” A sharp glint flashed in Yelu Ying’s eyes as she scrutinized Ye Qing, seemingly trying to determine whether he was telling the truth.

Ye Qing didn’t want to entangle with her, and said in a deep voice: ”Miss, if there’s nothing else, I’ll be on my way.”

”Wait a moment,” Yelu Ying stopped Ye Qing, saying: ”I haven’t asked for your name, so that the Yelu family might repay you in the future.”

”There’s no need to know my name,” Ye Qing said: ”I acted this time to deal with the Wanyan family, not to save you. So you don’t need to know my name, nor repay me.”

”This...” Yelu Ying was left dumbfounded by Ye Qing’s words, opening her mouth but not knowing what to say.

”Young brother.” At this moment, the two men who were supporting each other from behind came over, and an elder lightly coughed twice and said: ”Our young lady meant no offense, please don’t be angry. No matter what, young brother, you drove away the Wanyan family’s people and saved our lives. The Yelu family will naturally always remember young brother’s life-saving grace.”

The elder’s words finally eased some of Ye Qing’s displeasure. He looked at the blood on the elder’s clothes, was silent for a moment, and said: ”Elder, take my advice, given your current situation, you can’t ascend this mountain anymore. Hurry down the mountain to keep your life intact!”

”Thank you for the reminder, young brother.” The elder nodded and said: ”However, we have more important matters to attend to and can’t go down the mountain yet. After going down the mountain, young brother, please be very careful because the Wanyan family won’t let this matter rest. They mentioned earlier that reinforcements would come, and certainly, they would be experts from the Wanyan family. Though young brother’s skills are remarkable, two fists are no match for many hands, so try to avoid direct confrontation with them!”

The elder’s personality and temper were much better than Yelu Ying’s, which made Ye Qing feel more comfortable. He nodded and suddenly reached out to grab the elder’s wrist.

”What are you doing?” The young man beside the elder changed his expression and wanted to intervene, but was directly stopped by the elder’s hand.

”Don’t be hasty.” The elder stopped the young man beside him, looked at Ye Qing, and smiled: ”Does young brother know some medical skills?”

”I know a little.” Ye Qing grasped the elder’s pulse, diagnosed it carefully for a while, then suddenly reached out to tap several points on the elder’s chest.
