Rebirth: A Cinderella's Counterattack

Chapter 497: Chapter 477: The Dormitory Struggle (Part 16)

”Please get rid of the person who is disturbing our meal. If he won’t leave, we won’t settle the bill. It’s ruining our dining experience,” Zhang Yun pointed at the greasy man standing and said with a look of disgust on her face.

”By the way, I recorded the video of him hitting someone a moment ago. I don’t mind calling the police,” Luo Qianqian added calmly as she finished off.

She lifted her phone, picked up a piece of meat, and stuffed it into her mouth, frowning, ”Really, just seeing this person makes the meat not taste good, too greasy. I feel like I’m about to dine and dash without paying,” she murmured as if talking to herself.

Qin Nuan instantly understood and shared the same look of disgust, ”To encounter sexual harassment even when eating a meal, better not come here again in the future, this place has security issues.”

Cong Rong also chimed in, ”Exactly, even the private room got broken into, and they even hit someone, it’s unbelievable.”

The Lin Family watched amused as the three young girls united in their anger and opposition.

The server looked nervous and took out the walkie-talkie to call for the manager.

The man still didn’t seem to realize what was happening, pointing at Qin Nuan and said, ”Don’t act all high and mighty when I’m showing you favor; you should be grateful...”

Luo Qianqian immediately threw a cup at him, which shattered on the floor in front of the man, spilling the orange juice inside onto his pant leg and shoes.

She climbed over Lin Jiayou, got out from inside, took the scissors that were on the side table used for cutting large pieces of steak, and cut open the man’s white shirt with one snip, her voice cold as she spoke, ”Watch your mouth! Say one more word and see if I don’t cripple you. Do you think scumbags like you can talk about my aunt like that?”

The aura that had been forged through life and death experiences was now unleashed, and Lin Jiayou’s eyes widened in shock as he watched Luo Qianqian.

The scissor tips were pointed at the man’s stomach, ”I am confident I can stab you ten times without hitting anything vital, if you don’t believe it, go ahead and try! I am still a minor, and there is video evidence of you hitting someone, do you want to see which side the law will take?” As she spoke, she pressed the scissor tips forcefully against his stomach, piercing the skin and causing a few Blood Beads to seep out.

Lin Jiayou, feeling a pang of heartache at the sight of Luo Qianqian acting like this, but quickly reacting, scooped her back to her seat, wiped the scissors clean, and held it up against the man’s neck to measure.

Just as this happened, the barbecue restaurant manager appeared at the entrance of the private room and was startled by the scene, hurriedly stepping forward to ask what was going on.

After hearing the server out, the manager frowned and said, ”Sir, please don’t disturb these guests during their meal,” addressing the man.

Upon hearing this, the man’s eyes bulged with shock, ”Do you know who I am?”

Hearing this, Luo Qianqian couldn’t help but want to laugh. What, is your dad Li Gang?

”I really don’t, but sir, I do know that if you continue to stay, these guests here have the right to call the police.” The manager smiled and turned to Luo Qianqian and the others, ”Hello, customers, this table is on the house...”

”No need, my brother is treating us to this meal. We don’t need a freebie because of this scum, it would make us feel sick. But sure, give us a discount if you’d like,” said Luo Qianqian, still composed.

Lin Jiayou felt it appropriate; the good atmosphere of the meal had been ruined.

The infuriated man left with a fling of his hand, dragging Cao Yingying along. Cao Yingying looked at Luo Qianqian with pleading eyes. Seeing her gaze, Luo Qianqian hesitated for a moment but then spoke up, ”Where do you think you’re taking my classmate? Was hitting her here not enough, so you want to take her away to continue?”

After hearing Luo Qianqian’s words, the manager frowned and still blocked the man’s way out, ”I’m sorry, sir, but you cannot take this lady with you.”

”She came with me... Fine, you win,” said the man looking at the manager’s demeanor, and left with a furious gesture.

Because of his fling, Cao Yingying fell to the ground.

Luo Qianqian sighed and still helped her up.

After the manager apologized several times and left, they slowly began to speak, ”Let’s go to the hospital to see how things are; we won’t keep you here any longer.”

Cao Yingying glanced at Luo Qianqian, pursed her lips, turned around, and whispered a ”Thank you” before leaving.

As soon as she was gone, Qin Nuan rose from her seat and hugged Luo Qianqian tightly.

Cong Rong and Zhang Yun also felt touched; what more could they regret when they had such friends?

However, Lin Jiayou frowned as he watched Luo Qianqian, knowing he could never have the same aura she had shown in that instant.

Luo Qianqian chuckled, ”Loosen up a bit; I’m going to be suffocated by your huge boobs!!”

Qin Nuan burst into laughter, but the next second she smacked Luo Qianqian’s butt hard, ”Getting brave, aren’t you, daring to use scissors?” She then turned to look at the scissors in Lin Jiayou’s hand with a look of disgust.

”Don’t come here to eat again. Imagine if you encounter these scissors—how gross. Who knows if there might be parasites?” Luo Qianqian pouted and then muttered quietly, ”How come I feel like I can’t even eat my food after saying that?”

”Then let’s not eat,” Lin Jiayou said carelessly.

Then he saw Luo Qianqian grinning, ”Shouldn’t you be doing something now?”

Lin Jiayou was momentarily stunned, then looked at his sister’s smiling eyes and, feeling helpless, handed his phone to Zhang Yun, ”Beautiful, may I have your number? As an older brother, I have to set a good example for my sister, don’t I?”

Zhang Yun just snorted with laughter. Luo Qianqian needs an example? She does whatever comes to her mind.

After taking the phone, she entered her number and handed it back to Lin Jiayou. Without even thinking, he dialed the number and only hung up once he heard Zhang Yun’s phone ring, ”Is your Zhang the one with an archer or the one that rises early? And Yun—is it the cloud or the ’Yun’ from the masses?”

”The archer Zhang, the ’Yun’ from the masses,” Zhang Yun raised an eyebrow and also took out her phone, ”Is your Lin the one with two trees or the one from the Prime Minister? Which ’Jia’ are you—from commendation, family, or good gadgets? And which ’You’?”

”Two trees Lin, commendation, protection—Lin Jiayou,” Lin Jiayou curled his lips, liking the girl’s character.

”Hey, why didn’t I ever realize Brother Jiayou’s name had such a nice meaning?” Luo Qianqian covered her mouth and giggled, then looked at Qin Nuan, ”Are you and Cong Rong going to my place this weekend? I wonder if he will...”

Qin Nuan cheekily blinked, ”Oh? Is your great-aunt there?”

Luo Qianqian spoke without words, ”Can I ask the elders to avoid it?”

”Forget about it. What are you free for? Aren’t you supposed to go to my second brother’s place this weekend?” Qin Nuan gave a resigned look, ”Speaking of which, isn’t your third brother...”

”Ah, right, if third brother drives me back to the dorm, it should be fine.” Luo Qianqian smacked her forehead in realization.

Lin Jiayou knew this third brother was a relative from Luo Qianqian’s father’s side, and remembering the entrustment from An Zilan and Lin Xu, he pursed his lips, ”Qianqian, can I join you guys for fun this weekend, too?”

Luo Qianqian turned around and gave Zhang Yun a mischievous smile, ”Sure, oh and tonight I won’t get food to take back, you can bring it on Friday? Bring it back for my grandparents to try my godmother’s signature dishes. It’s the perfect opportunity to introduce you to my grandfather—he’s so much better than yours.” Luo Qianqian wore a look of triumph.

Lin Jiayou was startled; he hadn’t expected Luo Qianqian to take him to the Luo family’s home.

Luo Qianqian curved her lips. Even if she didn’t bring him, the Luo family would surely know about what happened at noon; it was probably already on Second Uncle’s desk. Besides, this was her mother’s son, her own brother; there was no reason to exclude him.
