Strongest Lord by Opening Blind Boxes

Chapter 222: Chapter 195: The Invader Team

Luan Bu and his group descended upon Typhon World with the pure mindset of invaders.

Descending wasn’t an easy task. If they didn’t reap massive rewards, it would essentially be a loss.

And how were they to reap massive rewards? By plundering, of course!

The twelve of them quickly gathered. They had flying devices of their own—a type of hoverboard they could stand on to fly steadily.

Luan Bu also deployed a massive spaceship that looked like a mechanical squid.

The ship was named the [Black Squid Battleship]. It possessed an intelligent control system and followed behind Luan Bu and his group, its eight tentacles swaying gently.

Luan Bu didn’t board the Black Squid Battleship. Instead, he adjusted the direction of his hoverboard, scanning the surroundings. The Black Crystal Spaceship was already long gone.

”Damn it, that ship still got away!” Luan Bu frowned, then barked at a Player in green robes beside him, ”Ruan Saint, initiate a world scan! Find the strongest Player territory on this continent and lock in a target for us to plunder!”

”Already on it!”

A translucent information window appeared in front of the green-robed Player named Ruan Saint. He said, ”I’ve gathered some preliminary data on the current world. Below us is the Eastern Continent, within the borders of the Golden Sparrow Country. There are three relatively strong Player territories here: one is called Huaguo Mountain, another is Southern Heaven City, and the last is Beimang Pass. The local Indigenous People’s faction is the Golden Sparrow Country. Their national power is rated as average, but their capital has a hundred thousand Forbidden Army soldiers!”

”As expected of a World Observer, your Professional Skills are powerful!” Luan Bu said. ”A hundred thousand soldiers is nothing to scoff at. We probably can’t take the Golden Sparrow Country’s capital. What’s the situation with those three Player territories?”

Ruan Saint replied, ”Huaguo Mountain has fewer than three thousand residents. Southern Heaven City has two hundred thousand troops, and Beimang Pass has an army of three hundred thousand!”

”Then if Huaguo Mountain has fewer than three thousand residents, why did it show up on your information panel?”

”Perhaps its resource score or construction score is higher. Let me check its real-time resources now, hold on...”

Ruan Saint performed a quick action, and a resource list appeared on the information panel before him.

”Huh, this Huaguo Mountain territory’s total Gold Coins currently amount to less than 180,000! It has a good amount of high-level resources, though. Xuan Iron, not bad! Python Pattern Iron, also not bad!”

”Check their real-time resident status!”

”Okay!”

Ruan Saint acted again, and the information panel before him updated with character data.

”According to the system’s data, this Huaguo Mountain has quite a few talented individuals. Right now, there’s one ’red light’ character with Five Skills named Hu Miaosuan, a Four Skills character named Xiang Yun, a Military Governor named Nangong Jin, a Governor named Wadu, and other relatively strong people like Qin Mo and Jelena Wang!”

”Are there any King Level combat units?”

”None!”

”Now check for beauties! We’re all men here, no need to be coy. Have the system rank them by appearance score!”

”Okay, the info is refreshed! Age 16 and over, the number one beauty is Yuan Yao with a score of 96. Number two is Liu Qin with 95. Number three is Pei Xue, she’s only an 82. Number four is Yang Qingxiu, with 80! Anyone below that isn’t worth mentioning!”

”Two of them actually have scores over 90, not bad, not bad at all!” Luan Bu nodded. ”Alright, we’ll make Huaguo Mountain our target. Ruan Saint, lead the way! Everyone, prepare to plunder!”

”Yes!”

All the Players responded in unison. Then, the group flew straight toward Huaguo Mountain.

Meanwhile, on Huaguo Mountain, the people were completely unaware of the impending arrival of visitors from the sky, each busy with their own tasks.

Before long, the Black Squid Battleship arrived in the sky above Huaguo Mountain. It hovered there, several thousand meters above the ground.

Luan Bu and his group flew toward Huaguo Mountain on their hoverboards. They gathered together, chatting as they looked down.

Among the 12, a bearded Player said, ”This territory isn’t half bad. Are those all peach trees down there? Lots of buildings, and they’ve even built proper roads!”

”It does look pretty good. It all depends on whether the Lord down there cooperates or not. If they play along, we’ll take a little less. If they don’t, we’ll clean them out, have our fun, then burn the whole mountain down and wipe this territory off the map!”

”Do we move together or split up?”

”Together. Let’s take down that building in the center first!”

Luan Bu pointed down, his finger aimed directly at the Military Affairs Office building.

With their target set, the twelve of them dove down sharply. Suddenly, a thumb-thick bolt of lightning shot toward them, causing them to scatter in alarm.

”Warning. This is Huaguo Mountain. Unauthorized entry is prohibited. Please depart immediately, or you will be responsible for the consequences!”

The voice was Wadu’s. The alarm reached the ears of Luan Bu and his group, and it also blanketed the area below, allowing Jelena in the Eggshell Castle and Nangong Jin in the Octagonal Cage to hear it.

But the 12 people in the sky paid no attention to Wadu’s warning. A large man on a hoverboard flew toward Wadu. Grinning, he pulled a Hand Axe from his back and hurled it directly at the source of the voice.

The Hand Axe left his hand, spinning rapidly and glowing with a white light, looking quite extraordinary.

Wadu was shocked. It dodged the Hand Axe and immediately issued a much louder warning: ”Alert! Alert! Attention all residents of the territory: We are under attack!”

At the same time, Wadu fired a Radium Light Beam, attacking the Player who had thrown the Hand Axe.

The Player was on a hoverboard, but his movements were nimble. He seemed to have locked onto Wadu, closing in on it rapidly.

The other eleven continued toward the Military Affairs Office building.

In the Octagonal Cage, Nangong Jin looked up at the sky. He frowned and shouted, ”We’re under attack! The fighting tournament is suspended! All Soldiers, on my command! Follow me to slay the enemy!”

Inside the Eggshell Castle, Jelena strode quickly and shouted, ”Who dares launch a surprise attack? Men, follow me to slay the enemy!”
