King of the Wilderness

Chapter 760: Chapter 350: Beneteau Oceanis 45

It was a large, beautifully streamlined modern ocean-going yacht.

Its hull was nearly twice as long as the Wanderer, reaching 45 feet (nearly 14 meters), and its broad body gave it a majestic presence as steady as Mount Tai.

The towering single mast was like a silver sword piercing the azure sky, with a complex rigging system reflecting a metallic sheen in the morning light.

The wide teak deck, meticulously maintained, shone with a warm golden luster, perfectly complementing the pure white hull and deep blue ocean water.

The massive folding swimming platform at the stern was currently leveled with the water, like a private waterfront terrace, with several steps elegantly extending into the sea.

On the side of the hull, its name was written in beautiful blue lettering—”Polaris.”

This was Mike Montgomery’s pride and joy. He had sailed it across the Atlantic, and it once carried the young Riven learning to star-gaze off the coast of Florida.

This ship carried the proudest memories of an old captain.

”Good morning, Captain Lin.” Mike said as Lin Yu’an approached, for the first time adding the title of ”Captain” before his name, though his tone still carried a hint of testing.

”Welcome to your new ride—at least for the next 72 hours, it’s yours.”

Lin Yu’an’s gaze was deeply captivated by this boat. If the Wanderer was a go-kart for honing skills,

then the ”Polaris” before him was a luxury sports car, perfectly combining performance and comfort, ready for a global journey at any moment.

”It’s beautiful.” Lin Yu’an genuinely praised, feeling the owner’s dedication from the perfectly painted hull to every shiny stainless steel bolt.

”She’s not just beautiful,” Mike’s voice was filled with paternal pride.

”She’s also strong and reliable, a Beneteau Oceanis 45. I personally supervised its construction process in France, selecting all configurations at the highest level. Come on, let’s get aboard and feel it.”

Lin Yu’an took out his live streaming equipment, knowing that the upcoming content would be the most anticipated segment for all viewers.

The live stream began, and the waiting fans flooded in instantly.

”Good morning, everyone.” Lin Yu’an pointed the camera toward the majestic yacht behind him. ”As you can see, starting today, our learning location has upgraded.”

The comments section exploded.

[Whoa!!!!!! Trading up! What level of boat is this?!]

[45 feet! My God, this is practically a mobile ocean penthouse! It’s much bigger than yesterday’s training boat!]

[This looks! This presence! This truly suits our Captain Lin! So impressive!]

Riven was already waiting onboard, dressed particularly neatly today in a professional long-sleeved sun-protective shirt and fitted shorts, accentuating her athletic figure.

”Alright, stop standing there like a country boy visiting the city for the first time.”

She waved at the camera, her smile blossoming like a flower. ”Welcome aboard Polaris. Today, I’ll be your guide, taking everyone on a complete tour!”

She picked up a portable stabilizer, and like a host of a professional real estate show, led the live broadcast camera to start this astonishing luxury sea home tour.

”This is the cockpit,” she pointed to the spacious open area at the stern.

”See these two steering wheels? We call it a dual helm. This design allows the captain to always stand on the high side, even when the vessel is leaning at a large angle, ensuring the best view and control.”

She pointed to the multifunction display between the wheels, ”In the middle is the top-of-the-line Raisonnad navigation system, integrating a GPS chart plotter, radar, automatic pilot, sonar, and all navigation data of the boat. Lin, this is your workstation from now on, where all your decisions will be made.”

She descended a few steps leading to the cabin, revealing a space far more spacious and bright than anyone imagined.

Thanks to the massive side windows and skylights, the entire cabin was filled with bright natural light.

She introduced a beige U-shaped surround leather sofa that could seat seven or eight people and a delicate wooden dining table that could be raised or lowered.

”And here is the salon, our living and dining room.”

”Beside is the L-shaped kitchen, with a double-door fridge sufficient to store a week’s worth of food; a three-burner gas stove with gimbal, keeping it level even when the boat rocks.”

”There’s also an oven, microwave, and ice maker. On a scorching day at sea, there’s nothing more delightful than a glass of rum filled with ice.”

[Poverty has limited my imagination! This kitchen is bigger than my house! And a gimbal stove?]

[They have a fridge, an oven, an ice maker? This isn’t sailing; it’s moving a five-star hotel onto the sea!]

”There are three bedrooms on the ship, two guest rooms at the stern. Then, there’s this...” Riven opened a door at the bow.

”The captain’s room, also known as the master bedroom, has a comfortable island-style double bed with aisles on both sides so you don’t have to crawl around like on a small boat.”

”A separate wardrobe and its own air-conditioning vent, and most importantly, an independent bathroom with a hot shower.”

This completely private luxury space ignited the comment section again.

[I announce, I want to live on this boat! Who’s in favor, who’s against?]
