This Doctor Is Too Wealthy

Chapter 202: 202 Hot Extreme Madness

Less than a minute later, the Emergency Doctor’s Mobile phone received a notification. When he opened it, he not only saw Du Heng’s resume but also a photo. The Emergency Doctor compared the picture to Du Heng, asked for Du Heng’s ID card to verify, and finally eased his worry. He then found a medicine bottle and poured the powder medicine into it.

”Doctor Du, will this medicine really work?”

”Absolutely.”

At this moment, Du Heng had to give the Emergency Doctor confidence. He was not only doing it for the girl called Xiao Ying but also for his niece. If this situation causes an emotional disturbance in my niece, affecting her exam, I’ll be furious enough to curse. Similarly, he also understood the Emergency Doctor’s caution. This was medicine; if something went wrong, it could be disastrous for everyone. This was a test of human nature. A selfish person would have driven you away without even asking for confirmation, no matter who you were.

After packing the medicine, the Emergency Doctor put the bottle into his pocket. ”Doctor Du, shall we go down?”

”Let’s go.”

The two of them opened the ambulance door and walked down together. When they reached Xiao Ying’s side, the Emergency Doctor whispered a few words to the policeman nearby. He then took a bottle of water and started to give Xiao Ying the medication. The policeman to whom he had whispered had already moved to Du Heng’s side.

Du Heng couldn’t help but smile bitterly, gaining a new understanding of the doctor’s caution. But is there really a need to guard me so closely? Even Wang Shuqiu and I haven’t been this close in this weather. It’s way too hot!

Fortunately, a minute after being given the medicine, Xiao Ying let out a long belch and then slowly opened her eyes. Everyone present knew what Du Heng and the Emergency Doctor had done inside the vehicle and that the medicine in the Emergency Doctor’s hand was a hushed matter. It was something they all tacitly understood but would not voice. Now, seeing the girl awaken, everyone looked at Du Heng in amazement. They had been busy for seven or eight minutes without any effect. But with just two mouthfuls of the simple powder mixed with mineral water, she awakened? How miraculous!

When the policeman had moved closer, Du Heng hadn’t moved. It’s a bit hot, but I’d better not cause any misunderstanding. If this policeman takes me down and pins me to the ground, I’ll die of embarrassment! Now that the immediate concern had passed, Du Heng finally moved a little distance away from the policeman, escaping the human furnace, and smiled back at him. ”Brother, it’s too hot. Can we keep a little distance, please?”

The policeman also grinned, but he didn’t regret his earlier actions.

After another minute or two, Xiao Ying was able to stand up completely and was fully conscious. However, the after-effects of fainting were still evident. She looked very uncomfortable, holding her forehead in one hand, her nose wrinkled.

The Emergency Doctor turned to Du Heng and asked softly, ”Doctor Du, do you have any good solutions?” He completely trusted Du Heng now, which was why he asked such a question.

Du Heng took a step closer, observed Xiao Ying’s condition, and then said very casually, ”It’s fine. She can go to the exam hall now. There are still twenty minutes until the exam begins, and her symptoms will subside by then. When you get to the classroom, don’t move around; just sit and rest. Drink a bottle of water slowly, one small sip at a time, finishing it within two hours. Don’t gulp it down.” He then looked at the Emergency Doctor. ”Give her a small bottle of glucose to alleviate the nausea and vomiting caused by electrolyte imbalance.”

”Alright.” This time, the Emergency Doctor did not hesitate.

Xiao Ying was helped by a nurse through the school gate. Du Xuejing, who was waiting at the entrance, happily greeted her and gave Du Heng a thumbs-up. However, Du Heng still needed to cooperate with the Emergency Doctor to complete some paperwork. The administration of medicine between them couldn’t be seen by others, but they had to keep proper records.

Having gone through this incident together, they were like ”comrades-in-arms.” While filling out the forms, they started chatting. As they chatted, they realized they had something in common.

”My goodness, Doctor Du, weren’t you the one who saved a patient hit in the head by a house beam in April?”

”Yes, from Shang Ling Village. His name should be Zhang Xi.”

The Emergency Doctor laughed heartily. ”Brother, you’re one of us! Thanks to your treatment, Zhang Xi’s life was extended by half an hour. Otherwise, he would have been gone.”

Du Heng also laughed but said modestly, ”That was mainly because your Municipal First Hospital provided timely treatment. It had little to do with me.”

”Don’t say that. You didn’t see the situation. Our Director, Zhou Yixian, was almost scared to death.”

With this connection, on top of today’s events, the Emergency Doctor was thoroughly convinced of Du Heng’s medical skills. The two of them chatted and laughed as they completed all the forms.

Just as they were about to chat more, they saw a teacher run frantically out of the school. When the teacher reached the school gate, the anxious and panicked expression on their face was clear. ”Doctor, Doctor, there’s a student inside who has gone berserk!”

Du Heng exchanged glances with the Emergency Doctor. The exam hasn’t even started yet, and now there’s another one? And gone berserk?

The Emergency Doctor and a nurse grabbed the first aid kit and ran towards the school. After running a few steps, the Emergency Doctor suddenly stopped, turned his head, and looked at Du Heng. ”Dean Du, why don’t you come with us and take a look?”

Du Heng hesitated for only a second before immediately saying, ”Alright, let’s go take a look together.” As he was leaving, Du Heng told Wang Shuqiu to head back first and not wait for him, then immediately followed them.

The group ran quickly and entered the School Infirmary. Inside, several male teachers were struggling to restrain a shirtless boy. The boy was still struggling and twisting, resisting with all his might.

”What’s going on?” The moment the Emergency Doctor entered the room, he rushed to the boy’s side.

A woman nearby, who seemed to be an invigilator, was quite flustered. ”I don’t know what happened. I was in the classroom checking their identity cards and ID cards when he suddenly jumped up, started screaming, and ran around like he was crazy. He even took off his clothes while running. Invigilating teachers from the next classroom heard the commotion, and along with some students, they managed to restrain him. Otherwise, he would have run upstairs.”

”Have you contacted his parents?”

Just as he finished asking, a man wearing glasses hurried in. After glancing at the struggling child on the bed, he quickly said, ”I’m Wang Zeyang’s father. What’s wrong with my child?”

The child was struggling too violently for the Emergency Doctor to examine him. Hearing the father, he quickly asked, ”Does your child have a history of epilepsy or any other mental disorders?”

”No, he’s just under a lot of stress from studying.”

”Has he never had a similar episode before?”

”No, never, not since he was little.”

”Is there any family history of epilepsy or other such genetic diseases on your side or his mother’s side?”

The boy’s father looked at his struggling child with an anxious and heartbroken expression but still said patiently, ”No, neither my family nor his mother’s has any such history. Doctor, please stop asking questions. Hurry up and save my child!”

”Don’t worry, we will do our best to treat your child, but you also need to cooperate with us.”

At this moment, Du Heng had joined in restraining the student.
