Emperor’s Domination

Meanwhile, Li Qiye was trapped in the heavenly scale. None thought he could escape since his opponent was himself.

Golden Law heaved a sigh of relief. At the very least, he could keep Li Qiye occupied for a long period.

“Pop!” However, golden light erupted from the scale and Li Qiye walked out without a fight. It appeared as simple as walking down the stair.

“How can this be?!” Golden Law couldn’t believe his eyes.

The final judgment was delivered by Li Qiye himself. This meant not even a let-go immortal can get away.

“Sir, how did you do it?” He had to ask.

“As you know, I personally crafted this. There was no cheating.” Li Qiye smiled.

“Of course, I have no doubt you carried out your promise without leaving any hidden card behind.” He said.

“I appreciate your praise.” Li Qiye chuckled.

“You chose to follow the agreement despite knowing what I will do. What I don’t understand is how you made it out? You didn’t defeat yourself.” He continued.

“Tell me the reason for your scale’s existence.” Li Qiye said.

He took a deep breath and said: “The golden laws exist for living beings. The scale is for the existence of cultivators.”

“Laws for mortals, the scale is for immortals.” Li Qiye smiled: “Or at least a cultivator on the scale. Therefore, the scale exists to balance mortals and immortals. Thus, a mortal body does not need to be judged under your belief.”

“I see, but you are a true immortal as well. What are you, exactly?” He asked.

“I’m just me, a passerby.” Li Qiye smiled.

“I understand my defeat then, looks like I was just a frog under the well, worrying way too much.” He said: “I leave this world to you then.”

“To the living beings, not me.” Li Qiye smiled.

“It appears I no longer need to exist.” He bowed and said: “Goodbye, Sir.”

Having said that, he scattered into particles. The scale also dispersed as well.

“Death when the time is right.” Li Qiye sighed before turning his attention elsewhere: “Time to stop.”

He flicked his finger and crushed the layer of light created by Heavencrush, sending it flying.

“Ahh!” Meanwhile, Phoenix Queen and the others bellowed as their tribulations reached the limit, forming a great ocean.

“Apocalypse!” They shouted and released the tribulations just like the high heaven did.

While everyone fell into despair, Li Qiye raised his hand and grasped all facets of the world, the tribulations included. The ocean became caught in his net.

Phoenix Queen’s group couldn’t believe it.

“Perpetual Apocalypse!” She reacted first and opened her wings. She turned into the high heaven ready to destroy everything.

She teleported above Li Qiye and conjured an eternal spear to pierce his head.

“Whoosh!” Octopus’ eight tentacles wrapped around Li Qiye like eight rivers of time. Speed was not enough to escape since it would be moving from one end to another.
