Emperor’s Domination

The woman had a playful expression despite being surrounded by majestic golden laws. Her imposing aura distracted from her bright and fiery beauty. Her imperial aura had melted into her dao harmonization and the golden laws.

“What should I call you?” She tilted her head and smiled, looking unrestrained and natural.

“You tell me.” Li Qiye smiled.

“Narcissist or Ego King? Or maybe Young Noble?” She said while playing with her fingers.

“Just a name, whatever you want.” Li Qiye said.

“Ego King then.” She smiled.

“Why not?” He played along.

“Are you here to visit me, Ego King?” She happily jumped on him and hugged his waist.

“Not necessarily.” He flicked her lovely nose.

“Oh? Don’t make me suppress you.” She said.

“With what?” He asked.

“Anything? I have a hundred, a thousand methods to do so.” She said.

“You were obedient back in the nine worlds, it’ll be the same here.” He shook his head.

“Hmph, I’ve improved dramatically.” She pouted.

“Of course, our Emperor Ye is no longer a little girl. She is Immortal Ye now.” He joked.

“Not just Immortal Ye, I am Lord Ye who will crush you.” She wrapped around him like an octopus, not wanting to let go.

She was none other than Ye Xiaoxiao whose attachment to Li Qiye only strengthened with time.

“Yes, Lord Xiaoxiao.” Li Qiye lay down on the clouds.

She lay on top of him and said: “See, I’m suppressing you now, admit defeat.”

“This feels dirty.” He joked.

“Bah, whatever, I’m still on top.” She turned red but didn’t get up.

“You’re a big girl now.” He smiled and stroked her hair.

“Of course, I am the lord of a world.” She said.

“The old man passed it down to you, impressive.” He said.

“He leaves a lot to be desired, but this world is nice, so I want to contribute.” She said.

“It is a good world, but this might not be good for you.” He said.

“Why not?” She stared at his face.

“It’s a heavy burden and you’re chosen.” He placed his hand on her shoulder.

“I should have refused?” She asked.

“That’s a question only you can answer.” He smiled.

“I felt that I should do something, but I didn’t wish to fight and kill. Plus, I wasn’t alone, a little girl you tricked was also here.” She said.

“Who did I trick?” He smiled.

“She came everywhere looking for you and was unsafe with that thing on her, so I took her in for protection.” She explained.

“I suppose it is nice to do something you like, it’s just that it’s a lot of responsibility.” He said.

“Just like you, no?” She said.

“Not for long.” He smiled.

“Hmph, if you can do it, so can I. My burden isn’t as heavy either.” She said.

“Of course you can.” He nodded before remarking: “The calamity is coming.”

“Yes, am I not preparing? This barrier will last.” She said.

“What if it doesn’t?” He asked.

“Watch your unlucky mouth.” She glared at him: “Well, if it doesn’t last, then I’ll go down with this world since it is under my watch. Isn’t that what you taught me, to persevere?”

“Yes, I’m proud of all of you.” He said sentimentally.

“And I’ve never let you down, Ego King. I will do a great job to the very end.” She raised her fist.

“You can go very far due to your innocent heart. Although the old man had ulterior motives, he picked right.” He said.

“What are you up to now?” She asked.

“It’s time for me to carry out karma, what I should do.” He said.

“Whenever you say something like this, nothing good comes next.” She said.

“Not good for me or others?” He smiled.

“For others, but I don’t care about them, only my Ego King.” She said.

“Then I’ll be fine.” He said.

“Good.” She leaned her head into his chest, closing her eyes.

After a long time, she whispered: “I miss you.”

He patted her head and sighed.

“You will leave soon?” She asked.

“Yes.” He answered.

“By yourself?” She asked again.

“Who knows? But the dao is ultimately lonely.” He said.

“Are you going to die if you stop and wait for us a little bit?” She asked.

“I won’t, but many will. This pond can’t handle such a big fish, the others will die.” He said.

This prompted her to hug him tighter.

“I’ll miss you a lot, Ego King.” She whispered intimately.
