Emperor’s Domination

“You can’t break through Imperial League, let alone judge it.” Goldblade smiled.

Heavenpray turned red and scowled, unable to do anything to Goldblade.

“This is Heavenpray Monarch, self-proclaimed of the righteous path?” Alch-deer stared curiously.

“That’s him.” Goldblade said.

Heavenpray ranked eighth among the nine and had seven sacred fruits. The gap between him and Black Wind made others think of Black Wind having the spot due to his connection alone.

Calling Heavenpray a villain wasn’t quite accurate. He just had something off about him since his youth. He believed he was the righteous dao and judged others as sinners.

He yearned for heavenly tribulations to punish sinners. Despite being a madman, he somehow became a desolate god with seven fruits.

Being insane and successful with cultivation wasn’t rare. The problem was he didn’t change his way.

Once, he descended on the mortal world and judged all inhabitants in three kingdoms. He considered them as sinners and sent down lightning bolts, obliterating everyone.

This angered Desolate Frontier, resulting in a hunt. He wanted to judge Desolate Frontier but was powerless to do so. Ultimately, he ran and hid in Isles of Evil, starting his sect.

“Who are you two?” He asked Alch-deer and Li Qiye.

“Fellow daoists from Desolate Frontier.” Goldblade replied.

“Desolate Frontier’s spawns?!” Heavenpray’s eyes turned red, akin to a judge eager to deliver a sentence.

“Sinners, state your crimes!” Lightning beams surged out of his eyes like waterfalls.

“Enough!” Goldblade swung his saber and dispelled the lightning bolts.

“What are you doing?” Heavenpray didn’t appreciate it.

“Enjoy your dream while the fog is still here instead of being rude to my guests. I will kill you.” Goldblade said.

“Hmph, one day, you will receive the righteous judgment for being a mass-murderer bandit.” Heavenpray mumbled.

“Say this again when you can beat me.” Goldblade didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.

A seven-fruit desolate god stood no chance against the half-step apex emperor. Normally, the former wouldn’t dare to open their mouth but Heavenpray was a unique case.

“Just wait, justice never fails to persecute.” Heavenpray said.

Goldblade chuckled and didn’t mind the rambling of a madman.

“A mental disorder.” Li Qiye shook his head and walked away.

“What did you say?! Brat, let the righteous path judge you!” Heavenpray shouted and summoned lightning bolts again.

Goldblade glared at him while patting the saber.

Heavenpray immediately stopped and shouted: “Just wait, sinners will never get away, the lightning will strike you down to hell for eternity!”

After the group left the peak, Alch-deer said: “I’ve never seen a desolate god like him, so crazy.”

His conduct was crazy but he was rather lucid. There was nothing deficient regarding his intelligence.

“Who knows, that’s why he’s a villain here.” Goldblade shrugged.

“That’s true, all the villains here have one flaw or another.” Alch-deer said.

“What is yours?” Li Qiye asked Goldblade.

Goldblade took a second before answering: “I always thinking of robbing and stealing. If I see a nice place, my hands start to itch right away. Well, it’s not a flaw. I was a bandit and still am a bandit despite being an emperor, I never forgot my original pursuit.”

“You’re almost like him, both of you have mental issues, albeit different ones.” Li Qiye patted his shoulder and said.

“No, no.” Goldblade said: “I only rob occasionally. He always tries to do it while thinking of himself as the righteous dao.”

“He’s at the end stage, you’re intermediate.” Li Qiye said.

Goldblade could only murmur his complaint, unable to raise his saber against Li Qiye.

“Among you nine, some deserve death while others only have some bad habits.” Alch-deer said.

“As if you desolate gods and emperors don’t deserve death for previous massacres.” Goldblade responded.

“I can’t deny this.” Alch-deer said: “I am as much of a sinner as you, but Nine-cries, Ghost Noble, and Ravenous Wolf God are irredeemable.”

Goldblade paused for a moment after hearing this.

“That’s why just let my ancestor go to work. Your best choice right now is to pick a side clearly before he obliterates the whole region.” Alch-deer said.

Goldblade glanced at Li Qiye but couldn’t read his expression.

“We nine villains don’t have strong ties.” Goldblade said.

“It’s best to keep it that way.” Alch-deer warned him out of kindness.
