Emperor’s Domination

Tenth-gen Chen’s forefather? The revelation shocked everyone.

“First-gen Chen?” One expert said without confidence.

“First-gen Chen.” The others agreed with this.

“Impossible!” However, Tenth-gen Chen blurted.

As a successor, he understood the legacy process more than anyone else. The process started with First-gen Chen who created the blood lake.

At the start, the lake didn’t have blood. First-gen Chen fused his dao with the lake and used the mother reborn tree as a conduit.

It required sacrifices to fulfill the unreasonable life force requirement. Thus, the first to be sacrificed was none other than First-gen Chen.

He was different from ordinary disciples. The latter were weak so after the ceremonial act, their flesh and blood would fuse with the lake.

First-gen Chen was different. He used his blood to fill the whole lake and gestated it with his power, grand dao, and memories.

The second generation was a chosen disciple just like Ten-realm Emperor. He entered the lake and let the liquid melt everything for a recraft. Through this process, he inherited everything from the previous generation.

This was why they kept growing stronger, stacking one generation after another. Finally, Tenth-gen Chen caught up to Everlasting Jiang.

They believed the stage of immortality was possible after one hundred generations. This was their greatest ambition and hope.

Thus, First-gen Chen was no longer present since every fiber of his being fused with the lake. For Tenth-gen Chen, one could make the argument that First-gen Chen was alive within him.

However, Li Qiye was not talking about this.

“Must I dig you out? Come on out.” Li Qiye said calmly but his will left no room for resistance.

“Rumble!” The area shook violently with a focus at the bottom of the lake.

Cracks appeared and grew larger. Blood rays oozed from the cracks and illuminated the sky. These rays were different from anything seen before.

The previous ones from Centurial Peak and the lake had a nasty stench of blood. These were brilliant and warm, akin to the glow of a priceless gem. Spectators couldn’t help but be captivated.

Once a crack was large enough, they saw the source of the blood rays and found it to be holy and primal. Within the radiance was a coffin carved from precious jade.

Everyone was shocked to see this, Tenth-gen Chen included. At this time, the supreme will released him so he was free to stand up to take a closer look.

As the newest inheritor, he was the key to the legacy process. He knew all of the Chen’s secrets after inheriting the memories.

Moreover, he spent most of his time cultivating in this blood lake. He never imagined there was a coffin being gestated beneath the lake.

He was overwhelmed and didn’t know how to feel. He had meditated on top of this coffin for eras while having zero idea.

“Creak…” The lid slowly opened and a middle-aged man walked out.

He possessed endless life force - one equal to millions of lives combined. Moreover, he had an air of transcendence as if he was above the mortal world.
