Emperor’s Domination

“I’ll cut it off now if you don’t lead the way.” Li Qiye said with a casual and friendly tone.

Nevertheless, Black Wind felt a chill by his neck. He swallowed his saliva and said: “I,I’ll do it. Please don’t be hasty, great immortal.”

He knew he had no chance of survival against Li Qiye. At the very least, he would survive a bit longer leading the way. If he could make it past the initial trouble, his uncle could help him against the other villains.

“Don’t worry, it’s not a difficult task.” Alch-deer smiled.

Black Wind led the duo into the region. They were greeted by a ferocious murderous aura, capable of grinding anything down.

“Powerful.” Alch-deer was surprised.

Black Wind was proud of this and laughed: “It’s a formation refined by our Heavenly Crane ancestor, channeling the powers of this sea into the immortal peak, it’s unstop-”

Li Qiye raised his hand and dispelled the aura like removing a loose thread.

“Uhh...” Black Wind’s gloating smile disappeared, unable to brag any longer.

“Next time you want to brag, find the right person instead of Desolate Frontier. It’s not easy to impress us.” Alch-deer patted his shoulder.

Black Wind turned red but the guy was right. Although Desolate Ancestor and Everlasting Jiang were no longer around, this behemoth remained strong. Its resources and foundation were second to none in Old World.

“Our Heavenly Crane is a primal ancestor too.” He murmured, wanting to get some face back.

Millions of sects prospered in Old World but only a selected number had primal ancestors. Their isles had one primal ancestor and one heaven-slayer, enough to contend against anyone except the behemoths.

“I heard about his legend, how he survived a hit from Staff Ancestor. If he didn’t come across the so-called immortal peak, he wouldn’t be around right now.” Alch-deer said.

Black Wind didn’t dare to bark back after hearing the title, Staff Ancestor. Not to mention them, even their ancestor was afraid of this cultivator.

Heavenly Crane was a brilliant genius, the founder of Isles of Evil. The region already existed with mystical properties, but he was the one who excavated it.

During his youth, he was more talented than the disciples of Desolate Frontier, Seventy-two Skyraiser Sect, and Immortal Gate.

He studied at Orchid Academy and became known as the most talented student. He was not satisfied and joined Sacred Mountain, achieving the same reputation.

After leaving Sacred Mountain, he progressed into the primal realm all by himself - the youngest of that era.

Later on, he made a terrible decision. Perhaps there was something wrong with his head or this was normal for a primal ancestor. He fancied a female emperor and wanted her for yin cultivation.

She refused and escaped his wrath. This infuriated him so he refined her kingdom, turning the inhabitants into vengeful specters.

Unfortunately for him, she had a secret identity - the niece of Staff Ancestor’s aunt. She used an unknown method and made it to Heaven World to find Staff Ancestor.

The ancestor was livid to hear the story and threw her staff down to Old World. It obliterated his body, leaving only a remnant soul behind.

However, he was fortunate in that he was cultivating on a peak known as Immortal Seek. This special area prevented his soul from dispersing. Alas, this kept him from ever leaving.

He founded the isles and other villains came to join him, viewing him as their backer.

Isles of Evil had thousands of islands protected by perilous terrains. As one of the Nine Great Villains, Black Wind had a large island with many subordinates.

When he returned with Li Qiye and Alch-deer, one of his men came forward, hoping to curry favor.

“My Lord, they’re new prisoners?”

“Get out of my way!” He sent the bandit flying. No one else dared to come close.

He brought Li Qiye back to his extravagant palace. It looked rather impressive, not like the lair of a bandit at all.

“Not too shabby for a bandit, just a bit lacking in taste.” Alch-deer commented.

Black Wind wasn’t particularly versed in matters of refinement but still had enough self-awareness to know his modest place couldn’t compare to Desolate Frontier.

Li Qiye sat in the main chamber while he went to prepare tea.

“Great Immortal, I’m afraid I don’t have any worthy drink in this forsaken place.” He said.

Of course, he had called for reinforcement while making tea.

On another island, Goldblade Emperor sensed the call for help. He frowned and disappeared to deal with the situation.

He was once a mortal bandit, versed in the art at a young age. It was a miracle for him to become an emperor and a miracle among miracles to reach the half-step apex level.
