Emperor’s Domination

Li Qiye also opened his eyes to gaze into the boundless ocean. It brimmed with life due to the creatures living there, both on land and below.

He scanned through them and reached a particular place with an illusory radiance capable of mesmerizing primal ancestors and heaven-slayers.

The light could draw them in and show them the dreams hidden in their heart. Or, perhaps they would be taken into someone else’s dream or a group could be in the same dream.

“Old man, which dream did you leave behind?” Li Qiye smirked and said: “In the end, only fantasies.”

He then shifted his attention toward a floating area, always on the move like a duckweed. Perhaps it didn’t know where it was going either. This was the source of the flute-like sounds.

As they traveled, their source became impossible to determine.

“This thing.” Li Qiye frowned.

“Sea of Heavenly Sin. This is an unprecedented event.” Absolute Ancestor commented: “It used to be a part of Uncrossable Expanse. It fell into Old World after Heavenslay with Heavenly Sin’s Death. Whale Ancestor and North Kun God are there now, I hope they’re not affected.”

Whale Ancestor didn’t come from Desolate Frontier and didn’t like staying there. No one had an issue with this.

As for North Kun God, he sought serenity and peace for cultivation to break the return path. He didn’t wish to participate in the political struggle in Desolate Frontier and rarely came back.

“This is a dream so as long as they don’t come close to the source, they will be fine.” Li Qiye said.

“Just a dream? Why is it engulfing all of the sea?” She found this shocking.

“A dream seed, but perhaps more than just a dream. A wish toward something. However, a few things missed their mark as the seed grew.” Li Qiye smiled.

“A dream seed.” She thought carefully and said: “Must be a supreme overlord.”

The scale of this dream seed was beyond the ability of even peak-level primal ancestors and heaven-slayers.

“More than just a supreme overlord, this is someone who has seen the door.” Li Qiye said sentimentally.

“There isn’t one in Old World.” She said.

Although supreme overlords could descend to Old World, records and legends revealed none had stuck around, let alone left a dream seed.

“This is from long ago, now it’s activated.” He shook his head and came out of the pond, allowing her to dress him.

“I’m going.” He said.

“To the sea, Ancestor?” She asked.

He nodded and gazed at the source of the dream.

“You are interested in the dream seed?” She inquired again.

“More than just the seed, I wish to see his dream and verify a few things.” He smiled.

She then understood this dream seed must have been connected to Li Qiye somehow. Was his return the cause of its activation?

“I will accompany you, Ancestor.” She said.

“No need, now is the time for you to consolidate your dao heart. Let Alch-deer go with me, I need a mount.” He waved his hand and said: “The dream is one thing, but also the person making this sound.”

“I see.” She had a hard time analyzing the sound since it came and went too quickly.

“It’s an immortal artifact. There’s karma involved.” He said.

“Left behind by Heavenly Sin?” She shuddered.

He only smiled and didn’t respond. She didn’t pursue the issue and summoned Alch-deer.

Alch-deer was excited to hear the order and immediately prepared for departure. He had no issue with this despite being an emperor and even considered it a fortune. Others didn’t have such luck.

The duo left without telling anyone else. Alch-deer happily galloped in the direction of the sea. In his demon form, he possessed immense speed. One step traveled ten thousand miles while one jump encompassed ten million miles.

They arrived in the Sea of Heavenly Sin in no time at all. It didn’t have this name before until after Heavenslay.

Rumor has it the immortals from the redemption grounds participated. This was one of the three great wars.

A corner of Heaven World fell into this ocean afterward from the devastating battles.
