The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 550: Chapter 552: Whatever you want, I’ll give it to you

”The elevator is broken,” Xiao He said expressionlessly.

”Oh...”

Xia Xiaonuan took a couple more steps with him, feeling something was off.

She turned around to leave, but the man rushed forward, grabbed her neck from behind, and pressed a knife to her throat. Through gritted teeth, he said, ”Mrs. Nangong, you are really lucky. Since you’re here, come with me!”

Saying this, the man began to lead Xia Xiaonuan downstairs.

But after only a few steps, a group of bodyguards came charging up.

”Let her go!” One of the bodyguards pointed a gun at him and said.

”She is my safety guarantee; do you think I would let her go?” Xiao He smiled insidiously. ”Put the gun down!”

...

Qin Yi was walking towards Xiao He’s office with Nangong Yaoling when his phone suddenly rang.

”What?” Qin Yi’s face changed as he listened to the other end. ”Where are you? We’re coming over immediately! Don’t let him hurt the young lady!”

Qin Yi hung up the phone after speaking.

Nangong Yaoling was slightly stunned when he heard the words ”young lady.”

”What’s going on?”

”Young Master, the young lady has been kidnapped!” Qin Yi said with a frown.

Nangong Yaoling’s face darkened.

...

”If you don’t want me, Mrs. Nangong, and everyone else here to die together, put the gun down!” Xiao He said, suddenly tearing open his clothes.

Seeing the explosives attached to Xiao He’s waist, all the bodyguards turned pale.

Xiao He held a string in his hand and raised his eyebrows. ”Now, are you scared? With just a little force, you all, along with everything here, will be blown to bits!”

The cold knife against Xia Xiaonuan’s neck caused a sharp pain.

Her face turned pale in utter disbelief at the situation.

It was her first time experiencing a kidnapping. She couldn’t believe that the smiling person just a moment ago now had a knife to her neck and was strapped with explosives!

He was right; her luck was indeed too good!

This kind of scene only happens in movies, yet it was now occurring in real life.

Xia Xiaonuan kept her neck stiff, too afraid to move, fearing that any sudden movement would separate her head from her neck!

How tragic, to be so unlucky!

The man made the bodyguards step back while leading Xia Xiaonuan up to the rooftop.

The wind was fierce on the rooftop, carrying snowflakes that stung their faces with chill.

Xia Xiaonuan followed him, stepping back continuously, feeling something warm flowing down her neck.

She was already bleeding...

Xia Xiaonuan’s eyes widened as she told herself to stay calm.

Just then, Nangong Yaoling appeared below with his men, charging up.

”Let her go!” Nangong Yaoling commanded, panting heavily at the sight before him.

The man clenched Xia Xiaonuan’s neck tighter and pointed the knife at Nangong Yaoling. ”Don’t come closer, or I’ll take her down with me!”

Seeing the explosives strapped to the man, Nangong Yaoling’s face turned extremely grim.

”Retreat...” he ordered the bodyguards behind him.

Qin Yi, standing beside him, signaled with his eyes, and the men hesitantly stepped back.

Nangong Yaoling stepped forward. ”Xiao He, the company has treated you well. Why are you doing this!?”

”Treated me well?” Xiao He laughed coldly. ”I helped President An open the Asian market back in the day, went through so many hardships, and in the end, you wanted me to retire early! Nangong Yaoling, I refuse to accept this!”
