The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 534: Chapter 536: Are You an Idiot, Xia Xiaonuan?

Nangong Yaoling sneered coldly, raising an eyebrow, ”Now you know what’s going on? Xia Xiaonuan?”

He grabbed her arm with his big hand, pointing in Wu Da’s direction, ”Do you see his fate? If you don’t honestly tell me what that person is all about, what is your relationship with him, then your fate will be a hundred times worse than his!”

Nangong Yaoling said viciously.

Xia Xiaonuan looked at Nangong Yaoling with tears in her eyes, his entire being shrouded in gloom, like an enraged tiger!

”Are you a devil?” she murmured, ”Wu Da is your subordinate brother, you know it’s my fault, so why did you beat him like this?!”

”When a mistake is made, punishment must be accepted, no matter who it is!” Nangong Yaoling said word by word.

”Young Mistress... please don’t speak... speak for Wu Da anymore. It was Wu Da’s fault... Young Master... your punishment is right!”

Xia Xiaonuan thought about that day, Wu Da had helped her open the elevator and kindly told her how to enter the secret room.

Nangong Yaoling punishing Wu Da like this was clearly just to show her!

”Fine, I’ll say... Xia Xiaonuan glared at Nangong Yaoling with tears in her eyes, trembling as she spoke, ”He’s hurt like this, if he doesn’t see a doctor soon, he will die!”

Nangong Yaoling squinted his eyes, a slight smile tugging at his lips as he looked at her, ”That’s more like it...” he said, waving a hand, ”Take him to see a doctor!”

”Yes, Young Master—!” the two bodyguards hurriedly responded.

”Thank... thank you, Young Master...” Wu Da was carried away, still not forgetting to express his gratitude.

He truly accepted his punishment willingly, when a mistake is made, punishment must follow, this was the ironclad rule of the Imperial Group, no exceptions!

Xia Xiaonuan saw the bloodstains on the ground, and the air was thick with the smell of blood, guilt welled up in her as tears streamed down.

In the living room, everyone else had left.

Only Xia Xiaonuan and Nangong Yaoling remained.

She truthfully recounted her request to Situ Yan to Nangong Yaoling.

Of course, she avoided mentioning the part where Situ Yan saw her naked. If Nangong Yaoling found out about this, she didn’t know if he would go crazy and strangle her on the spot.

Nangong Yaoling’s face grew increasingly grim as he listened to Xia Xiaonuan.

”Xia Xiaonuan, so you treated the wounds of a stranger who broke into the villa and attacked several bodyguards? And you covered up the truth for him?

Xia Xiaonuan, are you insane? Are you overflowing with compassion or romantic desires? Do you know how dangerous your actions were? Do you understand the consequences?

How old are you? Haven’t you heard the story of the farmer and the snake?

Are you an idiot, Xia Xiaonuan?!”

Nangong Yaoling’s face turned pale with anger, shouting at Xia Xiaonuan. She was scolded harshly, yet remained unfazed, ”He was hurt that badly and didn’t harm me, was I supposed to just ignore him?”

”What do you mean ignore him? He trespassed! Xia Xiaonuan, has your intelligence been eaten by dogs?!” Nangong Yaoling grabbed her shoulders, as if he wanted to crush them.

”Enough!” Xia Xiaonuan was frustrated by his scolding, ”I saved him, and now it’s too late for you to say anything!”

Nangong Yaoling, seeing that she was stubborn like an ox even after making a mistake, was filled with even more anger.

”Then what?” Nangong Yaoling released her, gritting his teeth as he spoke:

”You saved him, and then stole the antidote for him! Xia Xiaonuan, did you fall in love with him because of his looks?

Or did he feed you some kind of potion that made you so devoted to him?!”
