The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 539: Chapter 541: Clinging onto Your Legs and Not Letting Go

Situ Yan smiled: ”A girl’s mouth is this venomous? No wonder Nangong Yaoling wants to divorce you!”

”How do you know I’m divorced?” Xia Xiaonuan raised an eyebrow and asked warily.

Situ Yan started the car:

”Do I need to guess? You look so lost and dejected, and you’re carrying luggage. You must have been kicked out by Nangong Yaoling!”

Xia Xiaonuan rolled her eyes. Which eye of his saw her looking lost and dejected? Clearly, she had left on her own accord!

”Yes, as you wished, we finally got divorced!” Xia Xiaonuan said sarcastically.

”Where are you heading now? I happen to have a vacant apartment in the city, why don’t you...”

”No need...” Xia Xiaonuan quickly responded: ”I’m going to my friend’s place, it’s already arranged!” She definitely didn’t want to get entangled with Situ Yan anymore. This man was inherently a dangerous character!

Situ Yan looked at her mockingly: ”Are you so timid? Afraid I’ll eat you up?”

”Provocation won’t work on me...” Xia Xiaonuan deliberately laughed: ”I’m afraid you’ll truly fall in love with me one day, and you’ll regret it yourself!”

At these words, Situ Yan’s grip on the steering wheel suddenly tightened.

Inside, it was as if something had struck him.

The next moment, he raised his eyes, smiling at Xia Xiaonuan: ”Such big talk. But I like confident women. Why not give me a chance...let me try to fall in love with you?”

As he spoke, he suddenly reached out and pinched her cheek.

The car was filled with the scent of tobacco from his fingertips.

Xia Xiaonuan felt the pain, yet her mind suddenly recalled that Nangong Yaoling seemed to have pinched her cheek like this before.

A trace of complexity flashed in her eyes. She reached out and forcefully slapped his hand away.

”Go away... scoundrel!” She glared at his handsome profile: ”With someone like you, you’d probably be kicked out before even entering the exam hall!”

Situ Yan burst into laughter: ”Then I’d just cling to your leg and not let go, no matter how you kick, I’d hold on tight...”

Xia Xiaonuan: ”...”

After he spoke, he deliberately glanced at her thigh.

Xia Xiaonuan’s cheeks grew hot.

This Situ Yan was definitely a master of seduction. If she were an inexperienced girl, she’d certainly be mesmerized by him!

Unfortunately, now she only felt that this man was too deep, she couldn’t fathom him at all.

Remembering the previous incident, her eyes darkened slightly.

Unable to help herself, she asked: ”Why were you there on Christmas Eve? Did you do it on purpose?”

Situ Yan’s brows twitched slightly.

His mouth twitched as he looked at the road: ”What are you talking about?”

”Don’t play dumb with me...” Xia Xiaonuan glared at him: ”Did you do it on purpose? You knew Nangong Yaoling would find out, so you deliberately made him suspicious of me, didn’t you?”

Situ Yan parked the car under an apartment building.

He took a deep breath and looked at Xia Xiaonuan solemnly: ”If I told you I really missed you, and just wanted to see you, would you believe me?”

His gaze was deep and inscrutable, carrying a hint of mystery.

Xia Xiaonuan suddenly didn’t dare to look at him, she just sneered and said: ”Only a ghost would believe that!”

Situ Yan’s hand on the steering wheel opened abruptly. He spread his palm, then slowly clenched his fist.

”Yes, I did want you to divorce him...”

Xia Xiaonuan bit her lip as the anger in her eyes rose bit by bit.

She turned her head, looking coldly at Situ Yan, and spat two words: ”Despicable!”

Situ Yan’s body stiffened.
