The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 518: Chapter 520 I Can Only Belong to You

In the living room, an eagle flew out from the corner and landed on Situ Yan’s shoulder.

Situ Yan picked up a piece of meat with his chopsticks and put it in the eagle’s beak. The eagle immediately grabbed it and started eating, excitedly circling in the air as it did.

”I knew you were the best.” Situ Yan smiled.

Jiang Xue, sitting across from him, looked at the eagle with some jealousy and said, ”You seem to treat it better than anyone else.”

Situ Yan laughed, ”Because it’s very well-behaved, right?”

”It’s just a bird...”

As soon as the words were out, the eagle suddenly flew at Jiang Xue. Startled, Jiang Xue screamed and dodged, her hair getting messed up by the eagle’s claws.

Situ Yan called out with a smile, ”Shun’er, come here.”

The eagle immediately stopped flapping and obediently ran to Situ Yan, perching on the sofa nearby.

He looked at her with amusement, ”I told you, she’s very well-behaved. You insult her, of course she’s not happy!”

Jiang Xue, still shocked, fussed with her hair and pouted, ”You scared me to death, and you’re still laughing!”

Situ Yan reached out and patted the eagle’s head, ”Shun’er, go play by yourself.”

The eagle cooed twice and then flew away.

”How are things with Nangong Yaoling?”

”Not bad!” Jiang Xue said proudly, ”He seems to really care about Qiqi, but he’s completely smitten with me. It’s just... sometimes it feels like something is missing.”

”That’s because you haven’t completely captured his heart. There’s still another woman in it!”

”You mean Xia Xiaonuan? She already ran away from home. Nangong Yaoling is letting her be out there. I think they’ll probably get divorced soon!”

”Then you need to tighten your grip.” Situ Yan lit a cigar and elegantly blew smoke rings.

”I know...” Jiang Xue got up, walked over to Situ Yan, and tugged at his arm, ”Yan... Christmas is in two days. That day... can you spend it with me?”

Situ Yan turned his head and blew a smoke ring into Jiang Xue’s face.

”No way!”

Jiang Xue coughed dryly and turned her face away.

Frowning, she said, ”Why not? I’ve done so much, yet you always say you’ll reward me but never do!”

”What? Nangong Yaoling hasn’t touched you?” Situ Yan grabbed her chin with one hand and blew a breath in her ear.

Jiang Xue’s face flushed slightly, looking at Situ Yan with some intimacy, ”Of course not... My body, only you...”

”Useless!” Situ Yan suddenly shoved her away forcefully, turned coldly, and propped his foot on the coffee table.

Jiang Xue froze completely.

Tearfully, she looked at Situ Yan, ”Do you really want me to be with another man that much?”

A chill appeared on Situ Yan’s face, ”What kind of man is Nangong Yaoling? If he hasn’t touched you yet, it means he doubts you!”

Jiang Xue bit her lower lip, ”But... he doesn’t make the first move. Do you want me to take the initiative? If I do that, wouldn’t he be even more suspicious?” Actually, she had always been puzzled. Even though Nangong Yaoling and she were together, besides eating and chatting, the most intimate gesture was just kissing. After all this time, there hadn’t been any oversteps! Could it be that she really lacked charm?

Situ Yan’s expression softened a bit.

He pressed the cigarette butt into the ashtray and extended his hand, wrapping it around Jiang Xue’s waist.

Jiang Xue pushed his hand away.

Situ Yan hugged her tightly again, lowered his head, and kissed behind her ear. Jiang Xue shivered all over and said angrily, ”What are you doing? Hit me and then give me a candy?”
