My father sold me to the Mafia King

Chapter 109:

Robert’s Point of View

My body was pressed entirely against hers, and I felt my hand covering her small hand that was gripping the weapon. I said in a low tone:

”You have to hold your grip tight.”

I felt the muscles of her hand contract as she executed my order, so I continued:

”This is the safety catch; pull it down until you are ready to fire.”

The scent of lavender emanating from her neck was assassinating my composure, but I continued guiding her hand over the cold metal. I said in a deep voice:

”Now... place your index finger on the trigger, but do not press. Aim at the target, Julie.”

Her tone trembled as she asked with wide pupils in the mirror:

”Is this gun empty?”

I ignored her question and tightened my grip on her waist to give her the necessary stability, pressing my chest against her back.

I whispered beside her ear:

”When you decide to fire, do not pull the trigger violently... instead, press softly and gradually. Breathe deeply... then press.”

Suddenly, with a movement I did not expect, she turned with lightning speed.

I found myself face-to-face with the black muzzle of the weapon.

Julie was aiming directly at my chest, her eyes gleaming with a defiance I had never known. She said in a sharp tone:

”I am aiming exactly at the target.”

Not a single muscle in my face moved; instead, I stood contemplating her boldness, which sparked my hidden admiration. I said coldly:

”Do you really have the courage to fire?”

She smiled with a childish malice and extended her other hand to support the weapon, trying to suppress the trembling that betrayed her fingers. She said with a shaky strength:

”Yes... I do.”

I stepped one step toward her, so the muzzle touched my shirt exactly at the position of the heart.

I asked her:

”Are you not afraid of the consequences?”

She replied with a fake confidence:

”No.”

Then she pressed the trigger.

A dry, metallic ”click” echoed in the silence of the room.

Her features relaxed slightly as she said with a kind of victory:

”I know you wouldn’t give me a gun with bullets.”

But I did not allow her to celebrate this small victory. I pulled her by her waist with a force that plastered her body entirely against mine, and whispered in her face:

”But you pressed the trigger, ignoring the consequences... and there are severe consequences, Julie.”

I did not give her a chance to object; I leaned in and crashed my lips onto hers in a violent and long kiss.

The weapon fell from her hand to strike the carpet with a muffled thud, while she became lost in the siege of my arms.

I began to devour her lips with a greed I had never known in myself before, as if I were trying to reclaim every atom of oxygen her presence in my room had stolen from me.

Her texture was different, warm and disorienting a strange feeling that permeated my depths and shattered all the fortresses I had built for years.

This was not just a kiss; it was a physical confession that this girl had breached my system in a way I am unable to explain.

I was lost in her taste; the texture of her lips was erasing every memory of another woman I had known before a virgin feeling that invaded my senses and made the world around me shrink to become only her.

---------

Julie’s Point of View

The world faded around me, and nothing remained except the dominant texture of his lips over mine.

I was numb, completely paralyzed, as if my body had decided to separate from my will at that moment.

I felt the strong taste of his lips, and the scent of tobacco and masculinity that seeped into my depths with his panting breath. My mind was screaming at me:

”Revolt! Prevent him! Kill him!”,

but my arms remained limp at my side, and my body was drowned between his hands, completely surrendering to that power I had never experienced before.

It was a disorienting feeling, a mixture of drowning and soaring at the same time a feeling that made my words evaporate in my throat.

Suddenly, he withdrew slowly. He didn’t pull away completely, but stopped only a centimeter away.

I felt the heat of his breath hitting my skin, and I looked into his eyes; his gaze was strange, vague, and filled with something I didn’t understand, but it was enough to wake me from my trance.

The blood in my veins ignited with anger. With a movement I hadn’t planned, I raised my hand with lightning speed and brought it down with all my might onto his face.

I turned and fled from the room as if I were escaping a massive fire, running in the hallway as if it were my last day.

I burst into my room with a trembling body and closed the door behind me with a force that almost uprooted its handle, as if I were trying to block the path of his scent that pursued me in the hallway.

I rushed toward the bathroom with stumbling steps and locked the door once again.

I stood before the mirror, slowly raised my trembling hand, and touched the tips of my fingers to my lips, which looked slightly swollen.

His taste was still there, clinging like an invisible tattoo, and the heat of his kiss was still burning my skin.

As soon as I touched the place of his touch, a violent shiver ran through my body, and I felt a sudden heat coursing through my veins as if a volcano had exploded inside my chest, extending to all my limbs.

I leaned over the sink and turned on the cold water tap to its maximum strength. I filled my palms and splashed the water on my face repeatedly, trying to extinguish that internal fire.

My body was shaking violently, and my breath was coming out audible and disturbed.

I rested my elbows on the edge of the marble sink and let the cold water drops drip from my chin, and whispered to myself in a choked voice:

”My God... what is happening to me?”
