Hidden Marriage, Overbearing Love: Mr! Please Let Me Go

Chapter 1050: Chapter 1054: Why Should You Be the One to Take Care of Him

He sternly shouted at the figure about to step into the room: ”Xia Qingqian, where are you going?”

Didn’t he tell her that she had already moved into his bedroom? Why was she still heading to the other room?

Xia Qingqian shivered slightly at the sudden voice and instantly felt it wasn’t good. She could only smile back at Beitang Yao, who wasn’t far away, and said, ”Young Master, the baby’s mother really hasn’t returned home, leaving the baby at home is indeed... a bit inappropriate, right?”

”Baby?” Beitang Yao said in a cold and dull voice, ”Where have all his household servants gone? Could they all be a bunch of freeloaders?” He nearly added: Is my woman supposed to be a nanny?

But he suppressed it, leaving it unsaid, and instead, his eyes looked at her coldly as deep as an abyss.

It made people shrink back involuntarily. She held Mario’s small hand, nearly sweating from her grip. Her hand tightened, unsure of what to do next!

After a long time, she took a deep breath and said, ”Young Master, I promised her this morning to help take care of Mario...”

”He’s not yours, why do you need to take care of him?” He stepped forward, locking his gaze on Xia Qingqian until she could barely stand.

”...Young Master.” Xia Qingqian gently bit her lip, feeling troubled by Beitang Yao’s sharp gaze, causing her body to tremble lightly.

Beitang Yao stepped forward swiftly, his temple veins faintly visible. He reached out and grabbed Xia Qingqian, ”Xia Qingqian, do you mean to say you must sleep with this kid tonight?”

Xia Qingqian was forced back a few steps by Beitang Yao’s cold aura and leaned against the door frame. The smile on her lips gradually faded, and her hand was pinned against the frame, feeling a bit sore. Her beautiful eyebrows slightly furrowed.

”What about Mario? He’s afraid of the dark, I can’t just leave him alone, right?” Being pressed against the door frame in such a manner was slightly awkward, causing her face to suddenly flush red.

He slowly shifted his cold, predatory gaze from her face to the small figure hiding beside Xia Qingqian and said coldly, ”You, go find your Maria immediately. This is my woman!”

After he finished speaking, he bent slightly and hoisted Xia Qingqian horizontally, walking towards his room, with Mario’s cry of ’sister’ trailing behind as the door slammed shut.

No matter how Mario called out, Xia Qingqian didn’t respond to him. It was only after Maria and Uncle Quan coaxed him for a long time that they finally got him to sleep.

In the large, quiet room, she quietly moved towards the head of the bed, staring wide-eyed and holding her breath as she watched the man before her take off his clothes piece by piece. She choked up and said, ”Young Master, what are you doing?”

Beitang Yao glanced at her, the corner of his mouth curving slightly. That sinister smile startled Xia Qingqian so much that she shivered. But when she wanted to retreat further, she found there was no way back.

”Taking off my clothes to sleep.” Beitang Yao said, wearing only a pair of blue boxers. Xia Qingqian inexplicably swallowed as she watched him place his hand on the waistband to remove them, and she jumped up!

”Then I’ll sleep on the sofa!” She said and quickly jumped off the bed, but the sofa was by the window, and she had to pass by Beitang Yao.

As she was contemplating whether to go over, Beitang Yao reached out and pulled her into his arms. The next moment, her whole body leaned back, lying on the big bed, without giving her a chance to leave.
