Hidden Marriage, Overbearing Love: Mr! Please Let Me Go

Chapter 1022: Chapter 1026: Does Someone of My Status Need to Drive Himself?

After Beitang Yao parked the car, he got out and walked to Xia Qingqian’s side, opened the car door, and carried her out. His aura made everyone afraid to come close, even the traffic police dared not make a move, because the murderous intent on Beitang Yao was enough to intimidate anyone.

His sports car was parked right in the middle of the road, and the traffic police stood dumbfounded, watching Beitang Yao carry Xia Qingqian away. Once they regained their senses, they quickly approached Beitang Yao, babbling a slew of words.

Beitang Yao glanced indifferently at the traffic police talking to him, then brushed past them, leaving a calm statement, ”Within a minute, everything will be settled.”

The traffic police looked at this arrogant and brazen man, unsure of how to respond.

Sure enough, within a minute, Ye Feng swiftly arrived there, handing over everything the police needed. With this commotion, Beitang Yao was banned from driving in the United Kingdom territory, and his driving license was taken. Due to Beitang Yao’s speeding and running red lights, although there were no casualties, he seriously violated traffic regulations.

And Ye Feng cleaned up the aftermath behind him.

Seeing Beitang Yao’s driving license being taken away, Xia Qingqian nervously asked, ”Young Master, your driving license!”

”I have an international driver’s license, it doesn’t matter.” He looked down, gazing at her in his arms, and softly asked, ”Does someone like me, with status, need to drive personally?”

Seeing him joking around, the tension in Xia Qingqian’s heart eased a lot. Since he wasn’t concerned about it, any worry from an outsider like her was unnecessary.

She felt extremely dizzy; she had never raced before, the feeling like a forewarning of death!

”Young Master, do you often race?” And under such flagrant disregard for traffic laws? Isn’t he afraid of accidents? Does he really enjoy playing with his life? Does he even not care about sparing his own life?

”Why, do you enjoy this feeling?” Beitang Yao’s cold breath brushed against her cheek, chilly and quite terrifying.

”Young Master, racing is very dangerous. If you don’t care about yourself, at least care for others.” Xia Qingqian said weakly, hoping that the Young Master would truly listen to her instead of acting nonchalant.

Just because you did something wrong, doesn’t mean money can solve it, this is extremely irresponsible behavior!

”Aren’t you fine now? You’re alive and well, scolding me.” Beitang Yao’s icy eyes were harsh, but he instinctively held Xia Qingqian a little tighter.

He felt her body still trembling, likely due to the racing; she wasn’t used to it at all. He was extremely depressed, not knowing where to unleash it, and thus resorted to street racing.

The thrill of speeding was immensely satisfying, and having her by his side, witnessing her shock and fear, slightly alleviated his discomfort. Eventually, however, he ended up playing cat and mouse with the police, and given his driving skills, few in the world could beat him. He was the Masked Racer, always securing the championship in every race.

When racing, he liked to wear a black mask, making it impossible for anyone to know his true appearance, not even who he was. He only appeared during some large international races, but the most baffling thing was, after winning the championship, he would scoff at the victory and leave in a cloud of dust. Like a fleeting splendid scene, he came quietly and left softly, without taking away any splendor, leaving behind a sense of regret for those present!
