Hidden Marriage, Overbearing Love: Mr! Please Let Me Go

Chapter 1007: Chapter 1011: Hold Me

Xia Qingqian stared dazedly at Beitang Yao. Such a sharp-tongued and harsh Young Master was not unfamiliar to her, but every word that escaped through the gaps of his teeth was so cutting, making her feel utterly uncomfortable, yet she had no choice but to accept it! After all, she was just his... servant. She truly had no choice.

”...” After a brief silence, Xia Qingqian slowly moved her body, took a step forward, and said softly with her head lowered, ”Young Master, it was my fault. I shouldn’t have talked back to you, but please rest assured, I have learned from this lowly mistake and will never commit it again in the future. Thank you for your guidance, Young Master.”

The fringe on her forehead covered her eyes, hiding the waves within them from view.

At the very moment she turned around, she was tightly enveloped in a warm embrace, arms encircling her back and pulling her completely into his bosom.

The rapid sound of breathing resonated next to her ear, and he held her so tightly that she was almost suffocating, yet he didn’t think to let her go. The congealed air slowly gathered their breaths, and she breathed in sync with his breathing, gradually linking their breaths together.

All she could hear was the creaking of her own bones, and she couldn’t resist voicing her discomfort, breaking the tranquility of the moment, ”Young Master, you’re holding me too tightly.”

”Don’t speak; I just want to hold you like this. Don’t let me regret holding you!” Beitang Yao rested his chin on top of her head, gently rubbing it, as a cool breath escaped from his mouth.

Xia Qingqian’s entire body stiffened. She didn’t dare to move recklessly at this moment, just letting him hold her. Her hands hung by his side, not knowing where to place them. Instinctively wanting to pull back, but as she moved, strong hands grasped hers, clutching them to his body, forming her embrace around his waist.

She was startled, raising an eyebrow, incredulous that Beitang Yao would make such a move. Her hands hadn’t prepared mentally and naturally slipped down.

But at the next moment, her hands were placed back in position, accompanied by a faint voice echoing in her ear, ”Hold me.”

The gentle three words pierced her heart, melting into her bones and blood, even making her feel like it was the most beautiful and heart-stirring sentence she’d ever heard.

Her thoughts seemed infected by his breath, and with his words, her hands gradually clasped together, holding firmly around his waist. Her body also gradually softened, leaning completely against Beitang Yao.

The feeling was warm, secure, like a harbor, but... would his place be where she could stay? Would it?

Until Xia Qingqian could no longer hold on, she whimpered, ”Young Master, are you done yet.” When would he let her go?! Her body was already stiff.

Hearing her, Beitang Yao placed his hands on her shoulders, moving her away from his body. But he felt an inexplicable twinge of tension coming from her, causing him to frown.

”What’s wrong?” Beitang Yao pondered for a long moment before voicing the question in his heart.

”My body has gone stiff.” Xia Qingqian felt that the rigid sensation was really uncomfortable, tingling with numbness and pain. She couldn’t move her limbs, so she gritted her teeth, looking at Beitang Yao, ”Could you help me by patting my back and arms? Or maybe help me to the sofa to lie down for a while...”
