Hidden Marriage, Overbearing Love: Mr! Please Let Me Go

Chapter 901: Chapter 903: Incomprehensible

There’s no need to ask; this chill emanates from Beitang Yao. She bit her lip, ”Young Master, I’m already full. You go ahead and eat slowly...”

”My patience is limited.” He gave her a cold glance, pushed aside the bowl of soup he had ruined, and picked up a handkerchief to wipe the soup off the back of his hand.

The servant saw this and quickly removed the bowl of soup, replacing it with a new one.

Then the servant walked over to Xia Qingqian, picked up a pair of chopsticks beside her, and handed them to her, gently urging, ”Miss Xia, you haven’t eaten much tonight. Have a good meal with the Young Master.” The servant was truly anxious for Xia Qingqian.

This girl, ignoring the Young Master like that, showing such a bitter face, would make anyone angry, let alone the proud and arrogant Young Master who has never been hit by such a setback but now finds himself thwarted by Xia Qingqian.

Doesn’t she know how to please the Young Master? If the Young Master is happy, she wouldn’t have to suffer so much.

Although Xia Qingqian lives in the villa halfway up the mountain, her status is awkward—she’s merely a plaything for the Young Master, everyone knows this, yet they all treat her with respect because the Young Master always treats her outstandingly well.

The Young Master, although he wants to torment her, secretly cares for her too; she just hasn’t realized it yet.

Sigh... the relationship between the Young Master and Miss Xia is truly beyond others’ comprehension...

Xia Qingqian didn’t think much, accepted the chopsticks handed to her by the servant, then took a public pair and picked up a piece of meat. She paused mid-air before daring to extend it into Beitang Yao’s empty bowl, silently placing it down.

After putting down the public chopsticks, she only picked a little bit of rice to lightly chew on. After finishing the task of serving Beitang Yao, she felt a bit regretful. The Young Master seemed not to like others serving him food... nothing was allowed in his bowl... What was she thinking, was her head turned silly?!

Beitang Yao did not expect her to serve him food. Previously, she always quietly ate her own meal. How dare she be so bold now, serving him food? Wasn’t she afraid he would get angry?

It seems she truly dares to do anything after hitting her head. If he continues to indulge her, the consequences are unimaginable.

”Eat more vegetables, don’t just eat rice.” He gave Xia Qingqian a glance, then gracefully drank his soup, but a fleeting luster flashed in his eyes.

Xia Qingqian gently uttered ”Oh” and then switched to public chopsticks to serve vegetables.

”Take away the public chopsticks.” From then on, at the dining table, as long as it was just the two of them eating, public chopsticks were never seen again.

And when Xia Qingqian picked up a piece of connected meat, Beitang Yao would reach out with his chopsticks as well, helping her hold the other piece so she could take the part she wanted.

He would also then place the other piece into his own bowl, which Xia Qingqian noticed and nearly choked, coughing heavily.

Thus, Beitang Yao would glance at her coldly, forcing her to swallow back her surprise and confusion.

After the meal, he called her to the living room, where they sat on the sofa. After a long while, he finally said, ”Has your wound gotten any better?” What a trouble he had taken in, indeed. She repeatedly gets into incidents, yet he has to constantly be tolerant of her. After tormenting her, he feels uncomfortable inside too.
