I AM the Football Star

”Ding! You used a medical check-up pack on Morici.”

”Morici, age... height... weight... overall health condition, excellent! Injury risk, low. Note, performance ability is relatively weak, but it can be optimized through training, advised to eat more okra, chives, and other such foods...”

Lu Yang looked at Morici, his eyes nearly popped out.

No way.

Momo turns out to be a... fast finisher?

But to be honest, players who are not strong in a certain area can focus all their energy on football, which can elevate their career to new heights.

Looking at history, nightclubs have absolutely been the bane for many fallen stars due to personal reasons.

And the meaning behind nightclubs is definitely not just dancing.

It’s more about...

”Momo, make sure to eat more okra and chives when you have time. Over where I’m from, these things are good for men,” Lu Yang still reminded Morici, after all, he’s a good brother, and he can’t bear to see his brother unhappy?

”What okra and chives, say it again and I’ll hit you! Get out, I don’t need those things at all!” Morici flared up upon hearing the mention of these two foods.

But if he hadn’t specifically looked into these foods, how would he know he doesn’t need them at all?

Momo was exposed!

Lu Yang decided to leave it at that and didn’t continue to pester Morici.

Just like telling Delarre not to stay up late, he gave Morici advice on health supplements. If Morici doesn’t work hard himself, he can’t blame others.

Scanning his teammates, Lu Yang finally selected another target for the medical check-up pack.

These aren’t like Moment Cards. If you don’t use them now, do you wait until your teammates get injured to use them?

Currently, there’s actually a position in San Remo’s lineup that’s really short on players.

And in terms of playstyle, it’s irreplaceable.

That position is... Canyes.

Camihong can play as a double-sided defender but his right-back ability is definitely no match for Canyes.

At times, Canyes’ right-back can play a role akin to Morici and Lu Yang.

”Ding! You used a medical check-up pack on Canyes.”

”Canyes, age, height, weight... Ding! Major injury risk detected! A groin injury caused by an adductor strain, requires immediate surgery, with an estimated recovery time of about two months!”

The medical check-up pack didn’t just detect the injury risk, it even provided a direct solution.

Lu Yang looked at Canyes, feeling a chill in his heart.

The more you say someone can’t get injured, the more they do.

But in reality, these were all early warnings.

Canyes is a Side Road Fast Horse, very fast, and possibly ranked in the top ten speed for right-backs!

Plus, he has a very important role in San Remo’s attack.

His rapid advances and deep runs create a dual-wing effect with Bai Zhami on the left.

But Canyes is a pure Caucasian.

You can’t deny the genetic advantages of different races.

Among fast Caucasian players, there are very few who aren’t affected by injuries.

Furthermore, Canyes has had very intense game schedules over the past year.

Not sustaining a direct injury is already a miracle.

Many early-stage muscle injuries can actually be overcome, it’s just a slight ache or some pain during extreme activities.

But if you actively avoid extreme conditions, pain can be avoided.

However, no pain doesn’t mean there’s no injury.

Lu Yang estimates Canyes must have felt pain during the European Cup.

Otherwise it wouldn’t have progressed from an adductor issue to a groin strain.

A half-month break is nowhere near enough for Canyes’ body to heal naturally.

”Canyes, is your leg feeling uncomfortable? I noticed your walking posture seemed a bit off today,” Lu Yang approached Canyes.

”Me? Really? I don’t think so?” Canyes was baffled by Lu Yang’s question.

He sometimes feels a bit uncomfortable, but it shouldn’t affect his walking posture, right?

”Let’s all take a break first, Canyes, come with me,” without giving room for objection, Lu Yang pulled Canyes along and directly headed outside, calling their partner in Shanggang, asking them to recommend a hospital and arrange a quick examination.

Shanggang was quite efficient, settling everything in just an hour.

Canyes got a check-up overnight, and the results even startled him.

”The sooner, the better! It’s better to rest at the start of the season than at the end!” That’s Lu Yang’s opinion, ”And you’re so young, with conservative treatment, it could become a career-long issue that’s hard to cure.”

”Don’t jeopardize your career with bravado, understand?”

In the hospital room, Canyes and Lu Yang sat on the hospital bed.

Canyes doesn’t need it now, but he will after the surgery.

”But what about our season if I have the surgery? I’m worried we might fall too far behind right from the start,” Canyes was still concerned about the challenges San Remo faced this season.

”As long as our lineup is complete, we’ll catch up no matter how far behind we get!” Lu Yang smiled.

Soon, Sotu arrived too.

After a discussion, Canyes finally decided to have the surgery the next morning.

The medical care in Shanghai is quite good, so Canyes will have the surgery here, and once he’s stable, he’ll return to Italy to recover.

Naturally, such news couldn’t be kept from the local media.

Early the next morning, related news hit the football headlines.

”Clipped Wings! San Remo’s Right-back Canyes Hospitalized Overnight, Suspected Injury!”
