I AM the Football Star

Undoubtedly, this is a retaliatory offer!

Bayern Munich is targeting San Remo!

This is what a major club does!

Buy, buy, buy!

San Remo’s morale is unstable; regardless of whether the players will be bought or not, next season their spirits will be scattered, and performance concerns are secondary.

Prepare for relegation!

San Remo repeatedly stated they won’t sell these two players.

But afterward, news gradually emerged about Bayern’s people seemingly having private contact with Lam and Kaint.

It’s mostly false, but if this continues, false might even become true.

San Remo met with the two players immediately, and discussed their thoughts.

Fortunately, neither of them are Germans, so they don’t have any inexplicable reverence for Bayern and won’t insist on joining Bayern.

Furthermore, Bayern is currently at its most competitive, aiming not just for the league title but the Champions League!

A team like this won’t offer new signings many opportunities, especially since both Lam and Kaint are young players, not top stars.

If they really joined Bayern, their playing time would be minimal, and the chances to stand out very slim.

They can’t possibly push out any players from Bayern’s main lineup.

Whereas at San Remo, they can play in Serie A, which is more recognized than the Bundesliga, and they can also play in the Champions League!

As key players for the team, they are not lacking in opportunities to shine.

They’d only be foolish to leave now.

Following San Remo’s Europa League victory and Italy’s European Cup victory, the San Remo miracle has surpassed being just a miracle.

It’s a legend!

To be part of this legend, fills everyone with pride.

Consequently, everyone’s value and evaluations are improving with this legend.

Going to Bayern, unless they secure a main role, Lam and Kaint’s values will inevitably be harmed, at least not rise.

However, at San Remo, as long as they don’t get relegated next year, their value and reputation will continue to rise.

Yet, Bayern seems addicted.

After Lam and Kaint explicitly refused Bayern, they made another offer for Fernandez and Bai Zhami.

Especially Bai Zhami, Bayern offered an inflated price of twenty million euros!

What about Bauer’s price?

What about Pavovsky’s price?

Can Bai Zhami be better than them?

Obviously not.

But Bayern aims to disgust San Remo.

Their grudge, due to Tony Collette’s transfer to Real Madrid, has been set in stone.

A team climbing up from the Italian D Division dares to interfere in Bayern’s internal matters— if such a trend isn’t stopped in time, more people will express dissatisfaction towards Bayern.

Especially Bayern’s benefits from buying within the Bundesliga, which have long been viewed as a thorn by major league clubs.

Major clubs fiercely compete for the Champions League and league titles, investing heavily, yet Bayern spends ten million for tasks worth one hundred million euros, facing no league pressure, allowing full Champions League preparation.

Isn’t this treating heavily investing major club owners as fools?

This isn’t fair!

So Bayern targets San Remo partly due to a new grudge, and partly to assert dominance.

Meeting the pillow when dozing off, what a coincidence!

Such behavior infuriates San Remo, accustomed to being ”domineering” in the Italian football environment.

They’ve fought their way up from lower leagues, intimidating others with their cheque books, only to be dealt with by someone else’s this time!

Isn’t this infuriating?

But truly angering is that the Russell Group is temporarily halting further investment in San Remo.

They’ve encountered their own problems, needing funds urgently.

This summer, San Remo will face relative financial constraint.

Also, San Remo isn’t suitable for large scale signings right now.

Through numerous reinforcements and familiarity, their squad is at its optimal state.

Reckless addition of star players might raise the team’s ceiling, but won’t strengthen the team short-term, possibly harming team strength.

So... this current San Remo is the strongest version of the San Remo that climbed up from the Italian D Division.

To become stronger, they must undergo a comprehensive overhaul.

Just like a race car built on a platform reaching its theoretical best level, making it faster requires establishing a brand new platform, undergoing lengthy tests and adjustments.

But that’s not an undertaking completed in one summer.

Moreover, completing it means San Remo won’t be the same San Remo that created the miracle.

Lu Yang, Morici, Bai Zhami, Fernandez, Naji, Areola, Camihong, Palacios, etc.—these players range in age, many of their careers may just be beginning.

But their San Remo tenure is actually entering its final stage.

The era of this generation of team players is nearing an end.

Just as there comes a time for Manchester United Class of 1992 to part, Real Madrid’s Galaxy Battleship must divide into phases, and Barça’s Cosmic Team gradually disperses until it dissolves.

Teams experience rise and fall; no team remains strong forever, nor can rely on one group to dominate for twenty years.

Under Rondo, San Remo languished in the Italian D Division, keeping the team from falling into the abyss of regional leagues was that San Remo’s mission.

Under Lu Yang and Morici, San Remo rose from Italian D Division to Serie A, bringing Sunshine City’s scenery to the world, crafting a beautiful legend—this is this San Remo’s mission.
