I AM the Football Star

”This penalty was created by him, and he also scored a goal. His presence poses a greater threat to Italy Team’s defenders. This is the formidable aura of the world’s number one left winger!”

”On Italy Team’s side, Maniero lets Praxedes step up, it seems they’re ready for Praxedes to impulsively take the goalkeeper position. There’s no other choice because there’s no other suitable candidate on the field at this moment.”

”Italy has brought two substitute goalkeepers, but they don’t have substitution slots left! A video once leaked of Praxedes simulating the goalkeeper during team training, he’s holding the goalkeeper gloves handed over by Ameluci, he... wait! What’s happening!”

”Lu Yang! It’s Lu Yang!”

”Lu Yang pulled Audi aside, pointed at the gloves in Audi’s hand, and Audi suddenly realized. He took off his gloves and personally helped Lu Yang put them on!”

”Is Lu Yang going to be the goalkeeper?”

”Yes! Lu Yang signaled to Maniero, indicating he would be the goalkeeper! Praxedes moved back outside the penalty box, everyone now is watching Lu Yang donning the goalkeeper gloves!”

”The true backbone of Italy Team has appeared!”

”Facing Ribeiro, Lu Yang courageously stepped up. He is about to engage in an unfair duel with the world’s number one left winger! Everyone looks at Lu Yang in awe because they can’t fathom how he dares!”

”Audi helped Lu Yang put on the gloves, wait, he’s taking off his captain armband, and then... he’s helping Lu Yang fasten it on his arm! The captain armband! Italy National Team’s captain armband!”

”There’s applause from the stands!”

”Everyone is clapping, including the fans of France Team! They’ve been moved by Lu Yang’s courageous spirit!”

”In a moment when everyone was lost, only Lu Yang remained clear-headed, returning the game to the right track. I believe Lu Yang is totally deserving of the captain armband on his left arm at this moment!”

In front of everyone’s gaze, Lu Yang with determined eyes, walks towards the goal.

As he walks, he opens his only Moment Pack.

”Don’t mess with me, buddy, you know which card should come, right?” Lu Yang murmured softly.

In the next instant.

”Ding! You’ve opened the Moment Pack, obtained the Moment Card Casillas! 2002.5.15!”

Lu Yang’s eyes lit up.

Casillas, also known as Saint Casillas, was the former gate god and captain of Real Madrid, once regarded as the number one goalkeeper in the world!

On 2002.5.15, the match was his rise and fame in the club.

As a goalkeeper with a height of just 1.82 meters, he achieved such high ratings, enough to imagine how strong Casillas’ personal abilities were.

His save reaction ability was extraordinary, his peak might be one of the strongest among modern goalkeepers.

Lu Yang’s action received countless applause, but also made numerous Italy Team fans anxious.

Although Lu Yang’s approach was great enough, the greatness lies in Lu Yang daring to step up and take the blame at this moment.

Not to mention a forward player like Lu Yang, even a true goalkeeper might break down under such pressure.

This could be the most important penalty kick of this year.

”Why isn’t it you, Zidane?” As soon as Lu Yang began, he pointed at Zidane standing outside the penalty box.

Zidane’s pupils contracted.

That guy, making trouble again!

Lu Yang wanted to play a psychological battle.

He aimed to influence Robben’s penalty kick state.

”Are you sure you want to be the goalkeeper? Do you know this position is the most special on the field? Goalkeeper is irreplaceable, while other positions can be,” Zidane avoided discussing, instead targeting Lu Yang’s mentality.

Lu Yang laughed: ”Looks like you’ve never seen my performance in the Italian Cup against Rome. I played as a goalkeeper in the penalty shootout, and have maintained a clean sheet record till now!”

Zidane paused.

This kid... did he really play as goalkeeper?

”Not every player standing on the goal line is called a goalkeeper,” Zidane said, ”Later when you concede, you’ll know you should roll to the front line, this isn’t a place for you!”

”If Italy Team sends you to guard the goal, even with just five minutes left in the game, we might even score two or three more goals!”

After Zidane finished speaking, he looked at Robben, implying there’s no pressure, the opponent is just a rookie.

Robben was always focused on the football, seemingly blocking out Lu Yang’s disturbances.

The goalkeeper interfering with a penalty taker is normal, and Robben has this blocking ability.

In fact, Robben taking the kick wasn’t only because he created this penalty.

It’s also because Zidane may be the team’s first penalty taker, but Robben’s personal penalty success rate is actually higher than Zidane’s.

Zidane just missed a penalty a few months ago in the recent season that ended.

While the last time Robben missed a penalty was three years ago.

Up to now, he has consecutively scored fifteen penalty kicks.

He’s currently the player with the most consecutive scored penalties in France National Team, unparalleled.

The showdown between the world’s number one left winger and the world’s worst goalkeeper thus begins.

Robben fine-tuned the football, stepped back, and prepared.

Beep!

The main referee blew the whistle.

Robben slowly moved forward.

Then accelerated.

Then swung his foot and shot, executing flawlessly.

The overall motion was extremely smooth, the ball speed very fast!

Beautiful!

Almost everyone watching this penalty instinctively uttered the word.
