I AM the Football Star

The latter is far more convenient than the former.

Even more important than convenience is... land!

Real estate!

Compared to basketball, football is simply a ”squandering” of land resources!

Basketball courts are equipped in any housing estate or community.

But football fields... their area is larger than some small housing estates combined, which developer can afford this?

Without fields, how can children play football?

As development progressed, those with rich streetball experience clearly knew that playing basketball almost had no cost, but playing football... the cost was not low!

No matter if it’s thirty or fifty, as long as there’s a fee, it excludes the vast majority of students.

Isn’t going online more appealing with that money?

Isn’t buying milk tea and spicy snacks more appealing?

Students are the place where young people are concentrated the most in this society, and young people will sooner or later become the backbone of this society.

So without influence among the student community, it is destined not to become a mainstream sport.

To promote domestic football development, professional football schools are not the key, a broad grassroots is the key.

And grassroots can only be attracted by being free and simple.

From Dota to League of Legends and then to Arena of Valor, the game operations become increasingly simpler, which led to their widespread popularity, thereby allowing the esports industry to directly enter the fast lane in the country from a tough development period.

In terms of difficulty, football is even ”simpler” than basketball, not to mention video games.

Dribbling a basketball is something many cannot do, but everyone can kick a football.

Of course, this is referring to the level of public entertainment, not the professional level.

From a professional standpoint, football is much more difficult than basketball.

So, for football to become the world’s largest sport, its foundation has always existed, it’s just that ”equipment-wise”, difficulties appeared in China, with everyone just having no field to play on.

To solve the football problem, top fields are just vanity projects, real community-level free fields are the most important thing.

However, the three-part plan kicked out by Lu Yang’s Football Foundation, for landmark stadiums, countless sponsors rush to invest, even willing to reduce investment ratio.

It’s that kind of thing where I invest Ten Million, you can count it as Seven Million.

For provincial-level stadiums, there are countless responders.

Only for the community-level free fields, no one cares.

Therefore, this part can only be fully undertaken by Lu Yang’s Football Foundation.

Bai Yanbai is the top news host domestically, what kind of investment and people hasn’t he seen?

Some people do charity at every turn, tens of millions plus tens of millions, but in fact with tax avoidance, these people don’t actually lose.

Some others say they are doing public welfare, but in fact, it’s to set things up, one day ultimately reaping a wave in return, isn’t that a reward?

Really willing to do something for a beloved industry like Lu Yang...

”This endeavor is difficult, destined to be thorny, even more difficult than Lu Yang’s football career in Europe. But I hope Lu Yang can succeed, because it means... turning a football desert into a football paradise!” Bai Yanbai concluded emotionally, ”Let’s send heartfelt wishes to Lu Yang!”

”Lu Yang, keep it up!”

...

”China’s Football Godfather! Lu Yang will build more than seven hundred free fields!”

”Kicked himself silly with the ball? An overly idealistic goal is bound to fail!”

”The field incubation trilogy, the first two tunes are delightful, but the third is destined to fail!”

”Financial mogul predicts Lu Yang’s plan will completely fail within three years! Five years later will halt entirely! Because football in China simply doesn’t deserve seven hundred free fields!”

”I have already foreseen Lu Yang’s tearful expression after losing a fortune! He might be great at football, but he’s terrible at investing!”

”In China, not a single investor would put money into building community free fields! Because it simply can’t make money!”

”Breaking news! Lu Yang personally promised, as long as community fields exist, they will always provide free access for football enthusiasts, never charging!”

”The Eternal Deity! Lu Yang’s field incubation plan shakes the World Football! Italian Football Association President Martivini states the association will provide all help for the rise of Chinese Football!”

”Maniero: Under Lu Yang’s advice, Italy National Team starts the Chinese player talent plan, recruiting young footballers from China, they will receive training and match plans identical to Italy’s youth players!”

”AC Milan: We have reached a cooperation agreement with a certain Beijing team!”

”Juventus: Warmly celebrate Juventus achieving cooperation with local top teams in Guangzhou!”

”Italian Football Association: This year’s Italian Super Cup will still be held in China! The specific location is tentatively set in Shanghai!”

”UEFA: This year’s European Super Cup will be held at Beijing Bird’s Nest Stadium in China!”

Changed!

Everything has changed!

National Team might still be rubbish, but Chinese Football has received attention from various regions and industries.

Lu Yang’s presence has shattered the stereotype that Asians can’t play football.

At the very least, top youth football talent can also emerge from Asians, and it’s the versatile players that everyone is currently lacking!

High football IQ, certain skills, certain physique, good stamina endurance, stable emotions not causing trouble... these are all advantages of Asian players.

Compared to areas like Europe and America where football talent has been monopolized, China seems to have the potential to become the next ”football laborer” gold mine.

Many clubs, financially struggling, have immediately turned their gaze to this land.
