I AM the Football Star

Chapter 304: Chapter 96: That’s It? I Think It’s Mediocre!

Camihong dribbles forward.

After a wall pass with Fernandez, he tries to go down the flank, but the opponent is not fooled by this simple play and keeps on him.

He doesn’t take risks and passes back to Fernandez.

Fernandez makes a cross-field pass to Lu Yang, who finally finds space.

Lu Yang holds the ball near the white line of the midfield circle on Samp’s side, pretending to be ready to dribble past.

But when the opposing player rushes towards him, he makes a backheel pass and sends the ball back to Morici in their own defense.

The Samp players press continuously, but the ball goes from San Remo’s backfield to the front field and then back to the defense again.

This control over the ball is despairing.

It’s also what aggressive teams fear most after losing the ball.

Control the game!

San Remo is controlling the game!

They’ve taken control of the pace of the game.

Whether to play fast or slow, it’s up to them.

More specifically, it’s up to Morici.

”At the beginning we attack aggressively, Lu, it’s time to unleash your long-range shots that were sealed in training, I know you can do it. This is a tactical run by Fernandez, Becher’s, and Sogel to provide cover, and there’s only one goal!”

”I will likely give you a fast, spinning, and dropping pass forward, and how to get this ball into the goal is the only problem you need to solve.”

”If we’re lucky enough to take an early lead, don’t doubt it, they will definitely launch a fierce attack. At this time, I need all players to start moving! The two wingers should fall back more often at this time, and Lu Yang, you keep running! The important thing is Camihong and Matias, you also need to move up more during this period.”

”Matias, I know you don’t like crossing the half line, you don’t need to press too high up, just give me an option to pass.”

”Camihong, I require you to advance into the opponent’s half when appropriate. But pay attention... unless I give a clear instruction, even if you advance, do not cross the ball, Lu Yang and Fernandez will support you, what you need to do is pass back, and then quickly return to position.”

”We need to control the ball, to exhaust their anger and passion.”

”Except for Lu Yang, apart from the opponent’s defenders or goalkeeper making serious mistakes that lead to a great scoring opportunity, I don’t want anyone to act against the tactics.”

”We need to win the entire war, not lack goals, but the premise is to act in accordance with tactical requirements. Instead of neglecting the team’s arrangement for some goal, resulting in us being suppressed in the overall tactics.”

”As long as we suppress the opponent’s tactics, everyone will have better opportunities, understand!”

”What we want today is definitely not just a narrow win of one to zero or two to one, understand?”

These words, Morici said in the car before.

The day before and earlier on during training, everyone practiced a little.

But many, especially the new players who joined San Remo, absolutely didn’t expect Morici’s prediction to be so accurate.

Moreover, following Morici’s requirements made it really much easier.

Clearly, nothing happened in the next ten minutes.

But the players of San Remo felt they had the upper hand, playing extremely comfortably.

While the opponent went from excited to cold, from active to less active.

Although they continued to press, the distance they pressed visibly shortened.

Their actions weren’t as aggressive.

After ten minutes of high-intensity pressing.

They were a bit tired and needed a one or two-minute break.

Meanwhile, their will was also lulled.

Boiling a frog in warm water.

The situation was so gentle, like a friendly match, even some of Samp’s fans were yawning.

”He is controlling the situation, he has grown!” Old Tom felt a bit incredulous.

Morici was not the Morici he used to be.

In terms of control at least, Morici has improved a lot.

All along, everyone thought that Morici was only suitable for speeding up, unable to become a top-tier midfield commander.

He lacked the highest level of sorting and organizing ability, he might join a giant team in the future, become a starting midfielder, or even a top star, but he just couldn’t become a top command leader.

But now... he seems to have stronger strength and potential.

”In these few months, he has benefited a lot. In fact, though work-rest balance is a relatively efficient way to work and learn. To achieve the best effect, there should be a period of long-time rest in a certain time segment.” Sotu said, ”Learn, precipitate, attain enlightenment, accumulate, precipitate, attain enlightenment again... it’s not something that can be comprehended in just a few days.”

”Things a person has experienced in the past ten years can take several months to digest. Things experienced in decades can take one, two, or even three years to completely digest!”

”This injury has made Morici the best Morici he could be so far. A serious but not very serious injury without any sequelae can instead lead to player evolution.”

”Of course, the premise is that the player is smart enough to understand his career from a philosophical level.”

Bang!

He suddenly sat up in his deathbed, opening the ball large-foot Morici!

When everyone was drowsy, Morici sent a long pass that shocked everyone awake.

Fernandez got a hand signal hint from Morici, positioned himself in advance, beat the offside trap, reached the bottom line for the ball, unmarked!
