Hogwarts: I Am an Exemplary Wizard

Chapter 935: Chapter 747: Six Hundred Years of Reputation, Is That All? (Part 3)

So... Kael was called over.

”What on earth is going on, is that memory fake?” Harry asked. 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ

”No, I can assure you, the memory must not be fake.” Dumbledore shook his head, ”As for what happened in between... I fear there’s only one person who knows.”

He looked up at Kael, ”Can you tell me what’s going on?”

”Didn’t Nicolas tell you?” Kael blinked, ”Just like Ravenclaw’s Diadem, this was originally Voldemort’s Soul Artifact, which I found and gave to Nicolas. He handled it for me.”

Dumbledore’s mouth twitched twice.

Nicolas again?

Dumbledore still remembered, after learning about the Diadem, he specifically went to Nicolas’ estate to ask if there was anything else he was hiding from him.

At the time, Nicolas swore wholeheartedly, using his over six hundred years of credibility, claiming there was absolutely nothing else.

Dumbledore believed him.

How long has it been? He suddenly pulled out a Golden Cup.

Over six hundred years of credibility, and this is it?

In that instant, Nicolas’ image in his heart crumbled.

Liar... They’re all liars!

Dumbledore took quite some time to calm himself, deciding to temporarily skip this topic.

”Then, how did you find this Soul Artifact?”

Harry also looked over, equally curious.

”It’s a coincidence.” Kael said, ”Previously, Lucius Malfoy had picked up a diary. So I thought maybe other Death Eaters might also have Soul Artifacts, and I took the time to visit the ancestral home of the Lestrange Family.”

”And then you found the Golden Cup there?” Harry couldn’t help but ask, his tone full of disbelief.

”Um... Sort of.” Kael nodded.

Not just Harry, even Dumbledore felt speechless.

Since when did finding Soul Artifacts become so simple? Until now, they hadn’t a single clue, but Kael happened to find one just by visiting a Death Eater’s ancestral home?

Dumbledore took several deep breaths, and although it was hard to believe, he accepted it.

After all, this wasn’t the first time, every Soul Artifact found so far was related to Kael.

Experiencing it multiple times, one gradually gets used to it.

Dumbledore put down the Golden Cup and then asked seriously, ”Kael, I now need you to tell me honestly, do you have any Soul Artifacts we don’t know about? This is very important.”

Earlier, he certainly didn’t think one person could find so many Soul Artifacts within a few years, even after knowing about the Ravenclaw Diadem.

But now it’s different, reality has bluntly told him, Kael can.

”No more, I promise!” Kael said.

He truly had no more; the remaining diary, Diadem, and Pendant Box, Dumbledore already knew about.

Originally, he also snatched Voldemort’s snake, but it wasn’t used as a Soul Artifact by Voldemort; it was at Newt’s place right now.

Dumbledore looked into Kael’s eyes, and after a long time, slowly nodded and sat back down.

”I believe you.” He said, ”But Kael, you really shouldn’t have kept such important things secret. If I hadn’t called you today, you weren’t planning to tell me, were you?”

”If I had that thought, Harry wouldn’t even be able to see this Golden Cup.” Kael shrugged.

”Besides, the Golden Cup has always been at Nicolas’ place. I just got it this Christmas.”

He certainly won’t take the blame for this; when he took out the Golden Cup in the Hospital Wing earlier, he didn’t intend to hide it from Dumbledore. If he only wanted Slughorn to help test whether those wines could still be drunk, he could have used a different cup entirely.

”I’m sorry, Kael.” Dumbledore sighed, ”But as I said, this matter is very important; we must take it seriously.”

”I understand.”

”Um...” Dumbledore glanced at the Golden Cup again, ”Can it stay with me for a few more days?”

”Can’t you look at it now?” Kael hesitated a little.

This thing is no longer a Soul Artifact, Dumbledore doesn’t need to keep it... What if he still remembers when I took his tea?

”Don’t worry, I’ll return it within a week at most,” Dumbledore said.

”Well... alright.” Kael hesitated for a moment but finally nodded.

However, just to be safe, when leaving the Headmaster’s Office, he casually picked up Fawkes from the perch.

Dumbledore’s mouth twitched again but said nothing.
