Hogwarts: I Am an Exemplary Wizard

Chapter 908: Chapter 738: Return to the Original Owner_3

”It’s so beautiful...” Conna couldn’t take her eyes off it.

Besides its ability to repel the Killing Curse, the design alone could capture the hearts of countless witches.

”Kael, I remember you also studied alchemy with Nicolas,” Conna asked curiously, ”Can you make something this impressive too?”

”Of course I can.” Kael nodded, but his voice carried a hint of unease.

Conna’s belief in him made Kael very happy, but to be honest, she believed in him a bit too much.

How long has Kael been studying alchemy? Just a few years at most, and alchemy is not like school subjects; it’s more like a narrow-necked bottle, revealing more unknown areas as you go deeper.

Trying to measure up to Nicolas at this time was a bit too overconfident.

He even felt that Dumbledore might not be able to create something with that design.

However, in front of Conna, he couldn’t admit that; after all, it was just the two of them here, so Kael wasn’t worried about being exposed at all.

Conna looked at it a bit longer and suddenly thought of something.

”By the way, Kael, what’s your gift? Open it up and take a look, maybe it’s the same thing.”

Hearing Conna say this, Kael’s heart suddenly became tense.

Would Nicolas give him something that could block the Killing Curse?

Kael wasn’t sure either.

He took out his own golden box, took a deep breath, and excitedly untied the strap on it.

Nothing jumped out from inside, and Kael didn’t hear Nicolas’s voice. All signs indicated that this was just an ordinary box.

Inside was lined with a velvet cushion, and on the cushion lay a golden item roughly the size of a small mirror.

”What’s this, a pocket watch?” Conna leaned forward, looking at the item in the box with curiosity, ”Strange, why does it have five hands?”

”No, it’s not a pocket watch,” Kael’s expression gradually turned serious, ”It’s a Time Turner.”

”A Time Turner?”

”That’s right.” Kael said solemnly, ”And it’s a Time Turner from a thousand years ago.”

He was extremely familiar with this object because it was due to this that he could meet the four founders of Hogwarts in the Chamber of Secret.

But later, it broke, and was quite thoroughly broken, so Dumbledore sent it to Nicolas for repair.

A few years ago, to provide the immense magic power needed to activate the Time Turner, Nicolas even came to Hogwarts to borrow a small bottle of his Nirvana Ashes.

Kael adjusted the Time Turner in his hand, and through the hollowed-out gaps on the sides, he could clearly see the red light flashing inside.

The Philosopher’s Stone... though much smaller, it was complete, capable of turning the base metals into gold and creating the Elixir of Life.

Clearly, after almost four years, Nicolas had finally repaired it!

But Kael couldn’t understand why he would give the Time Turner to himself, wasn’t it supposed to be given to Dumbledore?

Could it be that Dumbledore had already used it?

Kael pondered for a while and then shook his head.

Probably not... If Dumbledore had used the Time Turner, he would definitely have shown it afterwards.

Whether he was disappointed or happy, or something else, it would have been different from usual.

But in his memory, Dumbledore had always been the same, never changing.

And judging by the color of the Philosopher’s Stone, there was no trace of it being used.

This was strange, something Dumbledore had longed for, why would Nicolas give it to him instead?

It just didn’t make sense.

Kael instinctively took out the parchment he could use to contact Nicolas, wanting to get to the bottom of it.

But just as he lowered his head, he saw the parchment sprouting a long passage of text from nowhere... From between the lines, one could clearly feel how angry the other person was at the moment.

”What’s that?” Conna asked curiously, looking at the parchment.

”Nothing, just the Charm Class homework for the holiday, I picked up the wrong one just now.” Kael said, calmly putting the parchment back and placing it at the very bottom of the Transfiguration Lizard Skin Bag.

Forget it, it’s somewhat inappropriate to ask now, I’ll find another time to ask later.
