Hogwarts: I Am an Exemplary Wizard

Chapter 931: Chapter 746: The Lucky Gryffindor (Part 2)

He walked lightly over to the Gryffindor table, with Lavender joyfully following beside him, watching him with an admiring expression.

”Oh, did they reconcile so quickly?” Neville came over from behind, saying somewhat surprised.

”What do you mean?” Kael asked.

”You don’t know,” he said. ”Just now, Ron and Lavender had a big argument in the common room, seemingly because of Romilda Vane. At the time, Lavender was very angry, and Ron didn’t explain, he just kept saying it was a misunderstanding.

”I thought they would continue arguing. I didn’t expect them to reconcile in less than twenty minutes, it’s really... magical?”

Neville shook his head, really not knowing how to describe it.

Kael also found it quite miraculous, but didn’t care too much; maybe Ron told the truth.

Those who frequently drink Love Potion all know that the feeling is uncontrollable, and there’s no need to find it strange whatever happens.

The two of them sat down beside the Hufflepuff table.

”Who do you think will win this match?” Conna asked.

”It should be Gryffindor, right,” Kael said. ”If Harry performs normally.”

At that moment, Vaisey had already been pulled out, but he seemed to have had his arm broken, so he definitely couldn’t play.

In this way, both Slytherin and Gryffindor are missing a main player, bringing the situation back to how it was at the beginning.

The two chatted while having breakfast.

Soon, the messengers arrived.

A large group of owls flew eagerly into the auditorium, dropping letters and parcels into everyone’s hands.

The most noticeable were three owls flying side by side, sharing a string in their claws, carrying a large parcel directly towards Hufflepuff.

With a thud, the round parcel landed on the table, making a dull sound and rolling forward a couple of times, knocking over several plates and a jug of pumpkin juice along the way.

”Oh, these owls are definitely not postal messengers, too rude.” Wiping his face splattered with pumpkin juice, Mikel looked at the parcel with undisguised curiosity.

”Whose is this?”

”There’s a letter, just check the name and you’ll know,” Ryan leaned in. ”Hogwarts Auditorium, Hufflepuff table, Miss Conna Prince...

”Conna, what did you buy?”

”Huh?” Hearing Ryan’s words, Conna, who was also curious about what it was, suddenly froze. ”For me?”

”Of course, it has your name on it,” Ryan handed over the letter, ”you didn’t know?”

”I didn’t know, and I haven’t bought anything,” Conna said puzzledly, taking the letter.

She took just one glance and knew what it was about.

”It’s sent by The Most Extraordinary Society of Potioneers.”

Conna suddenly became excited, grabbing Kael’s arm with excitement, ”They said I passed... I became an official member of The Most Extraordinary Society of Potioneers!”

Immediately, there was a gasp around, causing everyone to instinctively turn and look.

Although some lower-grade wizards didn’t know what The Most Extraordinary Society of Potioneers was, from the surprised expressions of the sixth and seventh-grade students around, they could guess it was quite a remarkable organization.

”Congratulations,” Kael said with a smile, ”but didn’t you already know? Professor Slughorn hinted at it in the first Potion Class.”

”That’s different,” Conna said solemnly, ”Until the real result comes out, everything else is just speculation.”

Conna held the letter and read it again, then poured out another item from the envelope.

It was a delicate blue badge with an image of a cauldron emitting smoke, which also served as proof of membership for The Most Extraordinary Society of Potioneers.

Professor Slughorn wore an identical badge on his robe, and he wore it at every gathering.

”Really impressive,” Ryan marveled, ”You might be the youngest member, I remember Professor Slughorn saying so.”

”For now, it seems so,” Conna nodded. ”Kael, I feel like you’re a bit disappointed.”

”Indeed, a bit,” Kael said. ”I thought they would be more formal about it, didn’t expect it to be delivered by owl.”

”Did you think it was a Merlin Order Medal?” Conna retorted, annoyed.

Kael shrugged, making no comment.

Even without a ceremony, having Professor Slughorn present it could work, and if they made a big deal, maybe they could even earn Hufflepuff an extra hundred points.

”Wait, did you forget the parcel?” Justin suddenly said.

With his reminder, Conna remembered that there was a parcel sent along with the letter.

At the same time, the commotion attracted the curiosity of others.

”What’s in here?” Cho came over to ask.

”I don’t know, the letter didn’t say,” Conna shook her head.

”Can you open it?” Mikel asked eagerly.

”Of course, no problem,” Conna said, ”Actually, I’m curious too.”

With Conna’s permission, Mikel immediately opened the package.

But when he removed the last layer of kraft paper and saw the item inside, his face showed a disappointed expression.

”How stingy,” Mikel muttered, ”Conna, you might be disappointed, they only sent you an old cauldron.

”Tch, even if it’s a cauldron, couldn’t they afford a new one?”

Really... Kael instinctively looked over.

The package wasn’t fully unwrapped, with only half exposed.

It was indeed a cauldron, but red in color, covered with what seemed like knife scratches, looking broken and old at first glance.
