Hogwarts: I Am an Exemplary Wizard

Chapter 861: Chapter 722: The Second Undercover Agent? (Part 3)

”The benefit of doing it this way is that it saves ten minutes, as the grass roots react more easily with the potion after being roasted, and it’s more stable, reducing the chance of error... at least my roommate Mikel hasn’t made a mistake at this step since learning this little trick.

”Additionally, this discovery also earned her quite a few extra points in the evaluation of The Most Extraordinary Society of Potioneers.” ℴ

Hermione had her head down, lost in thought.

Kael also knew that this was just her personality, and it wouldn’t change just because he said a few words, so he didn’t explain further.

”Alright, I’ve lent you my notes, and whether you choose to use them is up to you.”

With that, Kael turned and left.

Harry sneaked a glance at Hermione, then discreetly slipped the notes into his pocket, with an instinctive feeling that they would be useful.

After all, he couldn’t quite manage what was in the book anyway. Now that there’s another method, why not give it a try?

Meanwhile, back in the common room, Kael quickly forgot about this matter; lending the notes to Harry was just on a whim since he already knew the material and had no use for them.

In the common room, Susan Bones was sitting in an armchair, silently crying, presumably having received a letter from home.

But since she was still in the common room, it was apparent that the Bones family didn’t intend to take her away.

Thinking about it, Amelia Bones was almost killed in the Ministry of Magic despite the protection of so many Aurors, so there’s no need to mention other places.

There’s no place safer than Hogwarts.

Besides Dumbledore, Professor McGonagall and Professor Flitwick are also renowned figures in the Magic Realm. Even if more Death Eaters come, they can still ensure the students’ safety.

Many are desperately trying to get into Hogwarts, and you can see this from the bustling Hogsmeade Village, and this is just the beginning. More people will surely come later.

It won’t take long, probably after the Daily Prophet reports on Amelia Bones.

By then, those students who dropped out and went home should return if their parents aren’t fools.

Of course, those who chose to go to other countries to avoid the chaos don’t count, like Midgen from the sixth grade, whose father arranged her withdrawal a few days ago, took her away in the afternoon, and the whole family moved to France by night.

She’s probably at Beauxbatons by now.

It’s a viable option, at least ensuring the family’s safety.

But most people don’t want to leave.

At this moment, beside Susan, Conna and a few other girls were comforting her.

Kael watched them, hesitating whether to say something when he suddenly thought of Amelia and something Dumbledore once said.

He said he received news of the Death Eater’s plans against the Ministry of Magic and that’s why he went there.

Kael hadn’t given it much thought at the time, but now he wonders, who passed on that information?

The only person Kael knew as the Order of Phoenix’s informant among the Death Eaters was Snape.

But Snape has been teaching at the school recently and isn’t aware of Voldemort and the Death Eaters’ plans, and Voldemort wouldn’t specially send him a letter.

That means there must be a second informant.

And this person must have a certain level of importance to know about such significant plans against the Ministry of Magic in advance.

But who?

... Malfoy?

It’s possible but unlikely.

Malfoy, who is adept at protecting himself, wouldn’t undertake any substantial action even if he had thoughts of betraying Voldemort, let alone secretly passing information to Dumbledore.

They would only choose sides once the outcome is clear.

If it’s not Malfoy, then who could it be?

Kael meticulously recalled the names of the Death Eaters but couldn’t find one that fit the criteria.

It certainly couldn’t be Bellatrix passing the information... Kael glanced at the common room, his eyes resting on an armchair.

If Bella really passed the information, then he’d eat that armchair with marmalade.
