Hogwarts: I Am an Exemplary Wizard

Chapter 855: Chapter 720: Professor Babbling’s Warning_3

From the direction the two were moving, it wasn’t difficult to determine that they were also headed to the Hospital Wing. After all, this path only leads there.

”Is someone from Gryffindor injured too?” Kael asked.

”It’s Ron.” Harry sighed, ”During Quidditch training, a Bludger hit his head.”

”...Alright.” Kael was a bit at a loss for words.

Fred and George managed to make Bludgers more obedient than Puffskeins when they were only in their third year. Yet Ron, in his sixth year, still gets hit.

But maybe it’s because his position is different; after all, Ron is the Keeper and normally wouldn’t deal with Bludgers.

”Have you started training so soon?” Kael changed the subject.

”Because the competition is intense,” Harry explained. ”There are five people wanting to be the Keeper, and Ron was pretty nervous, so he thought he’d practice ahead of time during breaks. If I had known this would happen, I wouldn’t have lent out all the Quidditch balls.”

”By the way, what are you heading to the Hospital Wing for?”

”Visiting my roommate,” Kael said. ”He had a bit of a mishap in class and got hit on the head.”

”Speaking of which,” Harry said with lingering fear, ”I nearly got hit on the head by a cauldron the other day, during Potion Class.”

”What happened?” Kael asked curiously. ”Neville’s grades shouldn’t be high enough for the advanced class.”

”It was me.” Harry’s face flushed a bit. ”I learned for the first time that adding ingredients late can actually cause the cauldron to explode.”

”Although Professor Slughorn insisted it was my negligence, I feel like he was a bit disappointed.”

”Because of your Potion Class grades?”

”Yes.” Harry nodded, ”He thinks I should be a Potions genius like my mom, but I can’t even cut a Sopophorous Bean properly.”

”Wait...” Kael suddenly realized something. ”Did Professor Slughorn reward Felix Felicis in your Potion Class?”

”Yes, and Hermione got it,” Harry finally felt a bit better. ”You know, there’s nobody more outstanding than Hermione in sixth year.”

”Ah, I was just lucky,” Hermione said from the side, trying hard to look calm.

In fact, she was so excited that she didn’t sleep for several days after receiving the Felix Felicis.

”How about you? Did you get the reward?” Harry asked.

”No.” Kael shook his head, ”It was Conna.”

Harry suddenly realized but wasn’t too surprised; he knew Conna had gone for the assessment by The Most Extraordinary Society of Potioneers during the holiday and had knowledge about it, knowing it was the most authoritative Potion association in the Magic Realm.

Thinking about it now, Harry still felt a bit envious.

Others could join the most powerful Potion organization by seventh grade, while he, in sixth grade, still couldn’t complete the classroom tasks.

”Here’s the thing...” Kael suddenly said, ”If you don’t mind, I can lend you last year’s notes. There are some brewing techniques written down that should help you.”

”Really?” Harry’s eyes lit up.

”What’s the big deal, it’s just a note,” Kael laughed, ”I’ll look for it when I get back, and bring it to you at dinner.”

”Really appreciate it.” Harry said gratefully, ”Honestly, I suddenly found Potions quite interesting after Snape was gone, but my grades were too bad before.”

”Can I also have a look?” Hermione asked.

”Of course, not a problem.” Kael nodded, ”You can use the Doubling Charm to copy it, but note that some content might differ from the textbook. If you’re okay with that.”

”Different from the textbook?” Hermione frowned.

”A Potion Master’s own little techniques, which I noted down,” Kael said, ”But I guarantee those techniques are really useful... after all, ’Advanced Potion Making’ hasn’t changed in decades, and much of its content is outdated.”

Hermione opened her mouth but said nothing.

Actually, she was more inclined towards the textbook rather than these so-called tricks, but since Kael recommended them, she decided to give them a try.

Chatting along the way, they quickly reached the corridor of the Hospital Wing.

”Are you going to Hogsmeade this weekend?” Hermione suddenly asked, ”The notice said next week is the first Hogsmeade visit.”

”I don’t know yet.” Kael thought for a moment, ”If there’s nothing else, I should go...”

Before Kael could finish speaking, a burst of fire appeared in front of them, and Fawkes appeared before the three.

It stared straight at Kael, chirping softly.

”Sorry Harry, Hermione.” Kael’s expression turned serious. ”Can you convey my regards to Ryan? I might have something to attend to and won’t be able to visit the Hospital Wing for now.”

”Oh, no problem.” Harry said.

”You...”

Before he finished his words, Fawkes landed on Kael’s shoulder and disappeared again.

The two looked at the empty corridor, exchanging glances.

”Was that... a Phoenix?” Hermione asked first.

”Yes, Professor Dumbledore’s Phoenix,” Harry said. ”I saw it when I previously went to the Headmaster’s Office.”

”So Professor Dumbledore is looking for Kael?” Hermione continued to ask, ”What do you think it’s about?”

”I don’t know either.” Harry said, ”Probably related to the Order of Phoenix. Remember the lesson Professor Dumbledore gave me a few days ago? He told me Kael was actually involved in many Order of Phoenix matters. He also said if he’s not at school, I could seek Kael’s help if needed.”

Hermione glanced in the direction where the Phoenix had disappeared. ”It seems Professor Dumbledore really trusts him.”

”Obviously.” Harry said.
