Global Game: I Have Portable Store

”Damn it.”

Holding a red fire axe, wearing a white baseball cap, the muscular man realized what was happening, seeing his two companions lying on the ground, heads separated, anger appeared on his face. He swung the axe towards Su Changxing, heavy and powerful, creating a gust of wind.

But such a move was too slow in front of Su Changxing, like a PPT moving frame by frame, each frame clearly visible.

One blade deflected the red fire axe, another pierced through his chest.

At the same time.

Su Changxing took a step back, disappearing once again on the street, as if he had never appeared, leaving behind three corpses on the ground.

This scene left the three standing in fear, at a loss, looking around, they noticed Su Changxing standing where he was before, displaying a stiff, sinister smile, calmly watching them, his silver-white machete dripping with bright red blood.

Without anyone giving an order, the three simultaneously ran back, the invisible terror completely shattering them, feeling that everything was unfathomable.

Of course, Su Changxing wouldn’t let them leave, he strode after them, the power in his hands accumulating again, blue willow-like patterns appeared on his pale arm skin.

Everything around became slow, blurred and chaotic, he seemed like a hot radioactive object, affecting everything nearby.

They seemed to have been running for a long time.

The middle-aged man, wearing sunglasses and a slicked-back hairstyle, turned his head in fear, shouting: ”Corpses!”

At this moment, he couldn’t say anything else.

The three corpses were still at their feet, they had returned to the origin, seemingly never having left.

Why use ”again”...

From the start, they had been running, hunted by these terrifying things, then falling one by one...

Looking back again, the zombie didn’t know when it appeared behind them, and the captain’s corpse they didn’t know when was already on the ground, cut in half at the waist, his hands still crawling forward, running until completely lifeless, falling to the ground.

Taking another step forward, his left foot stepped on a broken longbow, making a crisp sound, frighteningly loud, he jumped in shock, stepping back two steps, a hand grabbed his shoulder, a pale hand, not human-like, not zombie-like either, with blue willow-like patterns flowing on it, showing an unusual beauty.

”Hiss hiss hiss~”

The zombie roared, as if saying something, but he couldn’t understand it at all, after all, they were not of the same race, and he hadn’t studied zombie language.

”What, what are you saying?” he asked back, realizing the thing had extraordinary intelligence.

Su Changxing felt helpless, realizing he couldn’t make sounds like a normal person, probably because the vocal organs had completely degenerated.

He slowly searched in his backpack, took out the black crystal, shaking it in front of this human, asking evidently what this thing was.

The middle-aged man wearing sunglasses also understood Su Changxing’s meaning, seeing the black crystal, he showed a puzzled expression: ”What is this? I’ve never seen it before.”

Su Changxing fell silent, judging that the human wasn’t lying, then took out a white notebook and a pencil from his backpack.

”Hiss hiss~”

He wrote a line on the notebook, showed it to the other: ”Why are you hunting me?”

The man saw the words on the notebook, becoming more terrified, seeing nothing but something like black bugs crawling over it.

”Hiss hiss?”

Su Changxing also noticed something was wrong, guessing maybe the writing wasn’t understood, after all, they weren’t from the same world, using different script was possible, but it was strange he could understand what the other said.

Not dwelling too much on the matter, realizing this person didn’t know what the black crystal was for, seemed he killed the wrong person, should’ve kept the one with the longbow behind.

”Hiss hiss~”

”Ah?”

Su Changxing swiftly pierced through his heart, decisively ending his life, not letting him suffer too much, feeling quite kind-hearted.

His eyes dimmed, sighed, suddenly realizing too many things unexplained.

The main body could drain power from the clone, the clone could also borrow power from the main body, both inherently connected.

Just before the clone was too weak, unable to bear any power, and now he discovered something else, during the process of mutual connection and power stealing between clone and body, it could cause dispersive, distorted effects on the surrounding environment.

This influence was beyond Su Changxing’s expectations, causing the entire space to tremble, affecting the surrounding creatures, the surrounding space, and even... the timeline.

Su Changxing felt a tinge of unease as well, believing there was something wrong. Such extraordinary influence shouldn’t exist, he also reminded himself secretly that unless absolutely necessary, he shouldn’t use this kind of power.

Handling power beyond one’s control always leads to problems, without exception.

Then, he cleaned up the spoils, picking up items from these people, yielding quite a lot, and discovering three extraordinary crystals, probably from a recent hunt.

Besides that, he also found a band-aid emanating extraordinary power, likely a mysterious item with healing abilities.

Su Changxing tore it open and applied it to the wound on his neck, clearly feeling the wound healing at a faster speed, the bones nearly fully healed, and the flesh starting to meld layer by layer.

Su Changxing put one extraordinary crystal in his mouth, while the other two were thrown into his backpack for later use.

But it wasn’t over yet.

Apart from these six people, one managed to run away, and from a distance, someone was constantly watching him.

Su Changxing pursued in the direction the person had fled earlier and discovered a moderatesized gathering place established in an underground mall. Standing from a distance, he glanced a few times, noticing many figures moving in the firelight, sensing a considerable number of extraordinaries in the gathering place, and then turned away.

...

In the dim small room, there was a burning oil lamp on the mahogany tabletop, although the room was small, there were four or five people standing inside and outside.

”Our squad, including our captain, had six people dead. The target was a zombie with extraordinarily terrifying abilities.” Feng Sichen said listlessly with hollow eyes, lips dry.

Sitting across from him, the man in a black jacket with a stubbly beard was the leader of the gathering place.

This wasn’t an ordinary gathering place; it was established by extraordinaries, with a large number of extraordinaries present, hence daring to be built near the forbidden area.

They had hunted many extraordinary zombies in this region, making it hard to even find an extraordinary zombie now, a scenario of monks having little porridge.

This area around the gathering place was deemed safe by them, yet suddenly a highly threatening zombie appeared, with initial judgment pointing to Su Changxing as a Tier Eight creature.

The growth curve of zombies and humans is different due to factors like intelligence and ability diversity. At Tier Nine, human strength mostly exceeds extraordinary zombies.

But once reaching Tier Eight, the situation completely reverses; a Tier Eight Extraordinary is hardly a match for a Tier Eight Zombie, requiring more extraordinaries to coordinate and possibly besiege it.

A Tier Eight Extraordinary creature itself is a destructive presence capable of destroying a complete gathering place.

”Extraordinarily terrifying abilities? What exactly does that mean?” The leader calmly asked Feng Sichen, interrogating but also observing his condition. Such extraordinaries were prone to losing control.

Feng Sichen took a deep breath, trying to calm himself, but still couldn’t help his little finger from trembling. The past scene was vividly remembered yet gradually blurred, unable to recall what exactly happened. Finally, he said:

”I don’t really know, it seemed like a polluting ability, constantly radiating outward, twisting the surrounding environment, distorting everything.”

Others in the room exchanged looks, silently assessing the truth of Feng Sichen’s words, considering him to be in a chaotic state, making his statements uncertain, potentially mere self-conceptions.

The leader pondered for a moment before speaking again, ”Can you be more specific? We need to ascertain the truth of what you said, specifically describe how they died and how you escaped.”

He sensed the peculiarity within; if what Feng Sichen said was true, then how did he survive?

Feng Sichen frowned, one hand pressing his temple, the other gripping the table’s edge, suddenly tearing off a corner due to excessive force:

”I seem to have been killed, but didn’t die, knowing it’s dangerous, so I just kept running...”

The leader said expressionlessly: ”So you abandoned your team, fleeing alone?”

Feng Sichen’s tone shifted, shaking his head: ”I don’t really know, I remember going back...”

”Leader, it was a terrifying monster that will definitely threaten the safety of the gathering place.”

The leader smiled indifferently: ”That’s not something you need to worry about, and although the table isn’t expensive, damaging public property still requires compensation at cost.”

”...” Feng Sichen fell silent.

”...” Others.

The short-haired woman wearing black-framed glasses and a crop top spoke up: ”Leader, now isn’t the time to talk about this.”

The leader waved his hand, ”I’m just reminding, damaging public property requires compensation at cost, the same applies to you.”

”...” Feng Sichen.
