Global Game: I Have Portable Store

Su Changxing suddenly stopped in his tracks and looked ahead, feeling a tingling sensation on his skin, a sensitive response to changes in the environment.

He could probably guess that these changes were caused by the energy station. Even after such a long time, the influence of the energy station on this world had not weakened but strengthened. All living beings were affected by this and must adapt to survive in this world.

Stronger creatures would involuntarily move towards places with more concentrated energy.

This was likely the reason Su Changxing found it difficult to locate Extraordinary Zombies in this area.

Thinking of this, he didn’t continue forward but looped around and headed back. Although it was easier to find Extraordinary Zombies outside, there was no need to take such a big risk; gradual progress would suffice.

But after walking a short distance, he keenly noticed several red figures appearing far ahead in his line of sight, they were Extraordinaries, at least six people.

He immediately thought of the earlier feeling of being watched.

Although he didn’t think these people were specifically searching for him, they must be hunting Extraordinary Zombies, otherwise there was no need to wander the streets at this time.

Su Changxing immediately changed direction and ran to another street, but those people followed him.

”So the target is me?” He showed a stiff smile, finding it somewhat coincidental that, among so many Extraordinary Zombies, they had chosen him.

Not sure if those people were unlucky or if his luck was good.

He didn’t choose to actively hunt humans, but that doesn’t mean he won’t fight back, especially against Extraordinaries who could threaten him.

...

”He ran, seems he knows we’re looking for him!”

Wei Qi sensed Su Changxing’s sudden movement and immediately said.

Feng Sichen calmly said, ”Lock onto his position, don’t let him escape, I’ll flank him from the side.”

They were determined to acquire that item, and if put on the trading platform for auction, it might fetch an astronomical price.

Wei Qi immediately reminded, ”That Zombie has a decent Perception Ability, you must conceal your presence, or you won’t be able to get close to him.”

Feng Sichen nodded to indicate understanding, put a black scarf around his neck, and moved silently before vanishing into the night.

...

Su Changxing wasn’t worried about those people catching up, considering the streets were filled with Zombies that could slow their speed; catching up wouldn’t be easy.

At that moment, a loud sound came from the left, drawing the Zombies on the street towards it.

The loud noise wasn’t just one sound; there were five, each from a different location.

The loud noise not only caught the Zombies’ attention but also captured Su Changxing’s attention, making him look that way.

But then, the sound of wind stirred past his ears, and Su Changxing realized a high-speed spinning lead rope was shooting towards him from the front. He rolled to the side just in time to avoid it.

He stood up and looked around, trying to find who fired the lead rope but noticed his left foot had suddenly become heavy, a lead rope unknowingly coiled around his left ankle.

At this moment.

He realized the person who shot the lead rope was running to the other side of the street, intending not to battle him head-on but merely to stall him.

Su Changxing reached for his left ankle to pull the lead rope off, but there was nothing to touch. Upon closer inspection, nothing was on his left foot.

”Deceived?” He was momentarily stunned, unexpectedly duped by such a small trick; indeed a very clever trick.

Then, he sensed danger and looked back, seeing an arrow traversing over a hundred meters from the other end of the street towards him, deflected by his Silver-White Machete.

This was a trap, meticulously designed for him.

Why was this?

Su Changxing didn’t believe that an ordinary Extraordinary Zombie was worth such trouble for these people.

The only reason could be there was no need to.

He glanced back at his backpack’s little yellow duck keychain and realized immediately; these people weren’t after him but the Black Crystal in his backpack.

Thinking of this, his mood instead elevated, illustrating the Black Crystal’s complexity, and surely these people knew its purpose too.

”Let’s play then.”

Su Changxing looked back, crouched down, and vanished into the Zombie crowd.

On the other end of this street, six weapon-wielding Extraordinaries were moving towards this direction.

Among them, a middle-aged man with sunglasses and slicked-back hair showed a surprised expression:

”He disappeared, vanished into my Perception; this might not be an ordinary Extraordinary Zombie!”

For a Perception Class Extraordinary, a target vanishing into thin air in his Perception is alarming, akin to an ordinary person seeing someone disappear before their eyes.

This indicates the target’s strength vastly exceeds his.

Su Changxing knew why these people dared to hunt him so recklessly at night; they believed they understood the area, controlled everything, not knowing this was the most dangerous.

Madness often doesn’t stem from ignorance but knowing everything.

When his Clone was just an ordinary Zombie, he was indeed weak, weak enough to live cautiously, not even a match for an Extraordinary Zombie.

However.

Once he possessed a bit of Extraordinary Power, everything changed completely.

For a High-tier Extraordinary, even a little bit of power can be greatly magnified.

Their understanding of power was akin to seeing the big picture from minor details, simpler than eating, drinking, breathing.

In an instant, the whole street became oppressive, a suffocating aura spread.

The middle-aged man with sunglasses had just finished speaking when he felt something was off, his body involuntarily shivered as if a cold wind blew by.

A skinny man with tattoos on his face, holding a Longbow, suddenly widened his pupils and shouted, ”Wrong, what is that?”

Finally, he realized they hadn’t encountered an ordinary Extraordinary Zombie but something terrifying, merely outwardly resembling a Zombie.

”Withdraw!”

He hadn’t even finished speaking when behind him came a scream and the sound of flesh being torn apart.

”Ahhhh!”

Before the six could react, a Zombie with blue glowing eyes wielding a Silver Machete appeared silently behind them.

The Silver Machete transformed into multiple silver lights in the air.

Heads rolled to the ground, not one but two. Two Extraordinary team members died almost simultaneously by Su Changxing’s hand, before they could react.

This scene was only witnessed by Wei Qi, who was dumbfounded, only seeing the beginning and end, as Su Changxing seemed to move from one side of the street to the other in an instant, appearing behind the group and attacking.

”How did he do that?”

He muttered to himself, his left hand holding the binoculars trembling unconsciously; he didn’t know why. Packing the binoculars, he turned and hurried downstairs.

At this moment, invisible terror spread deep within his heart, only he perceived it from his position.

Something’s not right!

He couldn’t pinpoint what was wrong as his mind began to swirl, and earlier events grew hazy.

That Zombie was originally ambushing on the other side of the street...

Feng Sichen never went there...

He gritted his teeth and ran down, accidentally slipping on the stairs and hitting his head against dirty glass, blood erupted.

Feeling somewhat dizzy, he clutched his bleeding forehead, stood against a dark red rusty fire hydrant, kicked away a lunging Zombie, and ran down the street.
