Global Game: I Have Portable Store

Although he didn’t let the follower shout out, some noise was still made.

Adis used his blood-soaked hands to fumble around the follower’s waist, trying to grab his firearms, but couldn’t find them.

He looked around and saw the firearms placed on a rack to the side, feeling relieved that if the firearms were on the follower, he might not have survived just now.

He immediately reached out to grab the firearms from the rack, calming down a bit, at least now having the ability to fight back against the followers outside.

After trying for a moment, he confirmed that these followers were not ordinary people, possessing great strength. If it came to close combat, he probably wouldn’t be a match for them.

”It’s been a while and still no discovery, it seems they haven’t noticed yet.”

Adis let out a breath of relief. Although the follower didn’t shout out just now, some noise was made, which very likely alerted other followers.

Due to their lack of vigilance, no followers came in to check.

He fumbled to strip the black sect robe off the dead follower on the bed, wearing it himself, and put on the hood to cover his face. His physique was quite different from that of the follower.

But that didn’t matter.

He didn’t care about much else, grabbing the keys hanging on the wall, and boldly walked out of the lounge’s large door.

The keys could only open the cells along this corridor, but that was enough.

Adis walked along the corridor, using the keys to unlock the iron doors one by one, leaving them slightly ajar.

The prisoners in the cells were stunned, and more importantly, the other followers hadn’t noticed at first.

One muscular man gestured with a slight smile, observing everything that happened.

Some were visibly excited, having received a heads-up knowing this was an opportunity to escape.

The doors were opened, and the prisoners inside stayed put obediently, maintaining their original postures as if nothing had happened.

Coming in front of Angisun’s cell, Adis was about to use the key to unlock the cell door when he felt footsteps behind him.

”What are you doing!”

A voice questioned from behind him, a follower standing behind him with one hand grasping the firearms at his waist.

”What?”

Adis slowly turned around, emitting a puzzled sound, but his firearms were already raised, pulling the trigger at the follower in front of him.

Fire erupted in the darkness, and the sound of gunfire echoed throughout the dungeon.

The shot hit but was off-target. He originally aimed for the head, but due to his inexperience with this type of firearms, the shot veered significantly. Luckily, it still hit the follower’s body.

The impact from the bullet sent the follower falling backward, but the shot wasn’t fatal, and he raised his gun to retaliate.

Yet before he could fire, he was knocked to the ground by a prisoner who rushed out from the next cell, having his firearms taken away.

Angisun rose, pressing against the iron door and shouted out: ”This is our chance to escape, fight back! Kill this bastard!”

In an instant, chaos erupted in the dungeon; the prisoners from the previously opened cells charged out en masse, lunging at the followers.

Although the firearms were powerful, they needed to be manually reloaded after each shot, and with a large number of prisoners released, even if some were shot dead, there were still plenty left.

Gunfire continuously erupted, accompanied by roars and screams as both sides slaughtered each other.

Adis released Angisun and another person.

”Give me the keys, I’ll open the doors!” shouted a long-haired man with a powerful voice, not looking like a patient at all.

The long-haired man took the keys and distributed them to others.

Angisun stared fiercely at the few followers at the end of the corridor, murderously saying:

”We must take them down and seize their firearms; otherwise, we won’t be able to break out.”

Adis took a deep breath, looking at the firearms in his hands, he said: ”I don’t know how to reload this thing.”

Indeed, he had never truly used firearms, and the shot that hit the follower earlier was mostly a lucky guess.

Under the Empire’s law, commoners were forbidden to possess new weapons like firearms. It was a grave crime punishable by hanging.

Only soldiers and nobility were allowed to use them.

Angisun glanced at him, then took the firearms from Adis’s hands, reloading as he swiftly moved towards the end of the corridor.

With approximately a fifty-meter distance, he hit a follower who was reloading his firearms with one shot.

”What...”

Adis widened his eyes in shock, knowing that it was too far; hitting people with firearms from beyond ten meters was deemed remarkable marksmanship since firearms didn’t have high precision at longer ranges.

So how did Angisun hit?

He was sure it was definitely not just luck.

The sudden gunfire, causing one of their own to suddenly die, startled the other followers.

There were a dozen prisoner corpses on the ground, blocking the corridor’s entrance. Some were shot dead, while others had their heads chopped off.

These followers possessed significant combat skills, being not only strong but also possessing excellent marksmanship, hitting targets almost without missing within ten meters. Even when faced with prisoners vastly outnumbering them, they exhibited no fear, without any casualties beforehand.

After firing one shot, Angisun immediately reloaded, having six bullets left, enough to take down these few followers.

It seemed like a natural ability for him, being extraordinarily accurate with firearms, having previously served in the navy.

The followers quickly noticed Angisun’s presence, shooting at him, but realized after firing that the distance was too far, almost impossible to hit.

Bullets ricocheted off the walls around Angisun, creating sparks without leaving any marks.

Being wary of Angisun’s bullets, the followers at the forefront were distracted, knocked to the ground.

Another shot rang out.

However, this time it missed, as the followers consciously dodged Angisun’s bullets.

Angisun maintained his composure, reloading again, they held the upper hand in this situation with an unending flow of prisoners being released from their cells.

Meanwhile, on the other side, several isolated followers fell to the ground under the prisoners’ siege, stripped of their gear.

Angisun fired once more, killing a follower at the back, but instead of moving forward, instinctively looked back.

At the exit, reinforcements from the Black Rope Sect were arriving.

He turned and ran in that direction, knowing he couldn’t let these people come down easily, or else they would face a coordinated internal and external assault, the promising situation would be lost.
