A Warm Marriage After Rebirth

Chapter 382: Chapter 382: Pulling Faye Sterling’s Fangs (6)

’He’d had a fleeting suspicion, but he dismissed the possibility as too remote. Seraphina Sterling was only eighteen this year. Even if she’d been accepted to a university, she would just be a freshman. She hadn’t even had time to start her studies, so how could she possibly design jewelry as unique as the Ancient Charm Porcelain Ornaments? He never thought his guess would be correct! It really was Seraphina Sterling!’

”What? Does President Sutton think I look like I’m lying? What good would lying to you do me! Miss Sterling is indeed the designer of Ancient Charm Porcelain Ornaments. There is no doubt about it!” Joel Xavier’s words gave Franklin Sutton a definitive answer.

”What? Is President Sutton so shocked that I designed the Ancient Charm Porcelain Ornaments? Perhaps President Sutton has forgotten that I spent some time in Tollan Town, and Apex Collections is an antique shop from Sanford. Tollan Town is less than a two-hour drive from Sanford! Speaking of which, the first time you and I met, President Sutton, was at the stone-betting convention in Tollan Town! Furthermore, the Ancient Charm Porcelain Ornaments first appeared at Fiona Chapman’s birthday party. Mr. Sutton was there at the time. Did he not tell you that it was my gift to Fiona Chapman?”

The moment Seraphina Sterling finished speaking, Franklin Sutton’s expression turned a shade uglier. She swept her gaze over to Kellan Sutton. ”Perhaps Mr. Sutton was too busy chasing Faye Sterling. He must have thought this matter wasn’t as important as pursuing a girl, so he never told you!” 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚

Franklin Sutton glared at Kellan Sutton. ’More of a hindrance than a help! Utterly useless!’ He had thought his son genuinely wanted to help run the family company, but it turned out all his attention was focused on chasing girls! ’What now? He had gone to so much trouble just to meet the designer of Timeless Charm, hoping to discuss a partnership and get her to license the designs to The Sutton Group! But now, before negotiations could even begin, they had already offended her!’

’This was his fault too. Seraphina Sterling had been in Tollan Town for nearly a year. Joel Xavier was from Sanford, and Apex Collections was also based in Sanford. Felix Gallagher had revealed his close relationship with Seraphina Sterling at the stone-betting convention in Tollan Town. And throughout all of Aethelgard, Ancient Charm Porcelain Ornaments were only sold at Apex Collections and Jade Pavilion. On top of that, the jewelry had first appeared in Seraphina Sterling’s possession. With so many clues and coincidences, any intelligent person who put it all together would have guessed that the designer of Ancient Charm Porcelain Ornaments was very likely Seraphina Sterling! It was all his fault for being in such a panic lately that he had overlooked such crucial information!’

”I truly never imagined! For Miss Sterling to be so talented at such a young age, please, come in!” Franklin Sutton’s attitude did a complete one-eighty. Seraphina Sterling was now witnessing firsthand what it meant to see someone change their tune in an instant.

’His attitude was so nasty just a moment ago, and now he expects me to go in just because he says so? Life isn’t that simple!’ Franklin Sutton stepped aside and made an inviting gesture, but Seraphina Sterling didn’t move. She remained right where she was. ”President Sutton, your son repeatedly tried to stop me from entering just now. If I just go in like this, I’m afraid Mr. Sutton will be displeased!”

Upon hearing this, Franklin Sutton immediately shot Kellan Sutton a glare and began to scold him harshly. ”I asked you to greet one person, and you even managed to screw that up! Get over here and apologize to Miss Sterling! How many times have I told you not to judge people by their appearance and to use your brain when you do things? If Miss Sterling doesn’t forgive you today, I’ll cancel all your cards and kick you out of the house!”

Kellan Sutton’s face turned even more sour. This was the first time he had ever been scolded in public. It was utterly mortifying, yet he had no room to argue. Although he hadn’t been with the company for long, he was well aware of The Sutton Group’s current situation. If they couldn’t secure the licensing rights for the Ancient Charm Porcelain Ornaments, The Sutton Group would truly be in a precarious position.
