A Warm Marriage After Rebirth

Chapter 378: Chapter 378: Pulling Faye Sterling’s Fangs (2)

Seraphina Sterling’s soft voice was remarkably clear in the silent private room, the only sound to be heard.

”And when it comes to emeralds, the Sutton Group has no chance of beating an established brand like Jade Pavilion. Right now, the Sutton Group is just a general store, a hodgepodge! They dabble in everything, but they have no core product to support them! That’s why Franklin Sutton is so desperate for the authorization for Timeless Charm! He’s well aware of the problems the Sutton Group is facing, and the only solution is to innovate and create their own brand. That’s why every time he tries to meet with Joel Xavier, Joel repeatedly puts him off, but not only does he not get angry, it only makes him more determined to meet with him! As long as Mr. Gallagher puts heavy pressure on the Sutton Group’s emerald jewelry—preferably to the point where they can’t sell a single Jade Ring—that would be a huge help to me!”

Seraphina Sterling broke into a warm smile, faint dimples appearing on her cheeks. She looked like a harmless little white rabbit, but who would have known that this innocent-looking girl was plotting the downfall of a jewelry empire!

”Suppressing Sutton Jewelry’s emerald business isn’t a problem, but meeting your specific goal will be somewhat difficult. After all, the Sutton Group has its loyal customers, and their client retention is excellent. They invite their clients to the store almost every two weeks. I’ll do my best.” Felix Gallagher was careful not to overpromise. In the business world, things change in an instant, and no one can make a foolproof guarantee against problems. That was impossible; one always had to leave some room to maneuver.

”So, what’s next? What’s your plan?” Wyatt Gallagher interjected. ”You just said it yourself—the Sutton Group deals in more than just emeralds. They have a huge stake in diamonds, gold, and platinum. Simply controlling their emerald business won’t be enough! Even if my dad manages to do what you ask, you won’t be able to take down the Sutton Group. For Franklin Sutton to establish a firm footing in a place as competitive as Aethelgard, and even be ranked one of Apex’s top four jewelers, he must be a capable man!” Although Wyatt Gallagher wasn’t involved in business, it didn’t mean he was clueless.

”Don’t worry. I have my own ways of handling the rest,” Seraphina Sterling said, raising an eyebrow, her face beaming with confidence. ’At Fiona Chapman’s birthday party, Kellan Sutton targeted me at every turn just to curry favor with Faye Sterling. If Zion Hale and Wyatt Gallagher hadn’t stepped in, who knows what horrible things would have been said about me! I let him off the hook that time, but instead of being grateful, he kept coming after me.’

’Aethelgard University, the premier academy in Apex, is incredibly difficult for someone from a small town to get into. It takes so much hard work! If it had been any other ordinary student that day instead of me, Kellan Sutton’s actions could have ruined their entire life! He has no sense of right and wrong. In his eyes, whatever Faye Sterling says is gospel; her word is law. Faye Sterling is truly vicious. No matter what, I have to pull that minion’s fangs! I can’t let him hurt anyone else!’

Felix Gallagher drank his wine and Seraphina Sterling her tea. With business concluded, they chatted casually until lunch was over. Or rather, Seraphina was the first to leave the table; she was off to the adjacent room to meet with Franklin Sutton.

”What are you looking at? She’s already gone, and you’re still staring? If you like her, then go win her over!” Felix Gallagher shot Wyatt a glare. ’This son of mine is nothing like me,’ he thought. ’It’s bad enough he has no interest in business, but he’s even this wishy-washy about chasing a girl! As his father, I can’t even stand to watch anymore!’
