Beneath the Sōkyoku execution platform, the spiritual pressure fluctuations from Ichigo Kurosaki and Mirai Saru’s battle were no less intense than Byakuya Kuchiki and Gin Ichimaru’s.

Two dark figures clashed at incredible speed, their positions constantly shifting, their Zanpakutō colliding with powerful bursts of spiritual pressure.

Rukia Kuchiki watched, dumbfounded, at Ichigo Kurosaki’s unexpected strength. It wasn’t just a simple increase in spiritual pressure; he could also maintain such a fast-paced, high-intensity battle.

”Getsuga Tenshō!”

Ichigo Kurosaki swung his massive Zanpakutō, unleashing a white crescent-shaped blade of energy towards Mirai Saru.

Mirai Saru, however, did not evade, instead thrusting his sword forward, its tip meeting the Getsuga Tenshō.

To Mirai Saru’s surprise, the spiritual pressure contained within the white blade was incredibly powerful and resilient, pushing him backward with unstoppable force. He was unable to maintain his footing.

As Ichigo Kurosaki’s most powerful technique, the Getsuga Tenshō, while appearing simple, was a perfect expression of raw power.

In terms of spiritual pressure, speed, and destructive power, the Getsuga Tenshō unleashed the user’s maximum potential!

This is precisely why Ichigo Kurosaki could use the Getsuga Tenshō to defeat countless powerful opponents!

As Mirai Saru’s Zanpakutō met the Getsuga Tenshō, Ichigo Kurosaki swiftly closed the distance, attacking from the side.

Mirai Saru hadn’t anticipated that directly confronting the Getsuga Tenshō would put him in such a precarious situation. He was unable to sheathe his sword and evade; the Getsuga Tenshō would bisect him before he could react.

A chilling glint flashed in Mirai Saru’s deadpan eyes as he finally released his Zanpakutō.

”Slaughter, Jigoku Shura!”

Mirai Saru’s form blurred, his once-refined features contorting into a grotesque grin.

Ichigo Kurosaki, startled by this transformation, didn’t halt his attack, striking at Mirai Saru, who was still retreating while blocking the Getsuga Tenshō.

However, Mirai Saru’s speed after releasing his Shikai was vastly superior to before. He retreated at a speed exceeding the Getsuga Tenshō’s trajectory, evading Ichigo Kurosaki’s attack and escaping the Getsuga Tenshō’s pursuit.

”Jigoku Zange - Fourth Style: Death by a Thousand Cuts!”

Several indistinct dark figures suddenly surrounded Ichigo Kurosaki, moving with impossible speed.

Before Ichigo Kurosaki could react, these figures relentlessly attacked.

Although Ichigo Kurosaki’s speed was exceptional, rivaling that of a captain-level Shinigami, he couldn’t track these figures. Each attack inflicted a minor wound.

While the individual wounds were small, the sheer speed and density of the attacks quickly accumulated. Within seconds, Ichigo Kurosaki was covered in dozens of wounds, his body drenched in blood.

Rukia Kuchiki, watching from the sidelines, grew increasingly anxious as she observed Ichigo Kurosaki’s deteriorating condition. However, due to her prolonged use of Kisuke Urahara’s problematic prosthetic body, her own power hadn’t fully recovered, leaving her unable to intervene.

Ichigo Kurosaki also realized he couldn’t continue to be on the defensive; prolonged combat would lead to his demise.

With no other choice, Ichigo Kurosaki unleashed his Bankai, his final trump card, though it was not a technique he could sustain for long.

”Bankai: Tensa Zangetsu!”

Ichigo Kurosaki roared, a surge of black spiritual pressure erupting from his body, repelling the surrounding figures.

When the black spiritual pressure subsided, his massive Zanpakutō had transformed into a slender, black blade with a ”卍” shaped hilt.

Besides his weapon, Ichigo Kurosaki’s clothing had also undergone a significant change.

His Shinigami uniform had vanished, replaced by a long-tailed black coat resembling a formal dress.

Ichigo Kurosaki’s Bankai, like his techniques, was simple and brutal. It didn’t grant him any special abilities but provided a comprehensive enhancement to his spiritual pressure, speed, and strength.

This simple power amplification, however, proved to be incredibly effective in combat!

Parrying Mirai Saru’s attack with his black blade, Ichigo Kurosaki smiled. ”I can clearly see your movements now. But honestly, that face of yours is quite ugly.”

With that, Ichigo Kurosaki, possessing speed now on par with Mirai Saru’s, engaged in another high-intensity exchange, this time holding the upper hand due to his Bankai’s enhancement of his spiritual pressure and strength.

At the edge of the battlefield, Retsu Unohana was examining Byakuya Kuchiki and Gin Ichimaru’s injuries.

While using her spiritual pressure to assess Gin Ichimaru’s condition, Retsu Unohana made an unexpected discovery.

She detected that Gin Ichimaru still retained consciousness, indicating that he was merely feigning unconsciousness.

However, Retsu Unohana simply made a soft ”hmm” sound, saying nothing further, continuing to treat their wounds.

”Appear, Minazuki!”

After treating them, Retsu Unohana realized that Byakuya Kuchiki and Gin Ichimaru had inflicted severe injuries on each other, wounds that wouldn’t heal easily. She released her Zanpakutō, summoning a large, seemingly gentle devilfish named Minazuki.

Minazuki nuzzled against Retsu Unohana’s arm, then spat a large quantity of viscous saliva onto Byakuya Kuchiki and Gin Ichimaru.

While the saliva appeared disgusting, it contained potent healing properties.

Under the saliva’s influence, steam rose from Byakuya Kuchiki and Gin Ichimaru’s wounds, which rapidly began to heal.

Within minutes, most of their external wounds had nearly healed.

While the internal injuries would require more time to fully recover, their lives were no longer in danger, and they regained basic motor function.

After the initial treatment, Retsu Unohana addressed Isane Kotetsu, who looked on in admiration. ”Isane, please attend to the remaining wounds for both captains.”

Isane Kotetsu nodded, taking out her medical kit and bandages to begin treating Byakuya Kuchiki and Gin Ichimaru.

Retsu Unohana then handed Isane Kotetsu a small vial of medicine. ”Isane, use this healing agent while bandaging them; it will accelerate their recovery.”

Isane Kotetsu took the vial, frowning. ”Captain Unohana, while the healing agent is highly effective, it causes intense pain. I heard that the last Shinigami who used it nearly had their soul shattered from the pain. Their injuries are now stable; the healing agent shouldn’t be necessary.”

Retsu Unohana smiled faintly. ”Both captains are unconscious; they won’t feel a thing. Use it without worry.”

Isane Kotetsu nodded, about to begin treating Gin Ichimaru, when Gin Ichimaru, who had been lying motionless, suddenly sat up.

”My, my, that was a rather dangerous battle. I seem to have fainted. Lieutenant Isane, please just bandage my wounds. No need to waste that precious medicine on me.”
