Within an ice palace adorned with a circular, star-cross insignia, a black-robed youth sat upon an empty throne in the vast hall.

The youth possessed delicate features, dark hair, and piercing crimson eyes. His expression was devoid of emotion. Behind the throne, a star-cross emblem, formed from spiritual particles, emanated a strange spiritual pressure; countless white orbs continuously flowed into it.

As the white orbs poured in, the star-cross’s spiritual pressure intensified, growing stronger with each passing moment.

This youth was Yhwach, the Quincy King, currently in a period of recuperation, quietly biding his time within the Wandenreich palace, hidden within the shadows of the Seireitei. His power was not yet fully restored, hence his youthful appearance.

He had just unleashed the Auswählen upon the world, successfully reclaiming the power of almost all mixed-blood Quincies. His power was growing.

However, he noted that the spiritual energy of two mixed-blood Quincies in Karakura Town remained unreclaimed.

”Is this their ’fate’? Then let them continue to exist as Quincies for now,” Yhwach mused to himself, his voice only audible in his own thoughts.

For him, the power of two mixed-blood Quincies was insignificant. Having already reclaimed the power of thousands of Quincies, he saw no need to expend additional effort targeting these two. His power was already immense.

However, one had escaped due to a Shinigami’s intervention, while the other possessed an indeterminate power that resisted his Auswählen.

That Quincy who resisted Yhwach’s Auswählen was Uryū Ishida, Ichigo Kurosaki’s future friend. A powerful and unexpected resistance.

Upon returning home, Masaki Kurosaki recounted the day’s events to Shiba Isshin. Shiba Isshin, filled with both relief and apprehension, recognized the individual who had saved his family as his former colleague, Uchiha Yusuke.

Silently registering his gratitude, Shiba Isshin immediately took Masaki Kurosaki to find Kisuke Urahara, who was also hidden in the Human World.

Their purpose was twofold: to ask Kisuke Urahara for help in creating tools to conceal their family’s spiritual pressure and to seek his insight into the mysterious white light that had attacked Masaki Kurosaki. They needed answers and assistance.

Yusuke had returned to Las Noches, quietly observing Mayuri Kurotsuchi, who, with astonishing speed, manipulated the control panel before him, analyzing a complex string of data that even Yusuke couldn’t fully comprehend. His skills were exceptional.

”Any progress? Have you found any clues?” Yusuke asked Mayuri Kurotsuchi, his voice calm and expectant.

He had already provided Mayuri Kurotsuchi with information about the Wandenreich’s hidden location within the Seireitei’s shadow, hoping that Yhwach’s Auswählen would provide an opportunity to locate the Wandenreich. He was hoping for a breakthrough.

Mayuri Kurotsuchi replied slowly, ”Tracing the path of those white spiritual particles, I’ve confirmed that they originated from a different spatial dimension. A significant discovery.”

Mayuri Kurotsuchi paused, his brow furrowing. ”However, I haven’t yet found any clues regarding the location of this spatial dimension or how to access it. The challenge is significant.”

”This ability remains a threat. If we don’t pull him out of that hidden spatial dimension, he’ll remain invincible,” Yusuke said gravely, his voice expressing concern. The situation was serious.

Mayuri Kurotsuchi, for once, admitted the difficulty. He sighed. ”I’ll think of something.”

Yusuke knew that pressuring Mayuri Kurotsuchi wouldn’t yield results. He decided to temporarily abandon the search for Yhwach’s hidden location. Patience was required.

”The most important thing now is to obtain the Hōgyoku from Aizen. According to my calculations, it should be about time for him to act,” Yusuke thought to himself, formulating his next plan.

Back in the Human World, Yusuke continued to focus on Kisuke Urahara. Once Kisuke Urahara’s Hōgyoku became a target, Aizen would inevitably act, providing Yusuke with his opportunity to acquire the Hōgyoku from Aizen. He was patiently waiting.

Seven years later, Seireitei.

Rukia Kuchiki, now a full-fledged Shinigami in the Thirteenth Division, was beaming with joy.

She had just received a mission from Captain Jūshirō Ukitake: to deploy to the Human World to support Shinigami Zennosuke Kurumadani in purification duties. It was an exciting opportunity.

For a rookie Shinigami who had never left Soul Society, this was an incredibly exciting mission. A chance to see the world beyond Soul Society.

Although Rukia was Byakuya Kuchiki’s sister-in-law and considered his adopted sister, she was still somewhat intimidated by her stern brother. She held him in high regard.

After graduating from the Shin’ō Academy, Rukia chose to join the Thirteenth Division under Captain Jūshirō Ukitake, known for his kind and gentle nature. She preferred a more supportive environment.

She was about to head to the Third Division barracks to share the good news with her close friend, Renji Abarai.

She then saw Captain Yusuke and Lieutenant Yū emerging from the Third Division barracks, walking directly towards her.

Approaching Yusuke and Yū, Rukia bowed respectfully. ”Captain Uchiha, Lieutenant Yū.”

Yusuke smiled. ”It’s Rukia. I heard you recently became the Fourth Seat of the Thirteenth Division. Remarkable progress.”

Rukia blushed slightly at Yusuke’s praise. ”No, no, everyone’s just been very kind.”

”Are you off to see Renji again?” Yusuke asked, his tone curious.

Rukia’s face lit up with excitement. ”I received orders to be permanently stationed in Karakura Town in the Human World, assisting Senior Zennosuke. I came to tell Renji. Captain Uchiha, you’re mostly stationed in Karakura Town, aren’t you? I’ll need your guidance.”

Since receiving his permanent assignment to the Human World, Yusuke had spent most of his time there, only occasionally returning to the Seireitei for official duties or to make arrangements within the Fifth Division. He maintained a strong presence in both worlds.

Yusuke smiled. ”Rukia’s going to Karakura Town too? I look forward to your performance. Go find Renji; I won’t keep you young people any longer.”

Rukia nodded and ran towards the Third Division barracks, clearly viewing this mission as a welcome change of pace. She was eager for the adventure.

Watching Rukia’s departing figure, Yusuke said softly, ”Our time here may not be long.”

Hearing Yusuke’s words, Yū felt a profound sense of loss, though her expression remained unchanged. She simply replied with a quiet, ”Mm.”

Although she was prepared for this eventuality, having spent so long in the Seireitei, she had grown accustomed to the life of a Shinigami and considered many of the Gotei 13’s members to be her friends. She valued those relationships.

Now, she only hoped that Yusuke wouldn’t clash with the Gotei 13. She didn’t want to turn her blade against former friends. She hoped for peace.
