Chapter 304: NZNT: Chapter 304

The Hollows released by Yomei Kagawa were merely a distraction to draw Shiba Isshin’s attention; Vizard White, the true experimental subject, had yet to be deployed.

The moment the Hollows appeared, Shiba Isshin, on patrol, sensed a massive surge of unusual spiritual pressure.

”How could so many Hollows suddenly appear?” Shiba Isshin thought, startled.

Despite his surprise, he immediately moved to eliminate the Hollows. If left unchecked, they would attack humans with strong spiritual energy, causing significant casualties and chaos.

While Shiba Isshin dealt with the rampaging Hollows in Karakura Town, a young woman in a luxurious villa sensed the unusual spiritual pressure.

This sixteen or seventeen-year-old girl, wearing a green school uniform and possessing shoulder-length orange hair and striking beauty, was Masaki Kurosaki. She was a rare pure-blooded Quincy and the future mother of Ichigo Kurosaki!

Following the millennia-old Quincy-Shinigami war, the Quincy were decimated. Few pure-blooded Quincy families survived, with the Ishida clan being the largest remaining.

Masaki Kurosaki was an orphan, adopted by the Ishida family matriarch after discovering her pure-blooded Quincy heritage. She was being groomed as a potential daughter-in-law.

The matriarch’s son was Ryūken Ishida, father of Uryū Ishida from the original storyline. The luxurious villa Masaki Kurosaki resided in belonged to the Ishida family.

As Masaki Kurosaki prepared to confront the Hollows, a young man blocked her path.

This man, in his early twenties, tall and slender, impeccably dressed in a suit with neatly styled white hair and gold-rimmed glasses, possessed the air of a wealthy, sophisticated young gentleman.

Masaki Kurosaki’s fiancé, Ryūken Ishida, stopped her, saying, ”A Shinigami is already dealing with the Hollows. According to Quincy custom, we shouldn’t interfere until the Shinigami have finished.”

Masaki Kurosaki smiled, ”That’s your custom, not mine. If I don’t act now, I’ll forever despise my inaction.”

She pushed past Ryūken Ishida and swiftly left the villa.

Ryūken Ishida, concerned for her safety, followed discreetly.

Shiba Isshin battled the frenzied Hollows. A prodigy of the Shiba clan, he had mastered Bankai in less than two hundred years, making ordinary Hollows no match for him.

He quickly eliminated most of the Hollows released by Yomei Kagawa.

Seeing the opportune moment, Aizen personally released Vizard White.

Upon its appearance, Vizard White unleashed spiritual pressure rivaling that of a Gotei 13 captain, immediately sensed by Shiba Isshin.

Despite its name, ”Vizard White,” Vizard White was predominantly black, only its skull mask and long hair being white. Aizen named it ”Vizard White” because, while black on the outside, its interior was entirely white.

Focusing on Shiba Isshin, battling Hollows nearby, Aizen commanded Vizard White, ”That Shinigami is your opponent. Eliminate him.”

Vizard White’s empty eyes flashed with an unnoticed light, and it charged towards Shiba Isshin.

Sensing Vizard White’s superior spiritual pressure and power, Shiba Isshin grew wary. Seeing Vizard White, he muttered, ”A Vasto Lorde?”

While he’d never witnessed a Vasto Lorde-class Hollow, Vizard White’s unusual form and immense spiritual pressure led Shiba Isshin to believe he was facing this legendary creature.

”Burn, Engetsu!”

Realizing Vizard White was formidable, Shiba Isshin immediately activated his Shikai. Crimson flames erupted from his Zanpakutō, engulfing the blade.

Engetsu’s burning blade resembled Ryūjin Jakka in form; determining which Zanpakutō was superior was difficult.

Zanpakutō power depends on the Shinigami’s spiritual pressure. If Yamamoto Genryūsai wielded Engetsu, it might be considered the strongest fire-type Zanpakutō, surpassing Ryūjin Jakka.

Shiba Isshin swung Engetsu, unleashing a fiery slash at Vizard White. Vizard White, unfazed, effortlessly crushed the attack with its left claw.

Simultaneously, a spiritual energy blade materialized in Vizard White’s hand.

Shiba Isshin was surprised; the enemy wasn’t relying on brute force like a Hollow but using swordsmanship like a Shinigami.

Sensing a Shinigami-like spiritual pressure and fighting style, Shiba Isshin was deeply perplexed.

After several exchanges, Shiba Isshin began to lose ground. Vizard White’s speed and spiritual pressure surpassed his own. A prolonged clash would inevitably exhaust him.

His eyes gleaming, Shiba Isshin unleashed one of the most powerful Shinigami techniques.

”Getsuga Tenshō!”

A crimson crescent flash severed Vizard White’s left arm at the shoulder, the powerful shockwave sending it flying back several meters. However, Vizard White’s spiritual pressure remained undiminished, and it immediately attacked again.

”It’s incredibly resilient. I’ll need Bankai to defeat this thing,” Shiba Isshin thought.

His spiritual pressure surged, the flames on Engetsu wildly dancing.

Suddenly, a devastating blow struck Shiba Isshin’s back, its sharp spiritual pressure piercing his own spiritual pressure, leaving a deep wound.

This surprise attack disrupted Shiba Isshin’s Bankai preparation. The attacker, cloaked to conceal his spiritual pressure, was Aizen!

Aizen realized Vizard White wasn’t a match for Shiba Isshin with Bankai, and that Shiba Isshin’s Bankai was heavily reliant on his physical condition. A significant injury would prevent him from using Bankai.

Intending to observe Vizard White’s combat further, Aizen decided to intervene, hindering Shiba Isshin to match Vizard White’s current level.

Spitting out blood, Shiba Isshin roared, ”Who is it?! Whose plot is this?!”

Suspecting Vizard White wasn’t an ordinary Hollow, Shiba Isshin was already suspicious. Aizen’s attack, though partially concealed, revealed his spiritual pressure, Zanpakutō, and Shinigami essence, confirming a Shinigami was orchestrating events.
