Naruto: Zanka No Tachi

Chapter 115: NZNT: Chapter 115

After Yusuke obtained the Scroll of Seals, the Konoha Research Institute developed a directional teleportation sealing array based on the Flying Thunder God Technique.

When Sasuke activated his scroll, a corresponding teleportation sealing array in the Konoha Military Police Force would activate, allowing Itachi to instantly reach Sasuke.

Because the Flying Thunder God Technique is incredibly difficult to master, Yusuke decided to emulate the multi-person Flying Thunder God Formation to create a directional teleportation sealing array.

In the original story, Minato taught the Flying Thunder God Formation to Genma Shiranui, Raidō Namiashi, and Iwashi Tatami. Together, they could teleport a target to a location marked with the Flying Thunder God seal.

Over the years, the Research Institute’s researchers didn’t disappoint Yusuke, successfully overcoming this challenge, which held strategic significance for Konoha.

This teleportation sealing array technology is now used in many important locations in Konoha, especially by the intelligence department, though mostly under Yusuke’s control.

Sasuke realized his opponents were formidable and that this battle was beyond the capabilities of several genin.

More importantly, Kakashi and the temporary ally, the yellow-haired boy, were clearly losing ground. The situation was critical.

While Naruto seemed eager to join the fight, Yota restrained him. Unlike Naruto, Sasuke was more cautious and activated the life-saving item his brother had given him.

The moment Sasuke activated the scroll, Itachi sensed it.

Itachi was working at the Military Police Force headquarters with Izumi, his assistant.

Seventeen-year-old Itachi was the same age as his original appearance.

Because of Yusuke, Itachi didn’t bear the burdens of the original story; he was no longer a rogue ninja but the de facto leader of the Konoha Military Police Force.

His demeanor had changed significantly. He lacked his original melancholy and possessed a sharper edge.

His serious illness from the original story also never appeared. The illness was likely caused by years of emotional distress. Free from that pressure and pain, Itachi was healthy.

Izumi noticed Itachi’s change and asked, ”What’s wrong?”

Sixteen-year-old Izumi, Itachi’s peer, had shed her childishness. She wore a Konoha vest and had her hair tied in a ponytail.

Izumi’s beauty was undeniable; the Uchiha clan possessed exceptional genetics. Izumi was a prime example. Her years of kendo training gave her an air of elegance.

Although Izumi was exceptional and had many admirers, most lacked the courage to pursue her. Those who did mysteriously gave up.

Rumors suggested the Chief Advisor was incredibly overprotective of his sister, warning off suitors.

Others claimed that Uchiha Itachi, the Vice-Director of the Konoha Military Police Force, had his eye on Izumi, thus deterring her pursuers.

”Sasuke activated the teleportation seal. He’s in trouble. I need to go.”

Itachi stood up and headed towards the teleportation seal in the Military Police Force.

”I’ll go too,” Izumi said, following him.

”Why hasn’t my brother arrived yet?”

Watching the perilous situation unfold before Kakashi, Sasuke grew anxious.

Yusuke had taught the Flying Thunder God Technique to his three disciples, but the learning conditions were too specific; none of them mastered it.

Itachi received Sasuke’s distress signal but, lacking the Flying Thunder God Technique, needed to reach the teleportation seal first, unlike Minato’s instantaneous travel.

As Sasuke anxiously waited, a white light flashed from the scroll. Two figures in Konoha vests appeared on the battlefield, immediately drawing everyone’s attention.

In an instant, Itachi assessed the situation.

Orochimaru and Sasori were clearly together; Kakashi and the yellow-haired boy were temporary allies.

Exchanging a glance with Izumi, they both activated their Mangekyō Sharingan, rushing to aid Kakashi and Deidara.

”Amaterasu.”

”Kōdo Shunshin.”

The white snakes surrounding Deidara were instantly engulfed in black flames, turning to ash.

Simultaneously, Izumi, seemingly motionless, appeared eleven times around Sasori and his puppets, swiftly slashing at their necks.

The black flames were Itachi’s Amaterasu. Izumi’s movement resembled Shisui’s Shunshin no Jutsu.

Unlike Shisui, Izumi didn’t use ordinary Shunshin but her ”Kōdo Shunshin.”

Izumi was surprised.

With her sword, Senbonzakura, and chakra-simulated spiritual pressure swordsmanship, she could easily cut through metal.

However, her strikes against Sasori and the puppets only left deep scratches, failing to sever them. This was unexpected.

Aided by Itachi and Izumi, Kakashi and Deidara caught their breath and retreated to their side.

After hearing Kakashi’s report on his fight with Sasori, Izumi understood the puppets’ resilience.

Looking at Itachi and Izumi’s Mangekyō Sharingan, Sasori said slowly, ”Uchiha Itachi and Uchiha Izumi. The Uchiha clan’s youngest masters are indeed extraordinary.”

The Uchiha clan’s rise had made them the focus of all factions; Itachi and Izumi were of particular interest.

Orochimaru extended his tongue, licking his lips, ”Itachi and Izumi. You’ve both become excellent ninjas. I wonder how Yusuke-kun is doing.”

Itachi said calmly, ”Teacher is well. He occasionally mentions you, senpai.”

Orochimaru nodded, ”Since it’s you, I’ll give Yusuke-kun some face. Tell him I send my regards.”

Orochimaru and Sasori retreated, unopposed.
