Naruto: Zanka No Tachi

Chapter 103: NZNT: Chapter 103

After the Third Hokage used the ”Reaper Death Seal,” Obito, using his Mangekyō Sharingan, also saw the Shinigami behind the Third Hokage.

However, Obito and White Zetsu didn’t recognize the ”Reaper Death Seal” jutsu. They didn’t understand its danger.

”Summoning Jutsu? Although this summoned creature is a bit special, it won’t save you from your impending defeat!” Obito’s voice rang out.

As soon as Obito finished speaking, White Zetsu controlled his body and charged towards the Third Hokage.

The Third Hokage’s ”Adamantine Staff: Prison Wall” could defend against Wood Release jutsu, but it couldn’t block Obito’s Kamui.

After summoning the Shinigami, the Third Hokage proactively retracted the ”Adamantine Staff: Prison Wall.” He mobilized the remaining chakra in his body and quickly formed hand seals.

”Earth Release: Earth Dragon Bullet!”

”Fire Release: The Art of Great Flame!”

The Third Hokage simultaneously used an Earth Release and a Fire Release jutsu, combining them into a highly destructive composite jutsu. Dozens of earth dragons wrapped in high-temperature flames bit towards White Zetsu.

This large-scale attack jutsu might be difficult for other ninjas to dodge, but it posed no threat to White Zetsu, who was possessing Obito’s body.

”I didn’t expect this old man to have so much chakra. But doesn’t he understand that this is just a waste of chakra?”

Activating Kamui’s phasing ability, White Zetsu passed through the Third Hokage’s composite jutsu unscathed. In an instant, he arrived beside the Third Hokage and placed his hand on the Third Hokage’s shoulder.

”Got you!”

White Zetsu hadn’t expected it to be so easy this time. He had tried many times to drag the Third Hokage into the Kamui space, but the experienced Third Hokage had always prevented him from succeeding. He had even counterattacked several times.

The Third Hokage, who was being held by White Zetsu’s hand on his shoulder, didn’t panic at all. Instead, a triumphant smile appeared on his face.

”No, I’ve got you!”

After saying that, the Third Hokage actually grabbed White Zetsu’s arm.

Although White Zetsu didn’t understand what the Third Hokage was trying to do, he still prepared to activate Kamui and drag the Third Hokage into the Kamui space.

But at that moment, White Zetsu suddenly found that he couldn’t move. Not only could he not activate Kamui, but he couldn’t even move.

At this time, White Zetsu and Obito realized that a translucent, intangible claw had extended from the Third Hokage’s abdomen, grabbing their abdomens. It was because of this claw that they couldn’t move.

They also felt that this claw seemed to be pulling their souls out of their bodies. Once their souls were pulled out of their bodies, the consequences would be self-evident.

”What kind of jutsu is this?”

Obito’s voice rang out. He hadn’t expected the Third Hokage to still have such a trump card.

Hearing Obito’s words, the Third Hokage smiled, ”This jutsu is my last resort to protect Konoha and my family! You absolutely cannot escape!”

As soon as the Third Hokage finished speaking, Obito and White Zetsu felt their souls being violently pulled by a force.

Looking down, they saw that a translucent claw extending from the Third Hokage’s abdomen was pulling two intangible energy substances out of their bodies. They knew that the two energy substances being pulled by the claw were their souls!

White Zetsu and Obito couldn’t just sit idly by. Although they couldn’t move, they still tried to concentrate their energy to prevent their souls from being pulled out of their bodies.

Soon, it became a contest of souls and willpower. For a moment, the Third Hokage and Obito/White Zetsu were at a stalemate. To outsiders, they looked as if they were frozen in place.

On the other side, Yamato, under the attack of White Zetsu’s Wood Release clones, finally couldn’t hold on any longer. He was slightly injured by a Wood Release clone’s: Spore clones. To spare Yamato’s life, the Wood Release clone didn’t use the wooden spikes to inflict further damage.

To protect the three children, Yamato used the last of his chakra and used ”Mokuton” to protect them within a hemispherical wooden barrier. He was then captured by several of White Zetsu’s Spore clones.

Just then, two figures suddenly appeared. They attacked the Wood Release clones that had captured Yamato with lightning speed.

One figure was a young woman with light yellow hair. Every punch was powerful and forceful. The Wood Release clones she hit shattered into wood chips.

The other figure was a young man with strange markings on his face. The young man moved quickly. Although his attacks on the Wood Release clones seemed light and lacked power, the Wood Release clones he hit instantly emitted a pungent white smoke, as if they were being corroded by a strong acid, rapidly decaying.

The two who had arrived were Tsunade and Kabuto, who had just returned to the village. Kabuto’s attack used the unique acidic chakra of the ”Slug Senjutsu,” which could corrode its target.

Kabuto had just finished learning senjutsu. On his way back to the village, he happened to meet Tsunade, who was also returning to the village. They saw a giant wooden Buddha from afar near the village. Knowing that a major battle must have taken place, they rushed over.

”Tsunade-sama, Kabuto, quickly help the Third Hokage!” Yamato said with a look of relief. Now that reinforcements had arrived, the battle had a turning point.

Tsunade and Kabuto looked up and saw Obito and the Third Hokage locked in a stalemate. Kabuto also recognized the masked man in front of him as the one who had seriously injured him before.

Tsunade and Kabuto’s spiritual power wasn’t strong, and they didn’t have any special dojutsu. Therefore, they couldn’t see the Shinigami behind the Third Hokage or the souls being pulled.

But the enemy and the Third Hokage were clearly in a stalemate, unable to move. That made things easier.

”It seems your life will end in Konoha!” The Third Hokage smiled triumphantly, panting heavily.

Although he knew that no matter what, he would undoubtedly die after using the ”Shiki Fūjin,” killing such a troublesome enemy would make his death worthwhile.

Seeing Tsunade and Kabuto arrive, Obito became anxious. His body was completely immobile, like a sitting duck.

Even though he had Hashirama cells and White Zetsu, who possessed his body, had powerful regenerative abilities, he would undoubtedly die if he was attacked in this state.

”Impossible! My dream hasn’t been realized yet. Will it end here?!” The Obito behind the mask’s face was contorted. He used all his strength to forcibly mobilize his chakra. Although he pulled his soul back a little, he still couldn’t control his body.

Just then, the Shinigami behind the Third Hokage suddenly disappeared, and the claw that was grabbing Obito and White Zetsu’s souls also disappeared.

This sudden change stunned the Third Hokage, Obito, and White Zetsu. They didn’t understand what was happening.

The Third Hokage would never have imagined that the Shinigami had already signed a summoning contract with Yusuke. And at that moment, Yusuke had actually summoned the Shinigami away using the Summoning Jutsu.
