Beast Taming: I Can Add Points

The other Alliance Members all chimed in their support.

Yu Bao and Wu Bao seized the opportunity to pull back and return to Su Zhi’s side.

”I have a way to win, but I need everyone to cooperate. I need Shan Bao, too!”

”CHEEP! CHEEP!” Shan Bao nodded vigorously.

...

A moment later, the battle plan was set!

”WOOF!” ”WHINE!” ”CHEEP!”

Yu Bao’s paw, Wu Bao’s foreleg, and Shan Bao’s foot all stacked together as they cheered each other on.

Then, Yu Bao took the lead, using its Sand Manipulation Technique to rise into the air and fly directly above the Earth-necked Dragon’s head.

The other Flying Pet Beasts quickly scattered.

The Earth-necked Dragon’s eyes turned savage. It had clearly noticed the flying dog and opened its maw to spit out a volley of Wind Blades.

Yu Bao retaliated with its Furious Sand Blade.

It looked like they were about to clash head-on...

However, just as the Wind Blades were about to collide with the Furious Sand Blade, the entire attack flared with a Golden Light and suddenly vanished.

Before the Wind Blades could hit, Yu Bao dissolved into a cloud of sand and quickly repositioned itself to the Earth-necked Dragon’s front left.

The Earth-necked Dragon sensed that something was wrong, but it was too late.

The next moment, a Golden Light flared to life at the Earth-necked Dragon’s front left. Having been transported via Flash Gold Teleportation, the Furious Sand Blade reappeared, striking the knee of the dragon’s second front-left leg with lightning speed!

Blood erupted—

Yu Bao then appeared, a brilliant fireball held in its paw. Its eyes were exceptionally determined, as if to say:

’Don’t you dare underestimate our bond, you bastard!’

BANG!

From this dramatic one-two punch, the Earth-necked Dragon’s knee was grievously wounded, and another leg on its left flank was broken.

Without looking back, Yu Bao hit and ran.

”ROOOAR!”

The Earth-necked Dragon let out a furious roar. Just as it was about to retaliate, it saw Wu Bao raise its horn and charge at full speed.

’Bring it on!’

The Earth-necked Dragon’s eyes glinted viciously as it, too, hobbled and limped in a charge toward Wu Bao.

A One-star Pet Beast daring to charge a Two-star Pet Beast? What an act of provocation!

’Last time, my carelessness allowed that thing to break one of my legs. Now that I know how to deal with a Black Fighting Emperor, I won’t give it a second chance!’

However, the instant the Earth-necked Dragon raised a leg to stomp, Wu Bao also vanished in a flash of Golden Light.

The Earth-necked Dragon instantly sensed something was amiss and tried to brake, but the ground in front of it suddenly gave way, causing the leg it was using to stop to slip.

The Earth Force Field activated!

Both of the Earth-necked Dragon’s broken legs were on the same side. Even with eight healthy legs remaining, it couldn’t withstand such a jolt, and its center of gravity faltered for a moment.

At the same time, a Golden Light flashed—

Wu Bao appeared behind the Earth-necked Dragon. With its horn lowered, it wedged it into the gap between the dragon’s rear-left leg and the ground. Its three pairs of seemingly slender insectile legs pushed upward, heaving the entire Earth-necked Dragon forward!

With two of its legs on the left side taken out one after the other and having been caught off guard by the Earth Force Field, the Earth-necked Dragon was at its most unstable.

With Wu Bao’s final push, the Earth-necked Dragon had no way to resist, and its mountain-like body toppled over with a tremendous crash.

Yu Bao quickly adjusted the Earth Force Field. The ground swelled up and closed in, firmly encasing the Earth-necked Dragon’s vital spot.

The Earth-necked Dragon was seeing stars from the fall. It subconsciously tried to fight back, but when it opened its eyes, it found itself completely surrounded.

The moment it hit the ground, all the other Pet Beasts had swarmed forward to encircle it, each preparing their strongest attacks and aiming right for its head.

”WOOF!” ”WHINE!” ”SQUEAK!” ”CAW!” ”CHEEP!”

’You’d better behave!’

「Divine Strategy Alliance Research Center.」

Samika strode into an office. ”Alliance Leader, Captain Peng Kai of Cui Feng Alliance’s Squad 41 has sent a report about an anomalous Exotic Beast in the Huai City Exotic Beast Activity Area. This time, it’s an Earth-necked Dragon.”

”Those brutes didn’t damage it too badly, did they?”

Luo Sen frowned, pulling up the file on his screen. After watching the live recording, he grinned, revealing blood-red teeth.

’So Su Zhi was there, too.’

’Tsk, tsk. Look at these tactics, a true work of art. A genius is simply on another level from a brute!’

’I kind of regret not keeping him for dissection...’

As for the Earth-necked Dragon’s two broken legs, that wasn’t an issue. The Divine Strategy Alliance had ways to repair such injuries, and the results would be as good as new, if not better.

”Understood. Tell them to take care when recovering the ’Black Jade.’”

Luo Sen added casually, ”Right, what’s the status of the Black Jades we recovered previously? The test results should be out by now.”

”Yes. They’re all perfectly intact, with no signs of Abyssal Energy leakage... Wait!”

Samika froze after pulling up the report.

”One of the Black Jades is intact... but we detected no Abyssal Energy within it!”

”What?”

Luo Sen’s smile vanished instantly.

”Take me to that Black Jade!”
