Beast Taming: I Can Add Points

Suddenly, Su Zhi felt something moving in his pocket. At first, he thought it was his phone, but when he pulled it out, he saw it was a single golden feather.

It was the feather Shan Bao had left for him!

Then, a flash of Golden Light—

With a WHOOSH, a small bird with shimmering golden feathers popped into existence, landing on something and blinking its button-like black eyes.

Su Zhi asked in pleasant surprise, ”Shan Bao?”

”CHIRP CHIRP~” Shan Bao happily flapped her wings when she saw Su Zhi.

”Wuu?” Wu Bao scratched his head.

Only then did Shan Bao realize she was standing on someone’s horn. She hastily flapped her wings and flew into Su Zhi’s hand.

”CHIRP!” Shan Bao bowed nervously.

She was apologizing to the great Lord Wu Bao!

”Wuu~” Wu Bao waved his front paw with delight, a gesture showing it was no big deal.

’This little sister is pretty great. She’s so polite and cute. More importantly, her voice is lovely. And most importantly, she actually knows my name~’

Wu Bao looked at Su Zhi. ”Wuu.”

’How about you cancel your contract with Yu Bao? Just form one with me and her first.’

’You two really are good brothers...’ Su Zhi didn’t know whether to laugh or cry as he explained to Wu Bao how he’d met Shan Bao.

He didn’t go into detail, since the battle was still raging.

The other Alliance Members standing nearby were stunned as they listened.

’Good grief, he hasn’t even officially taken the second Pet, and now a third one is already lined up?’

’This Su Zhi kid is quite the player...’

”What about you, Shan Bao? Why did you suddenly appear?”

”CHIRP CHIRP!”

Shan Bao explained that she had sensed Su Zhi might be in danger through the feather. She tried using Flash Gold Teleportation and, unexpectedly, teleported right to the scene.

Su Zhi nodded in understanding.

Although the Alliance Headquarters’ Secret Realm entrance was far from Huai City, the Secret Realm also had many spatial contact points that were close to Blue Star.

Shan Bao must have activated Flash Gold Teleportation through one of these contact points and happened to teleport nearby. You could call it the luck of an Emperor O.

”CHIRP!”

Shan Bao hopped, turned, and looked at the Earth-necked Dragon in the distance.

’Don’t be afraid, she’s here to help!’

Under Shan Bao’s control, several feathers shimmering with Golden Light shot out, flying toward the Earth-necked Dragon.

Flash Gold Sparrow’s Strongest Output Skill, Golden Feather Flying Blade!

The brilliant radiance was so dazzling that almost every Pet Beast noticed the magnificent strike. Even the Earth-necked Dragon, with its mountain-like body, instinctively tensed up, preparing to defend.

But the distance was too great. The feathers lost their momentum before they could hit and fluttered lightly to the ground.

The Pet Beasts: ”...”

The Earth-necked Dragon: ”...”

Su Zhi: ”...Strongest Output Skill?”

”...” Shan Bao lowered her head in utter embarrassment.

It was her only Output Skill.

”ROAHAHAHA!”

The Earth-necked Dragon let out a mocking laugh, spitting a Wind Blade that swept toward Shan Bao.

Shan Bao frantically prepared to use Flash Gold Teleportation to escape for her life, but a Yellow Earth Wall shimmering with Golden Light instantly appeared, blocking all the attacks for her.

”ARF-WOO!”

Yu Bao was furious. He immediately retaliated with a Furious Sand Blade, plastering it against the Earth-necked Dragon’s body.

’Stay away from my Shan Bao!’

”ROAR!” The Earth-necked Dragon was enraged. It turned its head to tangle with Yu Bao.

It unleashed a dense barrage of Wind Blades, and all the Sky Pet Beasts on Yu Bao’s team suffered for it.

”WUU!”

Wu Bao, who was known for being a coward, also turned fierce. He aimed his horn and unleashed a Lance Thrust with 200% of his power.

’How dare you hurt my Shan Bao! Die!’

CRACK—

The sharp, heavy horn traced a gleaming arc through the air, viciously stabbing into the Earth-necked Dragon’s left foreleg. The unmistakable sound of breaking bone echoed through the air; the Earth-necked Dragon’s left foreleg was fractured on the spot.

”AWOOOO!”

The Earth-necked Dragon grew even more furious. It twisted its massive body and flung Wu Bao away.

Its remaining nine healthy legs began to stomp madly, and all the ground-based Pet Beasts near Wu Bao suffered for it.

Now, no one dared to step forward. Only those two, Yu Bao and Wu Bao, were left to maneuver and battle the Earth-necked Dragon.

The ridiculous part was, even though they couldn’t win, they weren’t losing ground either.

With Shan Bao’s appearance, the duo’s morale had instantly skyrocketed by two and a half times.

’Two hopeless sis-cons...’ Su Zhi complained silently to himself with a sense of helplessness.

However, despite Yu Bao and Wu Bao’s valiant performance, the gap in their Real-time Energy Values was too large. It was unlikely either Pet Beast could take down the Earth-necked Dragon.

In fact, none of the Alliance Members present could defeat it either, not unless they used their Main Pets... It had become a seemingly insurmountable mountain for them.

Su Zhi rested his chin on his hand, thinking.

In reality, this battle didn’t require a massive amount of damage output. It only required two conditions to be met:

1. Knock the Earth-necked Dragon over.

2. Control the Earth-necked Dragon and strike its weak spot.

If condition 1 could be met, condition 2 would be easy. The main problem right now was condition 1.

’A direct confrontation won’t work. Can I outsmart it?’

Su Zhi’s gaze wandered, and he noticed a glint of gold in his peripheral vision.

Shan Bao stood on his shoulder, watching her two ’big brothers’ fight their bloody battle, her eyes sparkling with admiration.

’I want to be brave just like them!’

Noticing Shan Bao’s gaze, Wu Bao and Yu Bao both started fighting with even more vigor...

Seeing the ground at the Earth-necked Dragon’s feet littered with shimmering golden feathers, Su Zhi’s eyes lit up.

’That’s right, how could I have forgotten about Shan Bao?’

”Senior Peng Kai, we can’t kill the Earth-necked Dragon, but is it possible to break a few of its legs?”

”...” Peng Kai had never heard such a strange question. ”You... how many do you want to break?”

”Two are already broken. So... how about one more?”

”...Fine! But no more than that!”

Peng Kai gritted his teeth, then sighed. ”But the Earth-necked Dragon has a full ten legs. What good will breaking another one do? It’s just a drop in the bucket.”

It was known as the most stable land-based Pet Beast for a reason.

However, Su Zhi said, ”I have a plan. Can you get everyone to hold on for a little longer?”

Peng Kai was stunned for a moment, then nodded immediately. ”No problem!”

”Never mind a little while, we can hold out for a whole day!”

”Everyone, put your backs into it! We can’t let the kid show us up!”
